Went here for brunch with a friend and it was delicious!!! Started off with fries, honey biscuits and pancakes and all were so yum -- loved how you can get side portions to share! For the main I got chilaquiles verdes and they were phenomenal! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is amazing and it's very cute inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to be back

We met friends for brunch at Honey Biscuit, and had a great time! Our server was fantastic, and they were very quick to respond if we needed anything. The portions are pretty standard for breakfast places (large), so it's easy to split with another person. However, we also got the titular honey biscuits, and they were to DIE FOR. Very fluffy and warm, and with drizzled honey just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend!

Food and portions are great! They have some summer specials. I appreciate the range of alternative milks available.

    Seasonal Wrap: Chicken Caesar

Seasonal Wrap: Chicken Caeser -romaine, grilled chicken, avocado, roasted street corn, tortilla strips, cotija cheese and chipotle caesar dressing. served with sweet potato fries. I've had their breakfast here before as well, very good. Service isn't bad and it's usually pretty steady. Very much a great breakfast, brunch or lunch spot to go with family or friends.

Food is fantastic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor covered section is nice. It's comfortable and it doesnt get too hot outside. Theres a huge skylight window too so it's bright even though it's covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee is not worth it. I had the goat omelet. It comes with caramelized onions, bacon, and spinach inside. This omelet was super tasty. The omelet is very large so I took half if it home. It reheated well the following day. I also shared a biscuit and gravy with my husband. He had the corned beef hash. Food was worth the visit. He ordered a latte but it tasted very watered down. It might have been made with coffee instead of espresso.

You Have to add this place to your list of breakfast places! Food: Just Outstanding. Corned beef hash, made from scratch, eggs over easy, crispy potatoes & cinnamon swirl pancakes with fresh cream & maple syrup ($3 specialty pancake upcharge) that is worth it. Also washed the yummy food down with a cookie butter iced chai with oatmilk & cinnamon. Everything was so delicious & reasonably priced with leftovers! Ambiance: Great, it's a newer place that's not worn down. Trendy industrial look ceilings. Bright & airy. Service: Good Parking: Tight in the actual lot, but I found a spot right away the next lot over with no wait & a 1 min walk. Overall: Incredible breakfast place you have to try!

Very tasty and light spring skillet with granny apples, chicken sausage and sweet potatoes! Yogurt parfait was full of fresh berries! Yummy!

More of a 4.5/5. Tried Honey Biscuit for the first time today and generally had a pleasant experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was good. The restaurant is spacious and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiters and table bussers were nice. However, I had a slight issue at the beginning of my meal. My sister's coffee mug had an old lipstick stain that wasn't washed off properly. I called the waitress over immediately and we asked her to give my sister a new mug. The waitress apologized and gave us a new mug. I felt the waitress handled this incident appropriately and in a professional manner. Despite this misstep, the rest of the meal was simply divine. I ordered a classic eggs Benedict that came with house potatoes. The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked. The Canadian bacon was of great quality, and the English muffin was thick and well toasted. As a result, the English muffin did not get soggy when the egg yolk started running. Most places have flimsy English muffins, so it was a pleasant surprise. My favorite part of the meal though was the crispy potatoes. These potatoes were very crispy and flavorful. Most breakfast restaurants usually have very mushy house potatoes and this was a very welcome change. My sister ordered two sunny side up eggs, potatoes, and chocolate chip pancakes. She said her eggs were cooked perfectly. I tried some of her pancakes and they had the right amount of sweetness. I had a wonderful time here. While I forgive them for the lipstick stain, I can't forget it and is still a factor in my rating.

Everything we had here was fantastic, and now this is my favorite brunch spot in the area. Nowadays, it seems like it can be a bit tricky to find a brunch restaurant that serves amazing food with good quality ingredients - but Honey Biscuit does all of this. My absolute favorite thing here was the breakfast sandwich and the honey biscuits. Finally, a great find!

Visiting here for the first time on a weekday morning, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the shared parking lot was very full, so was lucky to find parking on the street that is free for a couple of hours. It was not busy when you walked in so we were seated very quickly services. Quick food is just as quick to come out as well. Portions are fair not overly generous though. I would say there might be some room for presentation however, flavors were definitely on point and service was very good at refilling coffees and waters. And they definitely didn't rush us out considering that they weren't busy. I would come back again and try more items on the menu as the menu is quite extensive. The Mount Prospect Arlington Heights area is overly saturated with brunch and breakfast places. However, I would come back.

New brunch place at honey biscuit in mount prospect! Super delicious first time trying it out and surprised so much food came with just one order! They have a variety of options when it comes to plant based food as well! Such a cute and yummy place The service was very sweet and they came around and filled up the coffee many times!

    Chilaquiles
    Aliké S.

Would have loved to return to taste other items on the menu that peaked my interest - can definitely say with confidence that I liked several things they offer on their menu! This time I kept it pretty basic - ordering Chilequiles (a good vegetarian dish). Very solid! Eggs were perfect, to my liking. Nothing at all to complain about really. If you like having various breakfast options, or like choices, pay them a visit!

And the music seemed similar to a club beat but not obnoxiously loud. Service The service was great. Our server gave us some recommendations and the staff seemed pretty nice. The food itself did not take too long to come out. Also, when there was a mistake with one of the orders, it was taken care of without any issues. Food Fried potatoes This was a recommended side. The potatoes themselves were crispy with a fluffy middle. It came with a spicy mayo type of dipping sauce which tasted good other than the fact that dipping the potatoes in it did not really get that much sauce on them. I would recommend this side dish. French onion grilled cheese The French onion grilled cheese is a very tasty dish. It has the sweetness of the caramelized onion and nice cheese pull. It is a rich dish so eating cause food fatigue. We got it with bacon. It was good but not really necessary. Crispy chicken sandwich This is the chicken sandwich seen on tiktok. The cutlet is thick and it was fried with a light coating. The chicken sandwich was juicy. I think mine might have needed a little more seasoning (my own preference). Overall The scratchboard kitchen is a nice place to go and have a bite to eat. It has a nice array of food and drink options. I would recommend at least trying the food and enjoying the ambiance and service.

Upon my first visit on a Thursday for lunch, the waitress Nur provided excellent service to our table. She was patient, pleasant, and provided answers to our many questions. Just loved her service with a smile and uplifting energy. My friends and I ate hard and everyone enjoyed their food. I tried the lentil soup which was wonderful and I had the mushroom guvec with rice on the side that was delicious. We were served tea as an after dinner refresher which was nice. We noticed the bakery on the way out and they had so many treats ready to be ordered and taken home. The second visit was terrible. I came for lunch on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. The lahmacon is offered as a lunch special and I asked if I could have the cheesemacon for the special. It's the same version with just cheese and no meat. My waiter Jamal straight told me no. I found that very odd so I inquired further because they are the same price on the menu and it's without meat. The answer still didn't change. I simply had a few more questions about other menu items and Jamal seemed agitated by then. He was not even trying to be nice. I ordered two entrees. I paid full price for the cheesemacon and had a pide with kashkaval cheese. Jamal brought my food and NEVER came back to my table. I watched him provide service to all the other tables during that time. I was fine and didn't need anything, but I didn't deserve to be treated that way for being pleasantly inquisitive. I really felt bothered by this because out of all my years of eating out, I never felt that a server treat me poorly personally for being myself. I've had bad service before just because the service is bad overall and that is different. I like the food so I reluctantly returned for a third time and had breakfast. Service was standard and the food was good. My mushroom omelette was fine. The traditional french toast was solid. This review should be one star but it is four without Jamal.

The bathroom latches are way too high for a child to lock the door, but they do have a fold down changing table in the woman's restroom. (Not in the stall) They do have high chairs for toddlers. I actually need a chair to rest my leg on because I cannot bend my right knee. Our waitress was very nice about it... however a man came up to me and told me it was a fire hazard to have a chair in the aisle... so what about the kids high chairs? The chair was completely pushed under the table... so I had no choice but to put my foot up on the other side of the booth (which I was avoiding). Also the booth cushion is not attached so when you lean on it it comes up... making it very hard for a handicapped person like me to get in and out of a booth. other than that our experience was enjoyable. My husband's scrambled eggs looked more like 3 eggs and not two. The food was nice and hot and tasty. Highly recommended dining here if you're in the area. Will be back.

Then Nevi appeared. Good God. Every civilization has one person capable of making you briefly forget your own name. Nevi was that person. She looked like the sort of woman who could convince a jury to acquit you of crimes you'd actually committed. As a waitress? Adequate. She took the order. She brought iced tea. She never once inspired me to write poetry about customer service. She wasn't bad, just operating under the unfortunate handicap of looking like she belonged in a magazine instead of carrying breakfast to hipsters with too much disposable income. The chicken and waffles arrived looking like they'd been designed by a committee of Southern grandmothers with a complete disregard for cholesterol or moderation. The chicken shattered under the fork with a glorious crunch that echoed across the room like a rifle shot at dawn. Juicy inside. Properly seasoned. No gimmicks. The waffles were exactly what waffles should be: sturdy enough to support a reckless amount of syrup without collapsing into emotional ruin. However... their syrup suuuuucked! I needed the godd**n jaws of life to get it out of the bottle as it limply drizzled in my waffle at the speed of molasses. The chicken & waffles though? Together they formed one of those rare culinary alliances... Just excellent fried chicken sitting confidently on an excellent waffle, as nature intended. Meanwhile, Nevi drifted through the dining room causing minor traffic accidents in the peripheral vision of every man under eighty. If she'd also been an exceptional waitress, there would've been riots. Five stars. Nevi was worth briefly reconsidering my life choices.
