Perfect choice for a fresh healthy make your own stir fry or salad. I seem to choose the salad (less carbs). The ingredients are super fresh. Love the free range chicken, beets and jalapeño dressing! The place is clean and everyone is so friendly. Getting a meal here is so much better than saladworks since the veggies, meats etc are actually fresh and do no taste like &@$?!. Average. Definitely overpriced. I enjoyed my curry noodles but they reminded me of the ones you can buy as part of a lunch kit in the international aisle at the supermarket (you open the "fresh" bag of noodles, mix sauce in and microwave it). I'm saying there was nothing special about this stir fry to set it apart from cheaper supermarket options. I do appreciate that the pieces of chicken tasted fresh, as opposed to being freeze dried or overly processed. I was not pleased with the yogurt my most recent time there (back in December they had a really good seasonal one). Definitely could have thrown berries on plain yogurt at home for much less. And at home I wouldn't be so cheap with the honey and whipped cream. For $8 you'd think they could be a little more generous with yogurt toppings. Not blaming this location in particular. The portion sizes are likely chain-wide. This location is clean and the staff seems friendly. The cane sugar soda machine is also a nice touch, so I will add another star for all the things I did appreciate. I don't need to go out of my way to drop $30 here though (meals for 3 people, no drinks). Fresh hand-stretched noodles in Chinatown are half the price and 4x the flavor. read more

Usually I LOVE honeygrow. their food is always great and service is absolutely wonderful, but my past visit was disappointing. An older white woman was my server/cashier and had poor hygiene when it came to the food. After repeatedly touching money with her hands, she went back to help another worker cut cilantro - she proceeded to use her bare hands that had JUST touched dirty money. She not only did that, but she came back to finish ringing up a costumer, than walked over to my bowl and stuck her fingers in my bowl to flip it. I am disappointed by how this worker did her job, especially since all my experiences have been great. I do still love honeygrow, but I would highly recommend you speak up if you see someone do such as this. read more

I just attended a tasting event with my two children ages 9 and 7. My son loved the rice noodle stir fry with honey bbq sauce. We were able to get a bowl of plain noodles for my daughter who wants to add a couple of vegetables next time. I loved the spicy red coconut curry. It was great how my kids could customize their bowls. And the honey bar was a hands down winner! The service was outstanding for the tasting event and the food was ready quickly. When honey grow first opened I loved it! I went frequently but haven't been there since the summer. My most recent visit was a saturday evening. There were at least 7 people working and only a few people there who ordered ahead of me. I watched the staff mess up orders and then get very irritated when the customers asked them to remake it. You order on a tablet. There are create-your-own options as well as pre-made selections that you can make. I tried the stir-fry with whole wheat noodles, chicken, veggies, and sesame garlic sauce. The screen said this sauce was a little spicy so I got it on the side in case I couldn't eat it. It ended up being mild to me and I detect spice quickly. The cashier was friendly, but didn't put the side of sauce in my bag until I prompted him, so be sure to ask to make sure everything was there. My order was made correctly. The serving size is perfect for lunch. I am not sure about paying on the tablet, because I paid with cash, but apparently if you pay with a card, you can do so on the tablet itself. I also used the bathroom while I was here and it was large and clean. I will definitely be coming here again! I visited the location two more times since my last review. The fist time, I ordered a custom salad which I loved. The strawberry dressing is delish. They neglected to put my order in a to-go container so that had to be fixed, but other than that, it was good. The next time I visited, I ordered the same stir fry. Same delicious meal. I also asked to sample the smoothie. It was good, but wish it was customizable, because I didn't like the taste of the mint in it, so I wouldn't buy a whole cup. It is pre-made in a smoothie machine. Terrible. Today was my last day going here. They ALWAYS get your order wrong. I ordered a To Go salad and they left out the two ingredients I paid extra for. Tried honeygrow today for the first time and it was great. I love the touch screens for ordering. Makes it easy and fast. The place was packed but I didn't have to wait for a screen to order. The options were great - plenty of gf and vegan options and build your own make it completely customizable. It was peak lunch time and was very busy so I had to wait about 15 min for my food, which was expected. The woman running the counter was really on top of things and doing it with a smile and a great attitude, which is surprisingly rare these days. I ordered a coconut curry stir fry. While it was very good, hot and prepared well, there really wasn't much flavor or sauce. I didn't really taste any curry, just jalapeño. I ended up adding a little soy sauce to give it some more flavor. The only other negative comment I have is that while I was waiting I was watching the staff make the food and the girls up front making the honey bowls and salads were wearing gloves, but the two men in the back making the stir fry were not. I watched one of them wipe his nose with his bare hand and continue cooking. Kinda gross. Overall though it was great for "fast food" so I will go back. read more

I waited & waited for this place, I was SO excited, psyched about the philosophy.... and then sorely disappointed. First, no kids menu. I feel that this will make it impossible for me to visit regularly, I am not paying $11 for a stir fry that my son is only going to eat a small amount of. Second, I was served a Cobb salad that was missing the egg & avocado. When I brought it up to the counter, I was asked to show my receipt (which makes no sense because you hand it to them), and then it was implied that I had ordered it that way or maybe even taken it out. Rather than a quick apology & remedy, I was subjected to a search for my ticket and made to wait. Finally, avocado was added but it was more than half spoiled with large brown spots throughout. I had to ask again for the egg. No big apology, just a "sorry" and my food handed back to me. At this point I just wanted to leave. I work in the same shopping center as Honeygrow and this place is JAM PACKED and WAS awesome! I have gone at least twice a week since they opened and would have given them a solid 5 stars, but the past few times have been super disappointing. I would have liked to have spoken to a manager about my experiences or reached out via email without blowing up their spot, but the shop is WAY too busy to speak to anyone and there is no contact forms to be found online. So sorry honey grow--I hope we can change this back to a 5 star! I LOVE how fast and healthy this place is, but perhaps the employees need to slow down just a bit to get the orders right. First off, both the falafel and the tempura chicken are GROSS--salty and hard as a rock! Last night I was so excited to eat my salad with grilled chicken, yet the WAS NO CHICKEN! I had to scramble 2 eggs on the side to get the protein that I needed. The one time I ate in, the dressing was wrong and it was WAY overdressed after inputting that I wanted "light dressing"-- looked around to no avail, but no one seemed to be in charge. 3 times now I have had to throw my salad away and that can be very costly. Wow! Loved this place! I had the stir fry and my friend had the salad. Both were very good. There were two things that warrants the 5 stars: the super friendly staff and the honey bar dessert! Two different staff members came over to check on us and ask what thought. They were very happy to let me try all of the different honeys even though they were very busy. I decided to give this place a try after reading previous reviews. The place was very modern . Ordering on the kiosk was quick and easy . I ordered CYO stir fry with the spicy garlic sauce . It was delicious , very flavorful and had a nice kick to it . The only downside is that it's a lil expensive for a small takeout box of noodles. read more

I stopped in and got the Spicy Garlic Stir Fry with Jalapenos for me and one without pineapple for my boyfriend. It had a decent kick to it. The serving size was large and the equivalent of what you would get at a Chinese food restaurant except I didn't feel that gross regretful feeling after eating it! Glad I now have a place to satisfy my cravings without having to compromise my waist. The price doesn't bother me as I eat at chipotle a lot and its comparable in pricing. To me I would rather pay the extra for a healthier option. The food was prepared very quickly and the staff was extremely busy but still friendly. I came in last week, Friday 6/2/17 for the first time around 6:30pm. I couldn't believe how crowded Honeygrow was! I went up to take my order with my wife and couldn't help but notice how friendly the staff was, especially the closing manager. He always made sure to tell his staff how good of a job they are doing, as well as making his rounds to every table to make sure the customers were doing well and if they needed anything, to let him know. My true rating of Honeygrow would be 3.5 stars. What I like about Honeygrow is that it provides people with the ability to get healthy "fast" food on the go and at a convenient location. I like the ordering and payment system as well...2 thumbs up for being technologically advanced. What I don't like about Honeygrow is that it can be expensive for what you are getting and they really get you if you modify your order or choose the "create your own" option...you literally start paying for every single item, so a salad can balloon to $11-$15. I believe this location needs to work on their speed also - they have a ton of people behind the line and they can be incredibly slow. This is another one of those places that gets SLAMMED between about 11:45 and 1:00 during the week, so I would recommend coming earlier or later than that. Oh and I really, really wish they offered online ordering so I could place the order from my office and just come and pick it up without having to wait in line. read more

A nice kick to the sauce, plenty of veggies and chicken too. Portions are big, food is customizable (proteins, sauces, AMOUNT of sauce, veggies, rice/noodles, etc.). It's an open kitchen so you can see exactly what is going on. Touch screen kiosks to order so there is no miscommunication on what you want.
