I tried resetting it in the electrical box to no avail. After speaking to Mike in a pretty lengthy phone call, he didn't think my issue was the cook top itself, he thought it was an electrical issue. He said he could come out and check it out for a $175 house call ( we live in rural Washougal) but he was pretty sure he would only be telling me we need an electrician and we'd be out the $$. I thanked him for being forthright and we ended up consulting an electrician and Mike was right! It was a minor electrical issue. We had a like for like swap making any sheet metal reworking unneccesary. With all 5 estimates, Fuse Service HVAC came in the lowest. Considerably lower! But we asked a lot of questions to make sure they would do everything you must do to do a proper installation and they checked ALL our boxes. They were VERY knowledgable to share different options....thanks Dmitri! They showed up a few days later on the scheduled date. There were only 2 installers there except Dmitri came a couple of time but didn't need to do much at all. ALL their installers have 10+ years installing. I checked to see the progress through the day and they never stopped except for lunch knowing exactly what they needed to do! Impressive! They were working in the garage, in the back w/ a new A/C condensor and in the hallway to install a new Ecobee thermostat. We paid for an upgraded one that has a separate sensor which we put in our bedroom for the thermostat to only take that reading to make our sleep more comfortable, a great tech for sure! So Dmitri from the start came across as caring to meet all our needs, a good guy the kind I can relate to. Very personable and yet professional! All people from Dmitri the owner to his crew were friendly and answered my many questions every time as I am a detail guy LOL. There was NOT ANYTHING that I could see that didn't look anything less than a TOP NOTCH INSTALLATION. Washing Machine Door was not closing or staying closed…read more Machine is many years old. Door had broken part which he replaced. Door sagged at hinges and would not align perfectly. He adjusted the door as best he could and then showed me how to carefully close the door without causing further problems and left a spare part in case it broke again.
