Absolutely delicious place! Very friendly, fresh food, great service, quick, comfortable! Came here for just dumplings but got talked into the braised beef noodle and PF bao. Loved both! Pleasantly seasoned, not bland, not crazy spicy. Will be back!

We were in town for the week and made a point of making our way to Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles. It was a beautiful Friday in June so we walked from our Chelsea hotel and were seated immediately. We ordered the signature beef noodle dish with wide noodles, a pork "hamburger" , a coke and a Sapporo. The noodles arrived first and they looked great. We realized pretty quickly what the scissors are for: cutting the very long noodles before they were unmanageable getting them into your face or smaller dish. The noodles were nicely chewy and not too soft and the beef was tasty. The herbs and slices of crisp daikon were a nice addition and the broth was mildly spicy. I added more chili oil to my individual bowl. Nice! The pork burger was hot and had good flavor. Service was very friendly and prompt. The ambiance was quiet and calm. We will be back again soon! 8/10

It'll lean on the spicy hide but it's all very fresh as you are watching them make the noodles. They don't do reservations but they turn tables fast.

enormous container of broth for one portion of braised beef noodles!

Good value food. You will be full and not broke. Staff are super accomodating. Food is prepared quickly. Super fast delivery--literally the quickest that the food can even be prepared! $17 Braised beef noodle soup is satisfying and filling. Big portion--they give you a loooot of broth and noodles! Look at the enormous container of broth! Easily can split into two normal sized portions. The broth was a bit too fatty for my liking. Once mixed with noodles, it became better. Additional $5 for added braised beef was worth it--the total amount of food could easily feed two or serve as two meals for one. Braised beef was flavorful and juicy--appreciated the quality. I asked for not spicy, yet the broth and the beef were spicy--I was dishing out the red peppe flakes and large chunks of ginger. If you don't like spicy, be aware that your sinuses will clear out, so grab some napkins.

We originally tried to go to 1915 Hand Pulled Noodles in Chinatown, but the line was long, so we pivoted and got our hair blown out around the corner instead. No regrets though, because we ended up going to their Midtown location near our hotel, which is actually the original. We ordered the braised dry noodles with the prism-style noodles (wide, chewy, and so satisfying) and the spicy noodle soup with thin noodles. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The broth was rich and well-seasoned, and the noodle textures really stood out in both dishes. I'd skip adding the egg next time since it didn't add anything special. They also offer yuzu sake, and we tried the Yuzumon, which paired really well with both the soup and the dry noodles. If you like heat, you can ask for extra spice from the back. Also, no peppercorns in the dishes, which I personally loved.

Delish! My husband and I shared the ground pork hamburger, the oil spilled wide noodle with spicy chicken, and the happy pan fried pork dumplings. Every dish had a lot of flavor. The service wasn't bad either - attentive and quick. The only negative is the small size of the restaurant. It was hard to get to the table and to leave. Still 5 stars!

Please dine in the restaurant for the full experience. I really enjoy the signature Lanzhou noodle soup with wide or prism noodles. The portions are very generous for the soup and the noodles. Also, I love their cold noodle, as well. Well priced overall. There may be a might so try to avoid lunch and dinner rush. I've dined here multiple times and I will probably come back to dine in. I don't recommend getting this place to-go or on door dash since they skimp out on the soup. I was disappointed when the soup didn't even cover the noodles all the way. The soup didn't fill up 50% of the deli container. Pretty disappointed. Im glad I tried this place in the restaurant first before ordering to-go

We stopped in for lunch and got exactly what we came for... delicious noodles, friendly service, and fun atmosphere. The noodles were just like we ordered and the soup broth was delicious.

Everything at 1915 is so good. There's so many items on the menu that I want to try and keep me coming back. There's not too much seating but definitely worth the wait if there's a line! I have gotten takeout before, but nothing beats eating there. Service is always super fast.

Delicious hand pulled noodles with very rich and flavorful broth. The beef was very tender and they gave a good amount of vegetables. The service is quick and they get the food out to you pretty much right after you order. Lines can get long though. It's pretty tight inside and hard to move around.

Walked in at around 7 PM on a Saturday and there was no wait, though the place was packed and there was a line outside when we left. My boyfriend and I shared the Signature Beef noodle soup, which was great, and the lamb Chinese hamburger, which was super spicy and flavorful. I mixed some of it into the soup and it was so yum. Not sure I'd rate this above other handpulled noodle places, but it's solid!

There's a reason they always have a line! Came on a rainy morning. My friend and I were seated in less than 10 though. The waiter was really friendly and even gave recommendations. Food came out relatively fast. Nothing beats the texture of fresh hand-pulled noodles. The pan-friend dumplings had a really nice crisp that kept until the very last bite!

Hand pulled noodles had great texture and the braised beef was very tender, but I would have preferred more toppings. The amount of scallions and spice seems a bit inconsistent from bowl to bowl. I found my bowl to be too spicy for me, but you might be able to ask to adjust the spice level. It's a very small store and they don't take any reservations, so be prepared for a wait. They also don't offer tap water, so you need to buy something if you want a drink.

I had the classic Tonkatsu Ramen, with an egg - The pork ws seared and still so tender! The broth was very flavorful. My husband has a salmon rice bowl, and he loved it. He said the fish was cooked perfectly! We started with veggie gyoza, and they do them in a very interesting way. Very flat and all fried together. We were surprised when they brought them, but they were awesome! we were. fan of this style almost immediately! The waiter gently recommended the pork gyoza (his preference) but not everyone at the table eats meat, so we stayed with the vegetable. We really enjoyed our meal! everything was quick, the service was above and beyond, we would happily return!

The restaurant is a small cozy place that's great for a date night. The ramen itself was good. It wasn't very spicy despite me ordering the spicy beef ramen. However that's usually the case for all ramen places. The broth was delicious which I finished every last drop of. Again, the meal was very delicious. It wasn't a memorable bowl of ramen but I have no complaints. The ingredients were great and it had good flavor. It's definitely one of the better spots in the neighborhood. I could recommend this location for a date night over the other ramen establishments in the area. Again, there's no shortage of choices.
