This is one of my favorite places to come for breakfast. The staff is always so kind and attentive to their customers. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. Our server Evan was attentive and friendly. He made sure our food and drinks orders were precise. The kitchen made a small mistake. Evan made sure it was corrected immediately. Great location, spacious and clean dining area, nice size fireplace in the center, great to sit close by on a cold day. My food has always came out hot and freshly made.

The restaurant has been updated. There is a bright orange sign outside. The inside has new flooring, tables and some of the walls were redone with wood. It makes a huge difference as it's much brighter and lighter inside. I meet a girlfriend here as it's about halfway for us both. She is gluten free and loves the options that she can choose from. Brittany was our server and she did a great job. She was patient as we kept talking and didn't even look at the menu! I ordered a skillet as always. The veggie skillet without onion but added chicken sausage. It was made perfectly. On the table there was a bottle that looked like hot sauce that maybe was homemade? There wasn't a label on the bottle. It wasn't your typical Cholula sauce. It was a bit thicker and a bit spicy. But tasted very good. The other thing we were happy about is that they don't give you leftovers Styrofoam containers. We both like to recycle and know that Styrofoam is nearly impossible to recycle. They actually put your leftovers in metal containers with a plastic top. Both which are recyclable. Nice that they are so environmentally aware. Highly recommend!

Stopped in around noon on a Saturday. The place was about half full. Our waiter was very friendly, but didn't really check on us after we got our food to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. Started with a pumpkin spice latte, which was great! I had the Mexican skillet which had great flavor. I do wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. They seemed pretty soggy. One of my eggs was a bit overcooked as well. My friends had the breakfast poutine and the veggie skillet. Both said the food was good, but nothing special. The pancake side was very dry and lacked any kind of flavor. We had to flag down someone else's server to bring us some syrup. Overall, the experience was fine but no reason to return.

I can't believe I've never wrote a review about this place. Honey Jam Cafe is probably our family's favorite place to eat, especially for breakfast. The food is the most flavorful & of the most highest quality. The service has always been great. The whole staff is great & attentive to any needs you may have. I must give a shout out to Diane, who is our favorite server The restaurant recently had remodel inside & is more brighter than before. We've been enjoying the food here for many years & I can't recommend this place enough.

Dined here on a Saturday morning and fully expected to have a waitlist to be seated. Surprise, we were able to be seated immediately and our hostess was very pleasant. There are so many options to choose from. The regular go to items I often gravitate to and some with a twist. I selected to California Scrambler. It has chicken, avocado, bacon crumbles and cheese that all complimented one another. The entree came with grits, but I didn't like them. They were watery and lacked flavor. My husband's grits had body and were the complete opposite of mine. The thick cut raisin bread was fresh and delicious and complimented my meal perfectly. I found the portions to be generous and everything came out as desired. They have their own parking lot and we had no issues finding anywhere to park. Contactless pay, credit cards and cash are accepted. They do offer a military discount with appropriate ID. There are alcoholic drink options here if you've like to day drink. This is a good place for group dining, and solo diners as well. They have booths and four top tables and I'm unsure if they have high chairs in case you have small children with you. Overall, I'd dine here again if in the area. it was a positive dining experience.

My colleagues and I very much enjoy our brunch this morning. Each one of us found our food and/or drinks very good. One of the breakfast choices was the biscuits and gravy. That was a whole lot of food. The biscuits were tasty not doughy. The gravy was plentiful and smothering. Perfect taste. You can't get enough gravy! The second meal was equally good. The omelette was packed with veggies and sausage. The hash browns were fantastic. They were not greasy so you knew you were not going to regret ordering them later on that night! I got a strawberry and banana smoothie. Loved it. More than I needed to consume, but somehow found a way to get it done! I think that means I get dessert! Super friendly waitress. A very clean restaurant with neat decor.

This breakfast and lunch spot has all the classic food and beverage items. They do have seasonal/daily specials on a different menu as well. I was here with a group of 4 on Sunday around 10am and I'd say that is the LATEST time to get there if trying to avoid a wait time. We were seated right away and within minutes others were walking in and given a 20-30 min wait. The drinks and food items are OK. We all had coffees and they were fine, nothing exciting or bad to report. I tried the nova lox platter and it was alright. It had everything there to be a lox platter, just wasn't anything special. My fiance had the smoked salmon Benedict and it was also fine. I thought it was heavy on the hollandaise, but he didn't seem to mind. Honey Jam cafe won't be my go to spot however I won't axe it if someone suggests it for a brunch outing.

Brunch with the family. We were seated immediately even thought they were busy and parking lot close to capacity. Waitress was by our side in less than 5 minutes for our drink order All in all this was a great experience. Staff were so polite and attentive. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner. And our waitress stopped by to check on us a few times. The food came out rather quickly - we were not done with our soups and it arrived, really good speed especially since we had a toddler with us We did here a few birthday celebrations and quite a few people had Xmas gifts. So this is definitely a nice restaurant to have a celebration. The place was so lively and guest seemed to be enjoying themselves. Pricing was on point for per person cost.

I've spent years searching for the perfect deli sandwich. Every time I'd find a place I liked,…read moresomething would eventually disappoint me. Maybe the bread wasn't fresh, the lunch meat tasted processed, or the quality just wasn't consistent. Tony & Tina's Deli is the first place that has truly become my go-to. I absolutely love their subs, especially the Brayden. I always order the large, and it's packed with so much fresh meat that I can give a generous portion of the turkey to my toddler as a snack and still have a full sandwich left for myself. That's saying something! Their potato salad is also outstanding. It tastes homemade, not like something scooped out of a mass-produced container. It's exactly the kind of potato salad you picture enjoying on a hot summer day. What really sets Tony & Tina's apart is the customer service. The owners genuinely care about their customers. I've only had one issue, and it wasn't even their fault. It was a delivery service problem. They personally responded and made sure everything was handled professionally and promptly. If you haven't been there yet, give them a try. Grab a sandwich, check out the desserts, and if you're feeling lucky, they even have gaming machines. If you're busy and work from home like I do, their app makes ordering incredibly easy. Tony & Tina's has earned a customer for life!

The beef was ordered cheesey, spicy, dry. I don't know if their giardinere was house made or not but it was decent. The beef itself was again, good (it's not Jays or Johnnies; I'll put it that way). It was nicely filled. They definitely don't use Turano rolls and I found the bread to be dense and not absorbant of the jus. The reason that I order it dry is because usually there's enough moisture in there to soak through the Turano roll without it being dipped but this was not so it was actually bone dry. Sure, I've lived here for 45 years so you can call me a purist but if I had known it would have been that dry I definitely would have had it dipped. I'll order from here again and it may help if I were there in person.

Today was a good experience. I just worked out and called to ask about the dress code. No dress code, I'll be right there! I walked in and was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and gave me time to decide without feeling rushed even as I changed my mind a couple times. I ordered the salmon and Mad Rose to drink. The drink has a lot going on and wasn't for me. It reminded me of a cinnamon orange tea, citrus and spicy. For dinner, I waffled on a couple fish dishes, but went with the salmon. It has a nice, crunchy glaze on it with some nice citrus flavors that weren't overbearing. I wasn't sure how the risotto would taste with the orange, but it worked. I was asked several times how I was doing and how my drinks and food were. Dining solo, I get ignored at times with subpar service. Not tonight access I appreciate that. I would recommend based on service and the dish I had. I will return to try more.

I ordered from Entourage Downers Grove and was honestly impressed with how well everything held up for delivery. The standout for me was the lobster bisque. It arrived at the perfect temperature, which is pretty impressive for delivery. The bisque was rich and luscious without feeling overly heavy, and the basil oil added a nice brightness that balanced the creaminess beautifully. It also had a generous amount of lobster, including several large chunks, and was a very solid portion overall. The filet mignon sliders were another highlight. Each slider had a substantial piece of filet mignon topped with pickled onions, microgreens, and horseradish cream on brioche buns. The onions and horseradish added enough acidity and bite to balance the richness of the beef without overpowering it. I also tried the Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, and rice noodles, served with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Everything tasted very fresh, and the sauces complemented the generously stuffed rolls nicely. My only small critique is that cutting them in half made for a prettier presentation, but made them a little awkward to dip and eat. Overall, this was a surprisingly strong delivery experience, and I would absolutely order from them again, or better yet, make it over to the restaurant itself next time I'm in the area.

It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. And this time, I'll be sure to dine in and give another review of it to see how much I like them better.
