This place was amazinggg! Very good quality food & bowl is filling. I was surprised it was so good for take out food actually. The prices were $. They were quick with everything. They have a parking lot. Food tasted fresh and good quality. They have different proteins like chicken, salmon, tofu and steak. They have spicy options too. All of the bowls come with sauteed zucchini and broccoli and veggies. I also ordered a side of their crab rangoon, which were delishh and a good size/portion too! First time trying this place out for lunch. Ordered through DoorDash, the food arrived piping hot. First impression, it smelled divineeeee. I ordered the spicy mad chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles and mixed veggies which consisted of broccoli, carrots, cabbage & zucchini. It was absolutely delicious, they sent a side little ramekin with teriyaki sauce that added that splash of sweetness to the dish. In my opinion the dish was not really on the sweet side as I imagine teriyaki to be but I wasn't mad at it, like I mentioned, the little side of sauce they sent was the exact sweetness it was missing. The spice level I would say was at like a 7/10, it definitely made my nose run lol but if you love spice I'd 100% recommend this bowl. I feel like this bowl over some white rice would've put it over the top for me, as I love rice with just about everything but for lunch this was a perfect balance. The rice to protein+veggies ratio is off. The money you spend on a bowl here literally translates to a bowl with 90% rice and 10% protein and veggies (MAX). I didn't finish my bowl but even when I was done with it I had enough rice left to feed 2 other people. I had originally commented that the prices here seemed very cheap but after ordering I now realize it's because you're literally just buying rice. Now, the weird thing is that you'd think that at least the rice would be good right? But (at least for my bowl) it was made WAAAAAY TOO dry. Maybe the person in charge of cooking rice had an off day, but if I've just got a bowl of rice, I wish it'd at least have been cooked well. The actual taste of the food was okay. Like... VERY.. OKAY. I then witnessed a customer come in to pick her order - she misread the receipt at the pickup shelf and asked what the status was - the same guy went on a tangent rudely telling her that it was there and to read the whole receipt, then started repeatedly calling the friendly customer a bitch to his peers after she walked out. If you see this place, please do not think twice. I stopped in because I was intrigued. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered their large spicy chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and veggies. The portion was huge and the price was great! The spicy chicken stated that it was addictive, and they are spot on. The mixture of sweet and spicy creeps up as you eat more but you can't stop. I have ordered from here many times and I receive a great teriyaki bowl every single time. I typically go for the standard teriyaki chicken, which is cooked perfectly to keep the inside juicy. I'm also partial to the steak, which usually has a nice char going to give it flavor. I've ordered both through grubhub and in person, and my orders are promptly completed regardless of the method. The only thing I would suggest is having the option to put in a note to request things like "more veggies than rice" in the online ordering system. I see there are a lot of bad reviews from over 6 months ago so I'll post a new one. Most of the reviews in the past two years mention slowness. I just had a really good two protein bowl through DoorDash and it came fast and hot from 8 miles away. I've been craving good chicken teriyaki over rice since a place I liked in center city closed about five years ago. They use real chicken thighs, and the flavors are good (maybe a touch sweet but hey it's teriyaki for the masses). Great char grilled flavor and well cooked brown rice. The veggies were still crisp too, not over cooked. I will order again. Give them a try, they don't deserve such a low average rating. read more

I enjoyed my teriyaki chicken it was cooked just the way I like it. I liked that I had the option of dark or white chicken. The bowl was enough for me to eat some for lunch and some for dinner. I also picked up some salmon for my husband and he enjoyed his meal as well. If I had to say anything negative. The minor growing pains will get worked out I'm sure (greeting customers, especially ones who ordered online so they know what to do). But on to the food. The chicken pot stickers were ok. The egg rolls were good, just a little greasy. The meals themselves were really good. I was not expecting the flavors and quality and amount of food. The white and brown rices were good. My experience has been a bit of a mixed bag, but on the whole, I definitely like Teriyaki Madness. Keep in mind, they're brand new and most of the people working there seem to be very young. So the fact that, yes, the first day of the grand opening, the service took forever and a day?... Eh. Everyone was nice. That helps. The next day (yes, I came back), my order was ready to go as soon as I got there, so give them a chance! The Chicken Teriyaki is where it's at, preferably with Yakisoba noodles, though the fried rice is also very good. I tried the Tofu, which was fine (it's tofu, whaddya want?), but I have to admit that I was disappointed with the Salmon. You get a good mix of protein, starch, and veggies per order, and at a decent price. It would be nice to get a LITTLE more food - I'd like to be a little more full after spending ~$10, give or take, but I guess that's just how it works, these days (I have a similar issue with Honeygrow, nearby, in that the food is good, but I can't cheaply fill up my bottomless pit of a stomach). The eggrolls are good. I like their selection of sodas - Pepsi products and Dr Pepper! It's yet another good option in an endless list of ones in the Marlton area. The old man yelled at me rudely about sanitation issue. I am packing my own foods is the key point here. Everything I said in my original review is still true! They prepare Teriyaki in the Seattle style, the teriyaki sauce is homemade and is gluten free (but double check for cross contamination if you have an allergy), and everything is great. I am docking them a star because I've tried their fried rice 2-3 times since my original review and it's not that great. I found the rice mushy, which isn't exactly how you want your fried rice to be. To give credit to the Marlton team, I'm not fully convinced this is their fault either -- I feel like this is the fault of how the (steaming) veggies and chicken are served on top of the fried rice, resulting in condensation making the rice messy. It certainly doesn't help matters that due to COVID, I always ate to-go, which would create this effect. They may want to reconsider their serving strategy for fried rice, especially for to-go. I would never call them the most authentic Teriyaki, go to a more traditional Japanese restaurant for that. But, considering their market as a 'Fast Casual' Japanese place, they fit that bill very well. read more

Our meal here had one main issue--the saltiness! The teriyaki sauce was so strong to the point I struggled to finish half of my combination bowl (beef and chicken- salmon was out of stock). Gyoza were okay, deep fried and crispy. It may be better to get the bowls with rice or to ask for light sauce, because with the noodles (which by the way were a $1 up-charge), it was borderline inedible. We ordered food last night and We were greatly disappointed. The chicken was all like choppy full of fat and gristle. Like bottom of the barrel stuff. There was almost no teriyaki sauce on the chicken either in either order. We ordered to large orders with noodles and extra teriyaki chicken for the meal. The noodles were congealed (ick). This cost us over 30 dollars for the two orders too. So it's not a cheap meal Maybe the problem is Ordering through the app? Maybe they can see it and just don't care as much to make the food the same verses someone placing an order in person or on the phone. I've come to this conclusion by experience. We ordered over the phone the first time and man was it so good. The second time we used the app and it wasn't as good. The third time we used the app and the chicken we got was like the chicken you get from the mall "bourbon chicken", just terrible grade chicken. When we have ordered before it was a full slices chicken breast not chopped like rib meat looking full of fat. It also could be maybe the owner was not there at that time and so less care was put into making the food. I have seen this often as well. The pot stickers were good but the sauce tasted like orange cleaner. We dipped them in the sauce you get with the meal and that was good.
