This is, by far, my favorite all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Corona! Although its location is not as good as the others', Hon Sushi has very high quality fish. I have also taken advantage of the cheaper "AYCE Roll" option when I wasn't that hungry. Hon's rolls are not the best compared to Sushi Zen, Sushi Asahi, Tokai Sushi, and Ninja Sushi. However, Hon has the best fish in Corona! Unfortunately they were out of uni the one time I tried the "AYCE Sashimi" option so I can't say Hon is better than Dono Sushi or Sushi Martini. Note that the AYCE Sashimi option offers only one 3-piece order of sashimi for each person paying for the AYCE Sashimi price. Hon also carries three varieties of draft beer, which is more than any other AYCE sushi place has offered me. We tried Hon for the first time last night and honestly - it was the best we have had in a LONG time! Very well prepared - attention to detail like ensuring all items were labeled on the containers (something most places don't do unless you ask), very high quality fish and a really interesting variety. Everything here is just ok. Not bad but not good either. I went on Saturday night with my youngest sister. Waited about 5 minutes for a table, sat down and ordered drinks. I ordered a hot water with lemon and when it came it tasted like tap water from mead valley and was maybe a few degrees warmer that room temp. Not even hot enough to call Luke warm...it did tak a while to get our order (I wasnt in a rush so I didnt care) and I sent back my water when ordering. The food came in a timely manner but again nothing spectacular but not bad but still no water, round 2 came....still no water. All of this while my sisters drink was being refilled (upon request though) so I finish my 2nd round and finally say something and she brings it hot but at this point its too hot to let cool down while I eat. When I walked in, I was a little skeptical to try because it smelled a little fishy and thought maybe it wouldn't be fresh. I ordered the plate(can't remember the name). It came with your choice of meat, I had the salmon and it wasn't an extra charge which most places charge extra. It also came with rice, veggies, tempura veggies and one large tempura shrimp, miso soup, a salad, and 4pieces of the California roll. It's A LOT of food! I was on my lunch and it was out in less than 10mins! The food was all good and my salmon was not fishy at all! My boss had the rainbow roll and it was a beautiful roll and fresh! Sushi is good and well made for a small restaurant. However they could use some work on their serving skills. I have come on multiple occasions where the server often does not check if your water is refilled or anything and one time my party and i finished all our rolls and sat there for almost 40 min waiting for someone to come check on the table so we could ask for the check. We were one of the only three parties there so there is no excuse for being busy either. The servers are not even the ones making sushi either so what exactly are they doing? Bad service! The chef was yelling at the waitress about our order and we didn't get half of our order on all you can eat after waiting over 2 hours, we just wanted to leave. After telling them we were upset about the service and the fact that we drove over an hour to get here, they just replied, sorry we can't do anything about that.They just lost customers! Tried this new sushi spot today and I was so impressed I felt that I should write a review, which I rarely do. I am pretty skeptical of trying new sushi restaurants, but I can honestly say Hon Sushi is one of the best around! The quality, service, cleanliness, chefs, and ambiance was absolutely amazing. I think the patio will be a lovely place to have drinks and dinner with friends when the weather warms up, but I will definitely be back before then! I really like that they have a "rolls only" option for AYCE that is cheaper, since some of my friends enjoy rolls. I was excited to try this restaurant based on good reviews. I really wanted to like this place but i was disappointed after the first bite. For me, the biggest nono for an AYCE sushi place is having too much rice. Not only it makes you full quickly, you also can't taste the fish properly. I feel offended when a sushi place does this because it feels like they are just trying to make you eat less. Furthermore, the rice contained too much water, which created unpleasant texture and stale taste. The quality of fish wasn't that impressive either. Wait time was very long compared to other places. I think there were only 3 sushi chefs. I was feeling full about a half way through my first round. The servers were nice and friendly. I felt bad for them because it wasn't their fault that the food came out late. For an AYCE, this place is mediocre. This place would have been acceptable maybe 10 years ago when AYCE sushi places were gaining popularity. I will not return here and i do not recommend this place. read more

This place is amazing definitely a big hot spot in corona now and days. The owner is the sweetest guy and the chefs are so cool. The food is amazing and they even have multiple all you can eat menus! My favorite rolls to get here are the cherry blossom and the geisha rolls. If we're ever in the mood for sushi this is where we go. The waitresses can work on their services a little more but other than that this restaurant is always phenomenal. Been a little hesitant to eat here being that it's new. Finally came for lunch and I'm glad I did. It used to be Momo sushi, but once you step in you notice it's not anymore. They did a great job making a small place look big. Great job on the feng shui. THe all you can eat price is a little higher than other locations, but you finger what you're paying for. Enjoyed our late lunch with friends. Their AYCE is really good -- $15 rolls only but only till 3pm daily, $20 rolls & sushi, and $25 rolls, sushi, & sashimi. Their servings are good size portions considering the ayce. The staff were great -- friendly, courteous, informative and accommodating. The place was clean and "hip"; unfortunately we went there when their A/C was down but it didn't deter us from staying and eating and we weren't disappointed. The chef gave one of his specials for free. I think this place is known to do that from other Yelp reviews I've read. I'd bring my fam here no doubt and refer other friends to try out the place. read more
