Went here for brunch with a friend and it was delicious!!! Started off with fries, honey biscuits and pancakes and all were so yum -- loved how you can get side portions to share! For the main I got chilaquiles verdes and they were phenomenal! Service is amazing and it's very cute inside! Can't wait to be back

We met friends for brunch at Honey Biscuit, and had a great time! Our server was fantastic, and they were very quick to respond if we needed anything. The portions are pretty standard for breakfast places (large), so it's easy to split with another person. However, we also got the titular honey biscuits, and they were to DIE FOR. Very fluffy and warm, and with drizzled honey just the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend!

Food is fantastic. The outdoor covered section is nice. It's comfortable and it doesnt get too hot outside. Theres a huge skylight window too so it's bright even though it's covered. Coffee is not worth it. I had the goat omelet. It comes with caramelized onions, bacon, and spinach inside. This omelet was super tasty. The omelet is very large so I took half if it home. It reheated well the following day. I also shared a biscuit and gravy with my husband. He had the corned beef hash. Food was worth the visit. He ordered a latte but it tasted very watered down. It might have been made with coffee instead of espresso.

You Have to add this place to your list of breakfast places! Food: Just Outstanding. Corned beef hash, made from scratch, eggs over easy, crispy potatoes & cinnamon swirl pancakes with fresh cream & maple syrup ($3 specialty pancake upcharge) that is worth it. Also washed the yummy food down with a cookie butter iced chai with oatmilk & cinnamon. Everything was so delicious & reasonably priced with leftovers! Ambiance: Great, it's a newer place that's not worn down. Trendy industrial look ceilings. Bright & airy. Service: Good Parking: Tight in the actual lot, but I found a spot right away the next lot over with no wait & a 1 min walk. Overall: Incredible breakfast place you have to try!

More of a 4.5/5. Tried Honey Biscuit for the first time today and generally had a pleasant experience. The ambiance was good. The restaurant is spacious and cozy. The waiters and table bussers were nice. However, I had a slight issue at the beginning of my meal. My sister's coffee mug had an old lipstick stain that wasn't washed off properly. I called the waitress over immediately and we asked her to give my sister a new mug. The waitress apologized and gave us a new mug. I felt the waitress handled this incident appropriately and in a professional manner. Despite this misstep, the rest of the meal was simply divine. I ordered a classic eggs Benedict that came with house potatoes. The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked. The Canadian bacon was of great quality, and the English muffin was thick and well toasted. As a result, the English muffin did not get soggy when the egg yolk started running. Most places have flimsy English muffins, so it was a pleasant surprise. My favorite part of the meal though was the crispy potatoes. These potatoes were very crispy and flavorful. Most breakfast restaurants usually have very mushy house potatoes and this was a very welcome change. My sister ordered two sunny side up eggs, potatoes, and chocolate chip pancakes. She said her eggs were cooked perfectly. I tried some of her pancakes and they had the right amount of sweetness. I had a wonderful time here. While I forgive them for the lipstick stain, I can't forget it and is still a factor in my rating.

Very tasty and light spring skillet with granny apples, chicken sausage and sweet potatoes! Yogurt parfait was full of fresh berries! Yummy!

Everything we had here was fantastic, and now this is my favorite brunch spot in the area. Nowadays, it seems like it can be a bit tricky to find a brunch restaurant that serves amazing food with good quality ingredients - but Honey Biscuit does all of this. My absolute favorite thing here was the breakfast sandwich and the honey biscuits. Finally, a great find!

Visiting here for the first time on a weekday morning, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the shared parking lot was very full, so was lucky to find parking on the street that is free for a couple of hours. It was not busy when you walked in so we were seated very quickly services. Quick food is just as quick to come out as well. Portions are fair not overly generous though. I would say there might be some room for presentation however, flavors were definitely on point and service was very good at refilling coffees and waters. And they definitely didn't rush us out considering that they weren't busy. I would come back again and try more items on the menu as the menu is quite extensive. The Mount Prospect Arlington Heights area is overly saturated with brunch and breakfast places. However, I would come back.

New brunch place at honey biscuit in mount prospect! Super delicious first time trying it out and surprised so much food came with just one order! They have a variety of options when it comes to plant based food as well! Such a cute and yummy place The service was very sweet and they came around and filled up the coffee many times!

Would have loved to return to taste other items on the menu that peaked my interest - can definitely say with confidence that I liked several things they offer on their menu! This time I kept it pretty basic - ordering Chilequiles (a good vegetarian dish). Very solid! Eggs were perfect, to my liking. Nothing at all to complain about really. If you like having various breakfast options, or like choices, pay them a visit!

I finally checked out this local breakfast eatery, Honey Biscuit, after years of hearing nothing but good things about it! Can confirm that the rumors were true... this restaurant is phenomenal! We came on a busy Sunday morning without a reservation and waited 15 minutes till we got the text that our table was ready (they said it would be a 15-20 minute wait and it was exactly that). The place is relatively small but still spacious enough. They need more space to accommodate all the poppin' clientele they have! The food was *chef's kiss* - I got the north side scrambler which is egg whites with chicken sausage, avocado, spinach, goat cheese, and tomato. I absolutely loved it and would get it again when I come back. My sister got the Cinnaholic French toast which was a summer special, and she DEVOURED them. Very affordable, too; average ranged around $11 per dish. The food was delicious and I can't wait to try other things from the menu. Service here is great, everyone was running around because it was a full house and a busy Sunday morning. Our server was so sweet! Our food came fast , our water was constantly filled, and our table was always clean. The bussers, servers, and hosts were all awesome! Super cute place with yummy food and good service. Come here for breakfast or lunch, you won't regret it!

When you go to a place called Honey Biscuit, you sorta have to get some biscuits, right?? Well that's exactly what we did. Upon entering we were greeted promptly and seated outside. It was a nice cool morning and the patio here is very inviting. They also have a small covered outdoor section which was full but very cute, and unique for a breakfast spot. Honey Biscuit has a full complement of drinks, including iced coffees and Bloody Marys. I went with the coffee, since I saw they were selling it at the hostess station. My girlfriend's Dirty Chai iced drink was perhaps the best part of our meal. It has a shot of espresso and is topped with ground nutmeg. Super tasty! We each ordered a different dish but both got variations on the biscuit. I went with the Biscuits and Gravy as it's a dish I've had multiple places, so I thought it would be a good standard to judge against. Unfortunately it came up very short in my opinion. There's not nearly enough punch to the seasoning here and although the biscuits were okay they didn't blow my socks off like I had hoped. My eggs were also made over-easy instead of over-medium which was another let down. The house made potatoes were alright, and that's where I find myself settling in at a rating of 3/5 for Honey Biscuit. While the atmosphere was nice and the service was quite good, the food just didn't hit the target for me. Honey Biscuit does a lot of the little things right, but missed the mark in my opinion on the main course.

And the music seemed similar to a club beat but not obnoxiously loud. Service The service was great. Our server gave us some recommendations and the staff seemed pretty nice. The food itself did not take too long to come out. Also, when there was a mistake with one of the orders, it was taken care of without any issues. Food Fried potatoes This was a recommended side. The potatoes themselves were crispy with a fluffy middle. It came with a spicy mayo type of dipping sauce which tasted good other than the fact that dipping the potatoes in it did not really get that much sauce on them. I would recommend this side dish. French onion grilled cheese The French onion grilled cheese is a very tasty dish. It has the sweetness of the caramelized onion and nice cheese pull. It is a rich dish so eating cause food fatigue. We got it with bacon. It was good but not really necessary. Crispy chicken sandwich This is the chicken sandwich seen on tiktok. The cutlet is thick and it was fried with a light coating. The chicken sandwich was juicy. I think mine might have needed a little more seasoning (my own preference). Overall The scratchboard kitchen is a nice place to go and have a bite to eat. It has a nice array of food and drink options. I would recommend at least trying the food and enjoying the ambiance and service.

After waiting more than 1.5 hours, I called to check the status and found out that my order had not even been prepared. I don't know who I spoke with on the phone, but instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told that I could simply cancel my order. What frustrated me most was the explanation I received: "Sorry, this app doesn't work well." The representative showed little interest in solving the problem. Apparently, the app worked perfectly when it charged my credit card, but when it came to processing and delivering my order, suddenly the app was the issue. Delays can happen, but customers should be informed instead of being left waiting with no updates. I still didn't receive my order after two hours. The customer service was awful, and the lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating. The restaurant is decorated very nicely, they put a lot of thought in colors and decor. Our waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable, I appreciated her input. I ordered coffee and my cup was never left empty. They have a really sweet man who comes around and tops off your coffee cups. They have specials and a kids menu too. The bathroom latches are way too high for a child to lock the door, but they do have a fold down changing table in the woman's restroom. (Not in the stall) They do have high chairs for toddlers. I actually need a chair to rest my leg on because I cannot bend my right knee. Our waitress was very nice about it... however a man came up to me and told me it was a fire hazard to have a chair in the aisle... so what about the kids high chairs? The chair was completely pushed under the table... so I had no choice but to put my foot up on the other side of the booth (which I was avoiding). Also the booth cushion is not attached so when you lean on it it comes up... making it very hard for a handicapped person like me to get in and out of a booth. other than that our experience was enjoyable. My husband ordered the corned beef hash breakfast. It came with Corned beef Hash, 2 eggs (he ordered his scrambled) diced potatoes or hashed browns (he picked diced potatoes) and toast or pancakes. That is a lot of food for him, so I am going to eat his pancakes. I also ordered two eggs over easy off the sides menu. The portion sizes are large. My husband's scrambled eggs looked more like 3 eggs and not two. The food was nice and hot and tasty. Highly recommended dining here if you're in the area. Will be back.
