    Shrimp Burger

Very much a top food spot at Temple. Gone here for years and it's always great. So this is a big summary review. Ingredients always fresh. Crispest lettuce you'll ever get from a truck. Best fries and consistently cooked perfect. Chicken is CRISPY! Juicy! Chicken wrap or chicken & waffles are a go to. My favorite thing to get will always be the shrimp burger. So freaking delicious and filling. I 100% would return just for it post-graduation. A very popular truck so if you're coming during peak, text your order ahead of time or prepare to wait. Considering the volume of customers though, they move at a reasonable pace and maintain quality.

This food truck is located very near to my parking lot at Temple U so I thought I'd give it a shot sometime. They always seem full and rightfully so, because their burger was very good. My order took approximately 5 minutes to be ready which is always great, and the ingredients in the burger seemed fresh enough, which for me is wonderful. Aside from that, the fries seemed a bit soaked and too oily for me so I couldn't really eat them, I tried one and that was enough for me. Either way, I went there for a good burger and that's what I got so I was very pleased.

I was visiting Temple University, and I wanted to try a bunch of the food trucks. Honey Truck blew everyone else away! First, off, the person taking the orders and handling the transactions was very sweet. Second, the food was AMAZING! I got the Chicken and Waffles, as well as the Rock Shrimp Burger and Fries. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I lowkey wish this was an actual restaurant, instead of a food truck, so I can come to dine in all the time. I can't wait to come back and visit TU.

This food truck is at the corner of 12 and Norris across Temple School of Engineering. Line can be long during lunch time. After placing the order you are given a number and your number will be called when it's ready. I had veggie burger which I asked to be turned into wrapped. It's really good. It has spicy mayo and sweet and sour sauce with some greens and fresh avocado. Chicken and waffle is delicious too. I took a star down because the wait is so long for my order. My boss who ordered after me got her food before me.

Really yummy fried chicken and waffles! Stopped by with a friend who was a Temple undergrad who raved about how often she'd order from this food truck. Ordering by text is very simple and I highly recommend it to avoid waiting in line. As of Nov 2021, it is 267-371-3965. Just simply state what you'd like to order and they'll confirm it with you. I also ordered their crispy chicken wrap and that was really delicious too. I would recommend those two for sure.

i would say one of the better trucks on campus. sandwiches are always big and juicy but one downside is the pricing. it's a little overpriced for what you're getting.

Efficient service and some of the best chicken I've ever had! So easy to grab after class because it's right on Temple's campus.

The best chicken and waffles on campus hands down. Their burgers are delicious too. Everything is reasonably priced and fulfilling.

Would definitely recommend this food truck over any other places on campus. The burgers are so filling and you can't beat the price.

The ordering system is fairly straightforward with screens at the entry showing the full menu, and further down 2 kiosks to place and pay for your order. If you order alcohol (margarita or beer), you need to present ID to the employees after placing the order. They run a very reasonable daily happy hour from 4-6pm! Today I tried the special (fish taco) and was blown away by how well the taco was cooked. The fish was tender, not overcooked, and very flavorful. The accompanying sauce, slaw, and other toppings were light and balanced the fish perfectly. I'm not a huge fan of fish tacos, but this one might convert me! I also ordered an old staple, the tuna dip, which was just like I remembered. My only disappointment was the margarita didn't come with the salt rim I ordered. As a fast casual concept, it's great for takeout for locals or tourists from the art museum area!

The fish tacos are my favorite. All the tacos have good little extras on them like pickled onions and avocado. That makes them extra special! Buena Onda also has an excellent happy hour! Tacos are three dollars margaritas are $6, chips and pico de gallo $1. Happy hour is every day 4 to 6. Seating is inside and outside. It has a lot of natural light. The bathrooms were very clean.

We ordered a Pulled Chicken composition and Philly Cheesesteak Sammy on the way out of the beer den after purchasing a 4-pack of home grown suds. While the Belgian Tripel went of $23, the amazingly tasty sliders were boxed expertly for $8 for a deuce, prepared the way you want it. Ample sauces, peppers, onions, relishes and melty cheese to beat the band. When we arrived home five minutes later, we broke open the grub and brew at the kitchen table and went off devouring the solids and guzzling the liquids. Really, the Stuff'd Bunz were terrific; plenty of flavors and textures to entertain the tastebuds, and leave you wanting more. Strong BBQ base under sours and sweets and crunchies, held together by something that reminded of a potato bun. Even the mock Cheesesteak was a big chew hoot and a half. Gooey cheese over finely chopped beef, with onion mixed in. Not the Prince of Steaks, but a damn good facsimile. Washed all that down with the expensive amber ale, and we were sated, if not poorer for the experience. When Covid is defeated, I look forward to hanging out at the bar and enjoying the wonderful repast to the fullest. Until then, takeaway is the only safe way to go.

I know what this is, this is a friggin Philly Block Party ! This is Night Market that invaded Callowhill St. in Northern Liberties like U2 did in "The Streets Have no Name". When Philly does a Night Market nothing come close to anything you've ever experienced. NYC, D.C. Bean town, you guys are second rate compared to this block party of all blocks parties. Man I do love these types of festivities that Philly puts on every year. This being the second Night Market event this year, this was a whole new venue for this area. Northern Liberties got a taste of what 2 and a half blocks of 70 food trucks, beer tents of Yards and so forth keeping the masses well hydrated and fed. A stage set up playing some of the local flavors that can be heard by Vine St. Expressway. Boom now this is a friggin party! Now if you haven't found anything to satisfy your curiosity from Mamma's Meatballs (Spicy FTW) to homemade Waffles completely covered in Nutella or chicken, even pork belly, down to that famous Mac and Cheese truck. If you haven't found anything at one of these, then I don't know what to tell you. Banging Taco and Empanada trucks , to Korean BBQ that will make your eyes open to a crab cake so big you'd think you're on the Deadliest Catch. Night Market is the perfect set up for neighborhoods to shine with the surrounding business , eateries and watering holes to get recognized as you walk the streets. All my favorite trucks were there: mom moms polish truck, which I drool over their Perogies and Galumpkis. The Mac Mart truck which I'm in love with their creamy cheesy amazing Mac with the best toppings, and totally worth the super long line. The tot cart, although I feel the cheese was a tad skimped this time, and the cheese curd truck. I tried some new things this time: the Arepas truck was really good, we tried the guac & chicken, the beef, and the pork. I loved the Bluecoat Gin tent.. I didn't remember seeing them at the last night market, so that was great. And the Cider guys with that delicious 10% dry cider is amazing! My only complaint is there were much less beer tents than south street, so the beer lines were so long it deterred me from drinking at all. We ended up going into Prohibition tap room for beers cause the lines outside were just way too long. Get more beer tents!! But overall, amazing event as usual!
