I just ran to City Mill where I picked up one double pack of huge bags(108"×80") along with a can of termite treatment, all for under $20, went home, stuffed that furniture in the bag and used the entire can to assure it got in ALL of the little hidden tunnels and holes that those disgusting little boogers created. I sealed it then took it outside and sucked out all of the air with the vacuum(outside to prevent termite treatment chemicals from being emitted in the air via the vacuum), gave it one day, then I took the furniture out to let it air out under the sun, brought it back inside and it was as good as new, with the exception of the damage those disgusting things previously caused. A little bit of matching colored wood putty and NOW it's as good as new! ALL IN ALL I SAVED MYSELF $385 Just curious, the misleading name of kama'aina as well as kama'aina discounts makes no sense because what tourist needs to treat their Hotel or whatever? OBVIOUSLY it's only going to become kama'aina who inquire about getting treatments!

I was still willing to give kaimaaina a chance to make right. When they called me the day before to give me my window time they told me between 9am and noon. I was like no I was told 3pm until 5pm. The lady had the guy who quoted me the time to call me. He was rude to me on the phone and pretty much called me a liar and used a very threatening voice on the phone. I told him no thanks I will go with another company from here on out. Thanks but no thanks. Do not use this company. Overpriced with no aloha and horrible customer service.

Without my permission, the crew drove a heavy vehicle onto my driveway and lawn, leaving noticeable indentations. They also turned the vehicle's tires while on the grass, tearing up and damaging the lawn. I contacted the company by phone, left a message through their AI system (which is just horrible as you don't get to talk to a real person. Guess their way of not having to get back to you.) and followed up with a detailed email requesting that someone contact me to discuss resolving the damage. Despite these efforts, I have received no response. Mistakes can happen, but what is most disappointing is the lack of communication and customer service afterward. I simply wanted to discuss the damage and find a resolution, but my calls and email have gone unanswered.

We recently moved into a new house and discovered an active bee hive. I called our contracted company, and much to my dismay, they only exterminate. Honey bees are too important so I decided to look for someone who could relocate them. A quick search led me to Honey Bee Rescue and I'm so glad it did! The best bee rescue/service ever! When I had a bee swarm descend on my garden looking to make a new hive, the bee team(Peter) came immediately to relocate the swarm. Peter was so friendly, informative and really knew what he was doing! He obviously cares deeply about rescuing and nurturing bees, setting up a box to transfer the Queen (the rest of the bees would then start following her inside) and then making a second trip back to my house after nightfall to finally collect the new hive in order to make sure all the bees had returned for evening and weren't left behind/separated when the hive was translocated. My son, along with some scouts from his Troop, recently had an opportunity to meet Peter from Honey Bee Rescue (& Morrow's Hawaiian Honey). Peter generously shared his time and his knowledge of bees with the boys. And some of the scouts even got a chance to wear the familiar hat and veil worn by bee keepers when they do their work in the "bee yard." We were very happy with Honey Bee Rescue. They couldn't come right away because they had to finish a rescue of around 100,000 bees. I thought they might not be able to make it today, but even though it was late and very dark they came and had them all vacuumed up by 8 pm. From the first day he came out to inspect our bee problem, he educated us on how the bees behave, what they do, the type of workers they have and what their job is, how the queen is made, etc. Although he wasn't able to fully inspect the situation as the hive was located under a platform we built for our shed to sit on, the information he gave was helpful in knowing how to maneuver around the bees so that we could empty out the shed. During the clearing process, the bees were getting agitated and started swarming around. My husband called him and sent pictures of the activity. He came out to control the situation and removed the bees that were "locked out" from accessing the hive. Again, he educated us on what was going on and why the bees were acting they way they were. He told us exactly what to do and what not to do. We successfully cleared out the shed with no stings involved! Removal day: He arrived around 9am and discovered it to be a bigger job than he expected , which took him about 7 hours to complete. He left around 5pm. The last hour was spent debriefing us. He explained everything he did, what to expect with the lingering bees and educated us more about them. It was a very enjoyable conversation as we got to learn more about him aside from his beekeeper title. As we're sitting there talking, bees would fly by him and I thought it was so cute that he acknowledged them by saying hi. I can tell that he sincerely loves bees ! I won't say anymore about him in this review, you'll have to find out more about him for yourself. As a souvenir, Matthew left us with a nice piece of honeycomb and explained how to extract the honey and properly store it. Can wait to taste what was created under my shed! Wanna BEE SMART?
