I am never going to visit this place or order from here again. Have tried multiple times and have been thoroughly disappointed. For one they do their own thing as compared to other Franchises of Honest. I understand you are allowed to improvise but that would be to wow the customer not to cut corners like this place does. The latest order took the cake. Please look at the pics and tell me if this crap is worth $23 which by the way is much expensive than the East Windsor and other locations . The owner would care less but I would suggest they order once from East Windsor and see how they make it and learn. I'm also going to write to the Honest Corporate next with a suggestion to standardize preparation across locations. read more

Recently dined at Honest Restaurant in North Brunswick, and it was a delightful experience. The dine-in space was decent, and the service was impressive; our server was attentive and helpful with our order. We started with the Cheese Bhaji Pav, which was delicious and reasonably priced at $13.99. We also tried the Fried Rice with Manchurian; while the flavor was on point, the Manchurian balls were a bit dry and hard. Finally, we went for the Chur Chur Naan after reading many great reviews, and it lived up to the hype! It was rich and filling, priced at $15.99, and came with a hearty combo of naan stuffed with potatoes and paneer, curd, pickle, dal makhani, and gulab jamun. Overall, we loved our experience and highly recommend Honest Restaurant, especially for vegetarian food lovers. We're excited to return and try more items! cannot believe how is this restaurant functioning. How can you serve such horrible food after taking customer money! If this would be my restaurant I would never serve such food. Bhaji Pav had no flavor and the onion were not fresh, lemon was dry. Sandwich bread was so hard to chew and there is more. I would avoid stepping in this restaurant ever. I am sorry to give such a review but I wished I had seen previous reviews. I appreciate someone from the restaurant responding to reviews but it's just a formality. If you are in mood for Pav Bhaji or any fast food there are better alternatives. read more

Two word... Jini Dosa. I could leave this like this and it would say enough. I stopped at Honest for the first time with a colleague and we were greeted by the kindest gentleman (assuming he's the manager/owner). He made some recommendations and boy oh boy did he make a good one with the Jini Dosa. It was full of flavor, aromatic, seasoned well and filling. He was very confident we'd enjoy it and he was absolutely right. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to honest, the staff and food. The veggie cheese grill sandwich was very basic and tasted like something anyone could whip up at home. It lacked flavor. Could have had a bit more chutney and cheese. I would give it a 3/5. The Indian coffee is a scam. It was just some milk and the Nescafé instant mix (by their own admission). It had no coffee flavor whatsoever. It just tasted like milk. On asking the waiter, she was kinda rude and retorted saying that's just how we do it and we had to request her to make it more strong, and she gave us a tad bit more Nescafé coffee powder to add In our milk. I still might go back once more to try the other dishes in their extensive menu and hope for better food and service. read more

As a south asian, I am tend to be very cryptic when I visit south asian restaurants. But Honest honestly surpassed all my expectations. The food is delicious and the serving sizes are great. A great spot to catch up with my college friends and eat tasty indian snacks. The waiter was also very kind! I usually do take out from here but I dined in yesterday and it was amazing. I love the Indian style bhakri pizza and the paneer butter masala. Indo-Chinese food is really good. Everyone is nice and friendly. Very nice ambiance for family dinner. read more

HONESTLY I love this place (pun intended). I always am left satisfied when I order food from here. Sadly I dont have any pictures because I'm always in such a rush to eat my food because I know I won't be disappointed. Their Aloo Tokri Chaat is a MUSTTTT. The crispy tokri with the chaat fixins and the yogurt all over is mouthwateringgg. And ofcourse the main event is the Pav Bhaji. 10/10 best Pav Bhaji I've had after my grandma's. Definitely order extra Pav tho since 2 is not enough. The staff is kind, and attentive. When I ask for special instructions they ACTUALLY listen. I have to give Honest a 5/5. read more

I ordered a dosa here for the first time. I normally get pav bhaji or Indian Chinese. It didn't come out really well the cheese wasn't melted, and barely there. On top of that it was like a paper dosa too crispy it was breaking. I would like to point out that the server needs to be trained properly he kept arguing with me once I pointed it out, and wouldn't budge. He also touched the dosa opening it to point out the cheese. That isn't sanitary nor something any customer would want. The manager was really nice and understanding, and was able to make a new one. I really appreciated it, and it came out really good. I'm giving it 4 stars because they did redeem themselves. I never had an issue before and the food is really good with a lot of options. read more

Service was poor. Our Server was curt and not welcoming. I am allergic to chickpeas and specifically had asked for panipuri without sev or besan. He brought the pani with boondhi.
