They do not necessarily have a "happy hour". They have specials on drinks and rolls all day, everyday. Buy one, get one 1/2 off, etc. Hope this helps

The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

Not sure what was going on but in a way I can eat it right away but I am used to having it piping hot with steam and a richer flavor. Also got their green tea $3.50 and ice water but the service in refilling the water was slow, especcially with an empty restaurant. Yikes! All in all, it was my first time here. I did see them having a Happy Hour special so I will try that next time.

Rakki Sushi got high praises from our foodie friends who would visit us as well. The chef and staff were always super nice, they always came to check on how we were doing when they weren't too overwhelmed with the busyness, and we loved how super friendly they were. Our son loved the staff as well, and he always gave them smiles back in response to theirs. The ambience was more of a local/casual sushi spot, rather than somewhere fancy, which my wife and I greatly enjoyed since we like dressing comfortably in just t-shirts and joggers. The tables, seats, and utensils were always clean when we went there. The men's restroom wasn't the cleanest looking, but given the location it was understandable. Plus, we were there for the food, and not really to strictly use the restroom. We greatly miss you Rakki Sushi and hope you are able to come back one day!

It was mostly shrimp, not even a mix, and to make it worse, there was visible shrimp vein (yes, the poop tract) still in it. Completely unacceptable, especially for something being sold as a lobster roll. (See photo.) It also took another hour to get just three types of sushi, and the yellowtail was cut poorly, chewy and full of muscle, not clean or fresh. At this point, this isn't a one-off experience, it's a pattern. I've given this place multiple chances, and the food quality and timing consistently miss the mark. If you want good sushi, skip this place. If you want solid cocktails, sit at the bar and leave it at that.

The teriyaki chicken was served on a hot skillet. So flavorful. I took the majority of the chicken and rice for lunch the next day. I came back a few weeks later and it was much calmer. The service was great both times. I would recommend it.

We came in during lunch around 1:30 and it was packed and it was only one server working which is really bad considering how many people needed to be served. There was only one sushi chef and the owner wasn't a smiling person at all. When we told him that our mussels weren't cooked like the usual sweet way they are he didn't say anything took them to the chef and when he asked what was wrong the owner laughed and said I don't know. We've come here for a year and the service has never been good but this time it was just horrible. The food is average and the fish isn't great quality. It used to be better but the quality has gone way down. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here considering the way we were treated as paying customers. came in yesterday for lunch and did the $15 AYCE option. I really think offering a limited/cheaper AYCE option during lunch time is genius. I work at a restaurant myself, and most sushi places aren't open by the time I get off work, so I usually have to go for lunch. I love AYCE, but paying $25-$30 for lunch is a bit steep for me. Where do I even start! food is good, but if you notice they have new employees every week because the owners are disgusting people, I seen the male owner yell at employees in front of customers, how uncomfortable they make you feel, staring you down so you can leave. Bad service! I ordered uni and they came back and said they were out even though they had just opened and the guy sitting next to me arrived after me got his order of uni. The chef was rude and they were extremely slow. They're excuse was that they only had 1 chef, I don't think that should be the paying customers problem. Never coming here again. The albacore had ice chips on them, so they likely freeze them. Got the Spicy Ponzu Sauce topped over my half Salad and brown rice. Got my toppings, too. Flavor wise, my bowl could have used a little more flavor. Portion wise, it wasn't filling at all for me because it was very light on the protein scoops. It's a light lunch meal for sure. When I was here years back, the previous owners made it really good and the protein scoops were big. So there's definitely some shrinkflation with the protein portions. But for $16.99 plus tax for a poke bowl is still a fairly good meal deal. Looks like it's a family owned shop. The owners seem friendly.

The miso soup is always one that I get. They do have different style drinks, from teas, to boba, to sodas. The building is nice and clean. It's also minimalistic which is nice. This is a good place that if we want to eat nice sushi, but not at an expensive sit down, we come here!

I got my bowl served over brown rice, I got two scoops of Aji and one scoop of spicy tuna. I topped that with seaweed salad, cucumber, carrot, jalapeños, Masago, dried onion, and sesame. On top of all that I had them add Ponzu sauce, poke sauce, and spicy mayo. I took my order to go and by the time I got home and sat down to eat everything still tasted fresh. Compared to other poke places this seemed like a good price. The scoops/servings of fish seemed fair in size for the price. I will definitely return for lunch, but next time I will add a little more heat with spicier sauces.
