My friend and I went on a drive out in Cobourg, from Toronto. Whilst driving on the highway my…read morefriend ran over an unidentified piece of steel (probably something that fell off of a truck), that left the car shaking. Obviously realizing something had been severely damaged, we slowly made our way off the highway and called the local towing company. They had Chris meet us within 20 minutes. He is a great employee; knowledgeable and friendly. His customer service was the silver lining to a series of unfortunate events.

I cannot recommend this location based on my recent experience. During a routine oil change, they…read morestripped the thread on my oil pan plug. When I raised the issue, I was told it was now a "mechanical problem" and outside their scope of service. No compensation was offered, and no steps were taken to fix the damage they caused. While the premises is convenient for quick service, this incident shows the risk of using a facility that does not take responsibility for mistakes. My advice: take the extra time to book with a dealer or a reputable service shop. If an error occurs there, they will make it right to maintain customer trust.

"I don't care" was the response I got Can I get out of the car and go wait outside? "No" I don't know what type of business they are running but their service people are ignorant and lack customer service skills and empathy For others. I am now in a car that will soon break down because a service person at this shop during a ban on inter regional travel would not allow me to wait out side and breath the air I need to live. This place deserves 0 stars. If they want to enforce a mask policy for people in a car with their Windows up they need to follow all provincial laws HUMAN RIGHTS CODE included!

My husband and I had been going here since we moved to the area 8 years ago, and I can say without…read morea shadow of a doubt we will never step foot in there again. Multiple oil changes on several vehicles, two timing change belts on a Jetta diesel, thousands of dollars spent, and the "level of service" I personally received from the store manager Gord, was appalling. I took my brand new vehicle in for an oil change at the end of March 2025. The employee that serviced my vehicle, re-used the factory crush washer, and also took the engine cover off (don't know why you would need to take an engine cover off for an oil change). Having a gravel driveway, neither myself or my husband noticed the oil leaking out. When I did notice, the vehicle being under warranty, it was taken to the dealership, where it cost me $200 for them to tell me that whoever did the last oil change didn't do it properly. When I took my issues to Gord, I was "mansplained" on how he has personally changed oil on, as I quote "way more expensive vehicles than yours" and how they never replace the crush washers (that's how they work, they are crushed when they used and are NOT reusable) and that he would not be helping me with the $200 I had to pay for his stores mistake. Oh, and nor would he be looking for an engine cover, cause he had "non kicking around sweetie", and would have called me if he had seen it. I had lost over a litre of oil in my vehicle, and was looking at a completely seized engine on a brand new car. Since Barb has left, it has gone downhill. If I had the option to give this store 0 stars, I would. I would recommend going anywhere else for your oil change.
