Mediocre food with very inconsistent preparation and execution of dishes. Don't bother ordering anything that is NOT vegetarian--you will get approximately 2 ounces of meat on your stir-fry or salad--for 4 dollars. Good luck finding it hidden in your dish--if you can find it at all. We've ordered from Honeygrow 5 times. On 2 of those occasions they completely messed up the order with missing items and ZERO sauces on flavorless food. On the first order, the manager proactively comped the meal. No such offer later on. Really clean place with friendly staff! I wish I could give 3.5 stars for this place. I got the seasonal menu item (Ginger scallion chicken with egg white noodles) and it was delicious! The menu items are highly customizable and I love that I can order from the tablet. Sometimes I feel rushed/pressured to order in person as I walk down the line to pick the ingredients. You can take your time picking the items you like on the tablet, though the staff were very friendly and helpful, they would be happy to answer questions. My complaint is the price and the portion. I think the portion was small and the price is high (feels even higher with a small portion you get). Of course you can add more if you like for an additional cost but I thought they could be a bit more generous especially with their veggies. I didn't get to try the dessert but it sounded delicious. I would definitely go back again to try other things, though I wish they would either be a bit more generous with their food or lower the price. read more

On a recent trip to Columbus to visit my siblings, we needed a super quick meal because we are deep in baby and toddler land right now. We didn't want the usual fast food and we're looking for something with fresh veggies that wasn't a salad. We stumbled upon honeygrow on DoorDash, and we're excited to see how simple, yet diverse their menu was and what a wide variety of fresh vegetables they offered. My sister and I built our own stirfry with the fresh made noodles, green beans, mushrooms, roasted garlic, cabbage, and a few other vegetables. We tried the sesame soy sauce. Overall, we really liked it. In fact, enough to get it again the next day. The next day we tried the ginger soy dressing and I think I liked that one a bit more because it had a bit of a brightness to it. I'm looking forward to visiting her again so that we can get more honeygrow. read more

What do the kids nowadays say? Mid? This was mid. The food was two-three stars, at least in terms of taste. Service was a four. Everybody was friendly and helpful. It looks like they're overstaffed because they opened recently. They were helping customers work the kiosks, and working hard in the kitchen. The overall experience was a two. The place itself was nice enough, pretty generic, lots of windows, lots of seating. Several kiosks to order from, clearly their preferred choice. But I am sure you can order at the counter, which I probably should have done. The kiosks sucked. Their touch sensitivity needs to be adjusted. You have to touch them just right. Tap too softly, or too hard, and nothing. Someone is going to get pissed and whack it hard and break it. And the menu system was a pain. The music is far too loud. Hard to think. Thankfully, the food came out in about five minutes and was quick to eat, so I was out of there in about 15. I wouldn't have been able to stand the noise any longer. But, I was in a hurry, and the food was fast, so at least that was a plus. And it got me through the next couple of hours. The portion sizes are small. I had heard that the protein allowance was small, so I doubled that up. But four more dollars on a $12 bowl adds up to quite a bit. There were several interesting things on the menu, with bowls, salads, and yogurt cups. I got the five spice bowl. Tiny turkey meatballs, previously frozen, of course. Dry rice, not sticky enough to use the chopsticks with. A little bit of sauce, half a dozen little bits of onion, and maybe 10 small pieces of green beans. With about three times the sauce, the flavor would've been upped, and the rice probably would've been handleable. Plus, it would've given more flavor to the turkey. And more green beans would help the flavor, and give some nutrients. I ate about 2/3 of it, and left. Fountain drinks. Parking in the strip mall. I will not be back. read more

Tried it once before in Akron & liked it. It's a nice addition to Gahanna. Thought the to go portion looked small until I started eating. It's really packed in there! I got the Sriracha Tahini seasonal noodle dish & it was good. They went super light with the mushrooms to my disappointment but were generous in the chicken. I got a make your own dessert but was pretty upset to find out that they had forgotten the cheesecake filling once I got home. It was basically a bunch of fruit with toppings on it. The place is clean overall but the bathroom could use some loving. It wasn't super clean but not terrible. It definitely lacks any sense of warmth or decorations could go a long way. I like that you ordered the computers so you can play around with additions, etc while seeing the price change. I'm shocked a place like this that is geared towards healthier food conscious eating doesn't have any nutritional information online. Just the number of calories the dish has. This was my first time and if I was a local I would try it again. I made my own salad which was tasty but the chicken amount was slim. It left me feeling like I needed more. The service however was top notch. They explained how to order and offered suggestions. The decor was attractive and pleasing to the eye. They might deserve a 4 star. read more

Don't be intimidated if I can do it anyone can do it but still I think you can go down to the cashier and place your order. Also I wasn't going to pull around with trying to make my own so I got a ready-made spicy garlic chicken it was spicy, but it was very good. Lots of noodles not very much chicken at all very low on the protein for $13. I would've expected a little more I would definitely go back again and try something else ordering extra protein is an option but for the price point you should be able to get a decent amount. My wife and I went to try out the new location here in Columbus. I got the sesame garlic noodle and she the garlic chicken noodle. Our first bites were "wow" noodle was chewy and al dente in the perfect way. Sauce was tangy and sweet the whole dish wasn't heavy compared to other noodle dish we've had. Then after the main entree we tried the lime cake cheesecake that was really good it would've been also nice if I added the sugared pecans but I wanted to try just how it was designed. The parking is super tight outside which matches the seating arrangements inside. They've literally got the seating arranged with picnic or park style tables kinda like at Hofbrahaus. So you're eating extremely CLOSE to people you don't necessarily want to eat near as they're looking deep into your eyes as you're eating noodles . To order you have kiosks to make bowls any way you want and one register if you want to pay in cash or something. Now to the food. They have premade arranged bowls with various flavors ranging from $13-$18. Here's the kicker tho...they have all these ADD INS that you can add to your bowl ranging from .59 Cents for some scallions or chestnuts or something on up to $5 for extra protein. I knew this going in and I wanted to be creative so I added like garlic, avocado, extra sauce, crispy onions etc so my base bowl SKYROCKETED to $20. Here's the problem, they put so LITTLE of the up charged items in your bowl that once it's completed they're pretty much INDISTINGUISHABLE. It was good and the portion size was fair. They give you about two small fist sized portions of noodles 2/3rd up from the bottom of the bowl. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you just get one of their base bowl creations, SKIP THE UP CHARGED ADD INS and just pay $4-$6 for MORE PROTEIN because they give you very LITTLE beef, pork, chicken, or shrimp in your bowls. The FOCACCIA BREAD for $1.59 is an absolute JOKE. Why? Because they give you two little pieces of bread that are the size of a CHILDs THUMB and if you put them together it's a long as a teenage index finger DAFUQ! Their dessert bowls are SILLY too. Yes the company photos for these things LOOK GREAT but once you buy a tiny cup for $8 it's kinda a rip off. We bought the brownie cup thingy with whip cream on top thinking it had some sort of pudding or custard at the bottom as a base but it didn't. When we dug into it, it was just a small MEASURING CUP sized portion of RED GRAPES with a whole bunch of chocolate chips, three little chunks of brownies, with whip cream on top! WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS? Even in these terrible economic times think about how many grapes you can get at the grocery store for $8 . Maybe we picked the wrong cup but the one we chose from them is ill-conceived, overpriced, irrational flavor combos, and a waste of time. They've got two flavored drinks that are UNREMARKABLE if you try them on their own but taste GREAT if you mix them both together. Overall it's okay. Customer service was fine and you don't have to deal too much with their staff as everything is ordered at kiosks and once you order they bring it out to you in their SNUGGLY SUPER COZY dining room. Unsure why they chose this geographical location but who TF am I. It's way out in the cut and boondocks of the Columbus but it's so many other places that kinda do this same type of stuff it make you wonder if it's worth the drive, especially if you live on the other side of town. Nevertheless, if you're in the area and you feel like driving several miles EAST of the Easton area then give em a go. read more

I got carry out this evening for three. All orders were accurate in which all were custom stir fry orders. All three of us enjoyed our meals as well. My only gripe is the price of a fountain drink is very high for the size of the cup you receive. I would only get a fountain drink if you are dining in as price does not equate to the cost for carry out. read more

I ordered the Sriracha Tahini stir fry and it was close to $12 for what seemed like a small handful of noodles in a small bowl (dined in). It was delicious, but I felt a bit cheated for the money spent. Also got the Cheesecake dessert, although it was still tasty, it didn't seem worth the $8 price tag. I ordered a build your own stir fry. The ingredients seemed high quality but I was pretty disappointed in the kale (all of the veggie toppings were not great tasting). I've never had raw kale in a bowl before and it really threw off the bowl. The stems were hard and crunchy and it made eating the bowl less enjoyable. The broccoli was also partially cooked which lead to slightly odd textures. For the price ($11.88) I would rather eat elsewhere but I will likely give this place one more chance and try different toppings. The noodles were great though. If the noodles weren't so good I wouldn't bother to try it again. I feel like the portion size could be bigger for the cost.
