Red curry bowl (added broccoli, removed scallions)
    Grace G.

I had the red coconut curry bowl. It was delicious and warming. I was able to add broccoli and remove scallions - customization is easy. The staff was super friendly and really wanted to make sure I had a pleasant experience.

I've been to honeygrow a few times and ordered different things. I like their honey bar or yogurt offering. It is delicious. The food size can be smaller than expected if you get noodles without meat or tofu. It is more like a takeout carton. With meat and tofu, it is a decent size and tasty too. It becomes an actual bowl.

Solid quick service spot serving noodle stir fries and salads. I opted for their popular sesame garlic noodle stir fry, that came with beef, mushrooms, broccoli, and a sesame garlic sauce. I thought every ingredient tasted fresh and not too oily or salty, but still had a good amount of umami, including the vegetables which were nicely seared and had good wok flavor. The noodles were a great Al Dente texture and maintained a nice bite, not soggy or overcooked which was my fear seeing how saucy they were. I would've liked it more if the noodles were more browned and fried into the sauce, but at least they were not soggy. For $14 the portion size is the only thing lacking, it is certainly only enough for one small meal/one person, I just wish I got a bit more as it was tasty, but can't complain about that too much. overall, great experience--food came out quickly, basic flavors that are hard to mess up so it tasted great, they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and it seems they have a good point reward system. Would come back and try their other stir fries, specifically the garlic butter chicken one!

Food is okay.. portion is small tbh and the amount of protein they put is a joke.. I got the chicken shawarma one and besides the small portion the chicken is undercooked

CYO Salad, $20.15?! No no no

Ordered delivery today to give Honeygrow another try. I have to say, we are VERY impressed! I ordered the creat your own salad, create your own stir fry, and creat your own honeybar. Delivery arrived on time. The stir fry was hot. Packed neatly. And I'm so happy it was all delicious!! ****It would be 5 stars if the prices weren't so high.... For the creat your own salad, I chose curly kale, spring mix, spinach, and arugula as my base. I added roasted shrimp, mushrooms, crunchy chick peas, scallions, cilantro, crumbled blue cheese, and Mediterranean herbs. Basil pesto dressing, regular, mixed in/tossed in. Oh-my-goodness!!! So delicious. Portion is decent. I would 100% order this salad again. It's a 8/10. Would be 10/10 if not so expensive. I'd also swap the chick peas for avocado next time. But definitely recommend this combo of ingredients!! For my boyfriend the CYO stir fry, I chose the freshly made egg white noodles as a base. I added edamame, roasted garlic, bacon*, jalapeños, broccoli, baby corn, roasted chicken, parsley, chili flakes, and tossed it all with the spicy garlic sauce, regular. He loved it! It was spicy, just the right amount of heat. He loved the bacon I added, made it unique. He gave it a 9/10. And he's picky lol. So that says a lot to me. I thought it was flavorful. Would be 10/10 if there were less noodles and more other ingredients and just a little less expensive. But we would order it this way again! For the CYO honeybar, I ordered it with a vanilla yogurt base. I added apples, blueberries, strawberries, topped with streusel crumble, wildflower honey, and coconut shavings. We both liked it a lot! 8/10. It's a little too pricey for what it is. The streusel crumble was more of a hard crunch instead of buttery soft crunch. Would've liked more honey. And the yogurt is a little too thin. So would order this again but with the cheesecake base instead and no streusel crumble. It was flavorful and fresh. Still on the more expensive side. My boyfriend said it "tastes like a high end yogurt." Which is what it is lol. Pleasantly surprised today by Honeygrow!! Whoever is working there today (04/21/2023), THANK YOU... and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! ^_^

    Stir Sesame Garlic Stir-fry Platter

Stopped by honeygrow for lunch and it was awesome. The staff are super friendly, and you can walk in and put your order in right on the little kiosk. My wifey and I both got sesame garlic stir fry and it was fantastic. The chicken and shrimp are super juicy and flavorful and the star of the show (the sesame garlic sauce) didn't disappoint!

I paid $17 for a salad that I could have made for $3 at home, the least they could do is not charge for extra dressing. This is all they give you in the first place. From what I recall they used to mix it in the salad. When I askes for a little bit extra I was told I would need to be charged. Nothing like nickel and diming customers.. I'll never return, maybe I'll just go to Mom and Pop place next time.

Unfortunately I felt like our noodles were a bit too dense and not as enjoyable to eat as it could've been. We also got the spicy cucumber salad and they were SO spicy??? We also wanted a couple traditional American-chinese egg rolls but they have the mini ones - they remind me more of spring rolls. We got an order of 6 but they weren't my favorite. Our tab was $76, ready for pick up in $15 minutes. I miss the days when an order like this would have cost $50 or less. While we did get two full meals out of it (lunch and leftover dinner the next day) - its still expensive for what it is... It met expectations. Everything was good - but its pretty hard to mess up the dishes we got. Funny enough, as I'm posting this, I see my last review was about 6 years ago and it was $50 for a slightly smaller order and even then I thought it was oh the pricier side! You do pay a premium for this shop vs No. 1 Chinese on Washington street. Never tried No. 1 so can't comment how much the quality differs.
