He lied and said he sent emails to her when he never did and Jaime used his inability to contact the first violinist as a means to lie to the bride and groom and convince them that the first violinist the family personally chose for their wedding day was unprofessional. Instead of taking accountability for his lack of communication and lack of professionalism to work with different races and cultures, just because he had a racial bias against her, he made up stories about her and degraded her based off the color of her skin.
