Everything was great. The first time I visited the new location, it seemed like a few kinks were still being worked out, but this visit felt much smoother. I do want to share one piece of feedback that I believe is important: the black shades in the waiting area should be removed. When customers can't see what's going on, it unintentionally gives the impression that something is being hidden, and that's not the feeling you want customers to have. I'm saying this because I genuinely want the best for Hondura. I've been a loyal customer since the late 1980s, and I want Hondura to continue growing and succeeding. The first year I came here I knew I trusted them when I asked them if I needed to fix my O2 sensor amongst many other things that I knew were worn out (including my diagnostic reader telling me to check it out). They told me since my car is old it wouldn't be worth the money or time and prefer to work on other things that are more important. Hmm, a mechanic shop that turned down service? First sign of honesty. Honda service shop would've made me fix everything even though my car is well on DOA (at least I thought it was). My civic is over 230,000 miles now without any problems and their price is well below Honda's dealership service department. Hondura has also serviced my family's 2003 Accord and 2005 Odyssey all with great pricing and efficiency. read more

It was full of people and cars when I went so I skeptical of how long it would take. Within a few hours they had my car fixed! If you need someone to find a needle in a haystack this is the place. The woman at the front desk is so nice and helpful. I had recently worked with 4 other repair places on two different cars and every time I had to call and call. I heard great things about this place. The people are indeed very nice. But I've had a terrible experience and won't be returning. I had four things I needed fixed on my car. It took them two hours to give me an estimate. They decided to add an oil change to the list despite that it wasn't something I requested. I brought my car in the next week to get fixed. When I picked up my car at the end of the day a piece was the wrong color, which they explained, and I would have to return once the correct color piece was in. They changed the oil but didn't accomplish the three other things I needed done, so I had to point those out when I returned the car the following week when the correct piece came in. The second trip took another full day. The piece was the correct color, but had a defect, which they told me when I picked the car up at the end of the day. At that point I could live with it because I just needed my car back. Two of the three other items were fixed. One was never taken care of. When I discovered that I emailed them with an attached photo of the broken piece and never received a reply. Now two of the other items I had fixed have started falling apart. I'm just going to have Eskridge Honda take care of those. Either everyone else in OKC has received better service than me or they're hugely overrated. Either way, this is the last time I'll be taking a car there. read more

I found this place after searching google for the best place to get service on a 2007 Honda Odyssey. Attempted to request a quote from their website--don't do that. You won't hear back. But I called and scheduled an appointment for a couple of days out. Not sure how that would go if it was something I absolutely needed fixed right away, but for me it was fine. Was a little worried when I got there because no one seemed to remember the issues I wrote to them about on the website or spoke to them on the phone about. They did their bumper-to-bumper inspection and detected our power steering problem and fixed it. They called me to get approval for everything they did after the inspection which was nice. Prices quoted exactly matched prices charged at the end of the day. They also fixed our passenger side AC vent that was blowing hot. They were hoping to get replace the broken part (it will be a recurring problem until a temp control motor is replaced) but were unable to get the part on time. Installation of that part is scheduled for next Wednesday. I'm very happy with the transmission service, the correction of the power steering problem, and the temporary fix for the ac. It was all done with a reasonable price. They seem efficient and friendly. It's tough to figure out where to park in their crammed lot. Lots of cars parked there that don't seem to be going anywhere any time soon. I may update my review after next weeks visit, but I'm pretty comfortable recommending them and happy to have a mechanic. read more

I am so glad that family referred me to Hondura!! My check emissions light came on saying I have a "turbo overboost problem" I was so worried and stressed because any problem with the turbo could be major and very costly to repair or replace. When I called to schedule an appointment I spoke with Channesa, she truly is so nice and went above and beyond to answer any questions I had. She honestly made the entire process from beginning to end very pleasant. The technician that worked on my vehicle was Bubba, and I can't thank him enough! He went above and beyond to diagnose the problem. Not only was the problem minor but it was less than half of what I was expecting to pay. This place is so great! read more

Been taking my Honda's to Hondura (previously called Johan's Hondura) for years. Across at least 8 Honda's and too many maintenance visits to count, I've never had anything but great service, fair pricing and kept completion times. Hondura is NOT the cheapest place to have work done. It's just the best. I personally know of Honda's that have gone past 500k miles with the expertise of Hondura's long-term care. We drive ours out to about 200k and they are reliable the whole way. If you want it done right, this is the place. Far superior to a Honda dealership. read more

This car repair place is genuinely one of the things I miss about Oklahoma City. They were my repair place for the couple of years that I lived there, and it's true that you don't know what you have until it's gone! When I moved back to my hometown, my regular mechanic there complimented my car by saying it had been kept in very good condition by whoever I had been taking it to! How often do you get that sort of endorsement? Their honesty was what impressed me most. I admit I don't know that much about cars, and tend to rely on the knowledge of family members and websites. They were always very forthright and concise when describing what needed repair and what their recommendations were. Best of all, they'd tell me when something didn't really need to be replaced, and how many more miles until each part in question needed maintenance. One time I brought my car in for what I thought would be an expensive repair, and, after examining my car, they explained why all I needed was a trip to a place like Autozone, told me what to do, and let me on my way! I can't remember if they charged me anything at all for looking at the car, but, if they did, it must have been so small a fee that it wasn't worth remembering. As another example of why this place deserved my loyalty: After going to them, I tried another place for a simple repair because I was offered a deal. They ended up telling me about the damage done from that repair so that I could go back to the other repair place and have them fix their mistake. As another bonus, I never, ever felt like I was being talked down to either because of my lack of experience with cars or because I am a woman. I hate that this even needs to be mentioned, but I have received that condescending, almost baby-talk tone from too many people at car repair places, and it was nice to not have to deal with this here. They were always friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. To make a long story short: I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more
