Both tikkas had absolutely no salt. Chicken tenderness was perfection but marinate was not good at all. Gobi 65 was good no issues. Solid spot for Indian food in New Jersey. My friends and I made a same day reservation for Tuesday dinner just an hour before coming to the restaurant. Our reservation was for 7:30, but the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived 15 minutes early and we were promptly seated. Everyone in my group was vegetarian so we stuck with vegetarian options. Overall, I thought all of the entrees were delicious with generous portions. One appetizer + 3 curries was more than enough for 5 people to share. We ordered: Dahi ki kebab ($16.95) - crispy yogurt dumplings. Personally not my favorite, but everyone else enjoyed them Dal makhani ($15.95) - I typically don't like dal makhani (something about the flavor throws me off), but this was the best I've ever had. The lentils were very creamy and tasted amazing. Paneer butter masala ($19.95) - pretty solid but nothing special about it Bhindi masala ($16.95) - everyone's favorite entree of the night was surprisingly the bhindi masala. Came here on a Friday for lunch and the place had plenty of open tables - definitely not too busy. The ambiance felt clean, tons of natural light, and it was very quiet. A pleasant meal overall. The menu had a good mix of entrees and variety of dishes so it was a bit hard to choose. We settled on two main dishes along with naan and rice which satisfied two of us pretty well. The mango lassi was a little small in my opinion for the price, but tasted fine all the same. The curry we got was pretty spicy - I would definitely ask for lower spice if you're not a fan, we typically enjoy a kick but this one is stronger than your normal flavor. The chicken was well-cooked for the other dish and we enjoyed it a lot, albeit it felt small on the portion side. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would recommend the place for the quality of the food, however the price point is a bit high so I'd just be warned of that before coming. I recently visited Kabab Culture and had a fantastic experience. We tried the Amritsari fish, which was perfectly spicy and lacked any fishy taste. The chutney paired with it was amazing and complemented the fish beautifully. We also had the Galuti kabab, and they were incredible! They melted in my mouth, perfectly flavored, and reminded me of the kebabs from my hometown in India. I've never had such good kebabs in the USA. The service was very good too. Some things were really good (Seekh kebab, pudhina parantha) some were good (dahi kebab, dal makhani) others average butter chicken, garlic naan was below average. it is without a doubt OVERpriced. The google and Yelp pages says $$ but it's $$$. It's a BYOB and not fine dining. A appetizer dish (5-6pcs) costs about $24 approx. now, food vs price, there's better food available for the price. They add 20% service charge for a family of 3. I can understand that for larger groups. It's a shame. I saw people waiting for their food for long enough time, they were been apologized for the delay (it's a good thing) but shouldn't happen when service charge has been added for the service. Guest should have the right to decide how much add for the service. the server (guy) was rude to talk to, The female keep coming to our table and pulling my kids cheeks. Once was okay, second time she did it, my son was uncomfortable enough and told her to stop. I don't know if her hands were clean to touch a kids face while working. And why do it! Food is good, it's a clean restaurant with limited seating. Service was good but felt being rushed to finish food and leave. We made an online reservation and went on Friday Eve. Being vegetarian, we ordered Paneer Tikka, mushroom shahslik and Dahi kebabs. Paneer Tikka and mushroom were really good. I have never seen so disrespectful person in restaurant services, the manager is the most arrogant person you would ever come across. I booked a table for 8 people for a team celebration, this lady kept pestering us, I want tables back in 1 hour , I want my tables back, we offered to shift to another table, but she kept saying don't make excuses, give tables back, so we left the restaurant and moved the party to Roohi biryani. Throughout our conversation she refused was not willing to work with us, as if she doing favors by letting us sit there. This place is garbage with shit attitude. I'll try to keep this one short, as much as possible :) So I went here in December with bunch of co-workers for a holiday dinner. We knew this place was slightly on the higher price point, but wanted to try it out since the menu looked promising. So the food itself was very delicious to most part, barring a few minor grievances, like some of the appetizers were not piping hot and galouti kabab was not up to the mark, it was barely melt in the mouth, you could feel and chew on the ground lamb meat. However the other kababs, be it the chicken malai Tikka, fish kabab or the paneer Tikka were really good. The surprise star of the meal was the jack fruit biryani which was super flavorful and right on the spot! Coming to the part that really upset me, the dessert! We ordered a Kulfi and asked them if it's shareable and we were told it will be 4 pieces, so we're like that's cool and what arrived was one spoonful of kulfi cut delicately into four pieces, just so you get an idea of how big was the kulfi, I've attached a picture of me holding the entire kulfi in a dessert spoon! The fish Amritsari was tasty, crispy, fresh and was great with onions and green chutney. The galauti kebab lamb was bitter, had a strange old oil or fat smell. We couldn't eat it. My review here is directly in line with my experience in ordering catering for a small party. I expressed a wish for specific details and the response that I received was more brusque than required or expected. When I asked if my order could be just put on hold so that I can discuss and get back, I was recommended, very impatiently, that I just cancel my order and get back to them when I've made up my mind. This has definitely soured my experience with this restaurant as they don't seem to have basic courtesy or patience in having a discussion. With the amount of good Indian dining experiences that we now have on route 27, I would give this place a pass! Food was excellent although I was very upset at the customer service and hence I'm giving 2 stars. The lady who manages the place (Parbeen was her name I think) was extremely rude to us. There is a 2 hour limit on the tables which we knew going in, however they delayed serving the entrees and we only had 15 min to finish up our entree. She came promptly at 8:30 (our end time) and asked if we wanted dessert. We did not want dessert and right after that she said your time is up, you need to leave since the next party is waiting (if we had ordered dessert, it was fine!!). I was still eating with food in my mouth when she said this. Then they have a rule that they only split checks between 2 cards which was very inconvenient for us. When we said we're not gonna come back, she flat out asked us not to. Is this how you treat customers in a place where you charge fine dining prices for a very ordinary ambience and auto charge 20% gratuity on top of that? EXTREMELY RUDE SERVICE - we will not go back and you shouldn't either unless you want to be treated rudely. Starting with the good: This was one of the few Indian restaurants that did not rush you out. As an Indian, I feel like we seldom truly appreciate the dining experience because we just eat and it's on to the next thing. Kebab Culture clearly valued the dining experience as they gave you time in between each course. Now to the not so awesome: The entree took quite some time to come out so I figured it was being prepared fresh so it would taste delectable. We ordered the Kadai Paneer - which was subpar - lacked spices and a bit too oily for my liking. We had that with the garlic naan, which was thin and crispy, as oppose to fluffy and airy which I typically prefer. For appetizer, the owner recommended the Nadru (Lotus Root) ke Shami Kabab, which was unique and spicy (good!), but nothing extraordinary. Finally, for dessert, the Jalebi Caviar on Rabdi fell short of my expectations - the jalebi "caviar" didn't even taste like jalebi. The presentation of these dishes was also just okay, and there were no complimentary sides, i.e. papad, rice, pickles, which kind of blows as the price point is higher than their competitors. We happened to come in on a night where the owner sings, which was awesome to have live entertainment; however, we had to have come on a bad night because the system was malfunctioning and screeched loudly multiple times. Sitting next to the speakers in a small enclosed space, it was uncomfortably loud and ruined the dining experience. The owners vision of uncovering some of India's hidden food gems is great, but unfortunately a lot of improvements need to be made. In an area that's saturated with Indian cuisine, I'd opt for one of the much better restaurants just down the road. read more

Simply amazing!!!! Managed to somehow secure a prime time (Friday night) same day reservation, and as expected place was packed. The atmosphere was pretty chill. The food was worth the wait, everything was just yummmmm! The kebabs literally melted in the mouth. Ordered Nadru ke Shammi Kebab and Juicy Angarey Chicken Tikka, fresh out of the oven and they were just bursting with flavor. The entrees were delicious as well. We visited this restaurant on a Tuesday around 8 pm. We were seated and the sole, not so friendly waitress, stopped by to take our order. We were told that the first dish we selected, Afghani tandoor chicken. from the QR code menu, was not served. She suggested an alternate,chicken chop, but could not explain anything much about it and started to get annoyed and impatient. The second dish we selected, aloo keema chat, was also not available, and she seemed visibly disinterested in helping us select alternatives She left us while we looked at the menu on our phones. In the meanwhile a large unruly party swarmed in and started to seat themselves and she was very interested to accommodate them. Changing my review of kebab culture. I was very impressed after my first visit and gave this place a 5 rating. However second visit was disappointment. The food lacked quality and the service was horrible. It was slow and servers made mistakes, forgot orders that we gave etc. The owner is extremely arrogant. They served us half cooked galauti kebab which was raw in the center, so I returned the dish. The owner came to our table and instead of being polite or trying to listen what the issue was, he snapped at me that I was making assumptions about his chef!!! Btw, he was also drinking while on the job. very impressed with the Decour of the restaurant love a nice high back chairs and tile table. The menu looks a little worn out and have some food stains but I guess I was OK-ish. We ordered the jackfruit biryani the avocado Pakora tacos and a lemon and chili tikka chicken. The presentation for all three dishes was really wonderful. I was not a fan of the Pecora tacos. The avocados arent very fresh And too much breading With the pakora and the taco. And the flavors really clashed. Jack fruit biryani was a really flavorful and aromatic. It's create a racist perfectly cooked and separate not clumpy and very tasty. You didn't eat you need to add a thing to it. The lemon chili tikka stole the show. Great unique combination of flavors.
