I don't like leaving poor reviews but I've gone over and over this experience and decided to just go ahead and leave my honest impression. The technician Ryan was nice. He showed up a little after the end of the projected time window. I just really struggled to understand what he was saying through his accent. As a result I don't feel like I was fully able to communicate my concerns and understand his diagnosis. The problem reported was with the rattling noise my water dispenser made causing the water to sputter out whenever this noise started happening. He ended up finding a $106 part online and replaced the valve that connects the water line to the dispenser. I paid $356 for the visit and while the sputtering isn't exactly the same, it's still happening. I would have called him back but as I can't really communicate with him I didn't think it would do me any good. On top of all that, I had to pay by check to avoid some Russian bank fee if I understood what he was saying correctly. Pretty high price tag for not much of an improvement that I feel I'm stuck with enduring until the fridge has more serious problems. read more

Regardless of the business owners reply to my review, the fact is that his technician did not install the seal correctly. He does not know my schedule and how often I may or may not have used the appliance after his tech installed the seal incorrectly. Also, he only quoted a new "repair" price rather than coming out to check the work again and find out if in fact the seal needed to be replaced. The fact now is that the original seal is now installed correctly without any problems. read more

Unfortunately for them and me the refrigerator could be repaired without more labor and parts. We decided to get a new refrigerator. Honest Repair gave us a nice refund. no one wants a washer and a dryer to have trouble. Washer started leaking, dryer dial for cycles didn't work. But.... I initially gave Honest Repair a good review for working on our washing machine. We have warranty issues and there is a lot of inconsistencies as to what to do next. They throw the repairman under the bus and vice versa. I will wait to update my review but for now, not willing to give more than a 1 star for the trouble. We have paid for the repair in full yet they are unwilling to do warranty work unless we agree to pay for addition work and parts if needed. Doesn't seem right. read more
