Not the best experience at Honey Biscuit unfortunately. We were seated promptly on a Monday around noon, and our waitress was pleasant and helpful. The vibes were warm and calm, and the menu was extensive which got us excited! Unfortunately the food was just really sub par on this visit. The Reuben sandwich came with meat that was somewhat slimy, and very little kraut/cheese. Quite balanced and really just unappealing. The skillet was interesting, but it had too much going on and was again texturally strange (perhaps too liquidly? Haha). The burger was reported as average, so I can't say much more about that dish. I will say that the pancakes were quite good! Hoping that this was just an off day, so we will likely return to try again! read more

Food is fantastic. The outdoor covered section is nice. It's comfortable and it doesnt get too hot outside. Theres a huge skylight window too so it's bright even though it's covered. Coffee is not worth it. I had the goat omelet. It comes with caramelized onions, bacon, and spinach inside. This omelet was super tasty. The omelet is very large so I took half if it home. It reheated well the following day. I also shared a biscuit and gravy with my husband. He had the corned beef hash. Food was worth the visit. He ordered a latte but it tasted very watered down. More of a 4.5/5. Tried Honey Biscuit for the first time today and generally had a pleasant experience. The ambiance was good. The restaurant is spacious and cozy. The waiters and table bussers were nice. However, I had a slight issue at the beginning of my meal. My sister's coffee mug had an old lipstick stain that wasn't washed off properly. I called the waitress over immediately and we asked her to give my sister a new mug. The waitress apologized and gave us a new mug. I felt the waitress handled this incident appropriately and in a professional manner. Despite this misstep, the rest of the meal was simply divine. I ordered a classic eggs Benedict that came with house potatoes. The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked. The Canadian bacon was of great quality, and the English muffin was thick and well toasted. As a result, the English muffin did not get soggy when the egg yolk started running. Most places have flimsy English muffins, so it was a pleasant surprise. My favorite part of the meal though was the crispy potatoes. These potatoes were very crispy and flavorful. Most breakfast restaurants usually have very mushy house potatoes and this was a very welcome change. My sister ordered two sunny side up eggs, potatoes, and chocolate chip pancakes. She said her eggs were cooked perfectly. I tried some of her pancakes and they had the right amount of sweetness. I had a wonderful time here. While I forgive them for the lipstick stain, I can't forget it and is still a factor in my rating. read more

Visiting here for the first time on a weekday morning, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the shared parking lot was very full, so was lucky to find parking on the street that is free for a couple of hours. It was not busy when you walked in so we were seated very quickly services. Quick food is just as quick to come out as well. Portions are fair not overly generous though. I would say there might be some room for presentation however, flavors were definitely on point and service was very good at refilling coffees and waters. And they definitely didn't rush us out considering that they weren't busy. I would come back again and try more items on the menu as the menu is quite extensive. I finally checked out this local breakfast eatery, Honey Biscuit, after years of hearing nothing but good things about it! Can confirm that the rumors were true... this restaurant is phenomenal! We came on a busy Sunday morning without a reservation and waited 15 minutes till we got the text that our table was ready (they said it would be a 15-20 minute wait and it was exactly that). The place is relatively small but still spacious enough. They need more space to accommodate all the poppin' clientele they have! The food was *chef's kiss* - I got the north side scrambler which is egg whites with chicken sausage, avocado, spinach, goat cheese, and tomato. I absolutely loved it and would get it again when I come back. My sister got the Cinnaholic French toast which was a summer special, and she DEVOURED them. Very affordable, too; average ranged around $11 per dish. The food was delicious and I can't wait to try other things from the menu. Service here is great, everyone was running around because it was a full house and a busy Sunday morning. Our server was so sweet! When you go to a place called Honey Biscuit, you sorta have to get some biscuits, right?? Well that's exactly what we did. Upon entering we were greeted promptly and seated outside. It was a nice cool morning and the patio here is very inviting. They also have a small covered outdoor section which was full but very cute, and unique for a breakfast spot. Honey Biscuit has a full complement of drinks, including iced coffees and Bloody Marys. I went with the coffee, since I saw they were selling it at the hostess station. My girlfriend's Dirty Chai iced drink was perhaps the best part of our meal. It has a shot of espresso and is topped with ground nutmeg. Super tasty! We each ordered a different dish but both got variations on the biscuit. I went with the Biscuits and Gravy as it's a dish I've had multiple places, so I thought it would be a good standard to judge against. Unfortunately it came up very short in my opinion. There's not nearly enough punch to the seasoning here and although the biscuits were okay they didn't blow my socks off like I had hoped. My eggs were also made over-easy instead of over-medium which was another let down. The house made potatoes were alright, and that's where I find myself settling in at a rating of 3/5 for Honey Biscuit. While the atmosphere was nice and the service was quite good, the food just didn't hit the target for me. Ordered delivery from here and the result greatly exceeded expectations. With very reasonable prices, I was quite surprised at the generous portion size I got with my order. Despite not being super hot by the time it arrived at my door, the flavors and textures were still very good and enjoyable. Here's what I tried: Buttermilk pancakes - Super fluffy and has an almost firm sponge texture. Good flavor. Cinnamon swirl pancakes - Exceeded expectations. Even without putting any icing on it, the cinnamon swirl already adds a nice kick of flavor and an almost crispy topping. French toast trio - Super eggy french toast on nice thick slices of bread. I love how I was able to try their delicious banana bread and blueberry bread both at once in a dish, and have it topped with fresh fruit as well. Once again, even without adding whipped cream and marscapone, it was still delicious. Mile high omelette - The omelette is very fluffy with a good flavor from the fresh ingredients, without being too salty. The red potatoes were also cooked nicely and seasoned to perfection. This has been a favorite breakfast place for my wife and me since they opened. However, it has changed over the past 6 months or so. First the price increase. Whatever, this is happening everywhere so I get it. However, charging $4 for basic ice tea is ridiculous! But, over the past couple months, the portion sizes have been reduced. I typically get the skillet and the past few times the portion size was half of what it used to be. I keep thinking it's the exception but it seems to be the rule here lately. Sorry HB, we'll still come for breakfast but nowhere as frequently as we used to. You may get away with higher prices and smaller portions for for awhile but eventually it will catch up to you. read more

Quickly noticed the weird layout of the place(U-shaped) with two booths by the entrance but did like having tables outside for patio seating. Based on their reviews I was expecting the food to be excellent but it was just mediocre overall. My pot roast skillet was rather small in comparison to most places & barely any pot roast meat in my dish. My wife's bacon was all burned & she ordered 3 sides of it to share with the kids.
