Wow.. may I say the service is amazing. What I mean by that is : i have social anxiety. As someone with this mental illness, I find these little technologies such as large scale iPads refreshing. I don't have to speak to anyone. Usually when I do, I get anxious and wanna shrivel up into a small ball, unseen. In honeygrow, I walk in with confidence in my new baggy jeans (apparently they are in now?? Lol I've always loved my skinny jeans). Not to mention, the noodles were so aldente, and I am 24% Italian so it truly means so much to me. I won't lie though: this is a message to those on call. The last time I went to honeygrow there was a beautiful lovely lady taking a photo shoot. While I admired that, it bothered my eyes with the flashing and I found it to be a strange energy surrounding me while I inhale the noodles. If this ever happens again please say something. Stir fry/salad restaurants that offers 5-6 different types of dishes that are somewhat customizable. Can substitute chicken/beef/tofu in any of the bowls or just make your own. Loved the sesame garlic bowl but the red coconut curry bowl was a little boring and didn't have much tofu in it. Even though the bowls are high in calories they aren't very satisfying. I just ordered delivery. The garlic butter chicken noodle dish was good but the sweet soy five spice rice dish was served with rice that was NOT FULLY COOKED. I go to Honeygrow often in Marlton NJ. I always order the same rice noodle bowl. The restaurant in Newark was nothing like my past experiences. The portions are significantly smaller. The rice noodles were so overly cooked I couldn't eat them . They portions of ingredients such as chicken were barely visible. The food quality was good and the service was even better. I came during a rush and the two managers Ty and Nye were doing their best to keep all of us happy. It was pretty packed in there but they kept me updated multiple times, assured me that they were working on my order and apologized for the wait. I've worked in food service before and working during a rush is tough, it's EASY to get flustered and overwhelmed but I think they handled it with grace. Job well done! read more

First knew of the company from its 15th St location Philly, s/o to Temple alum :) This place is a lot larger than the one in Philly. About the same number of touch screens for ordering (prob to control volume of ppl and their wait time for their food to come out). Despite how packed it can be, you still can order, eat, and be out within 30 min. Lots of options of ingredients and sauces/dressings! Stir-frys and salads are all about $8-$10... Have yet to try the honeybar dessert. If you don't mind the price, it's a good place to go for anyone trying to eat healthy or trying to do good in the world by eating local. read more

I SO wish this were here in Edmonton!! We came here at our friend's insistence (on our visit July 5, 2016) as she really enjoys coming here for lunch from time to time, especially during the semester at University of Delaware. She does also make it a point to come here when she comes in to the UD to work. The 3 of us who came here ordered: the Cobb Salad, the Roasted Wheat Berry Salad, and the Sweet Soy Five Spice Stir Fry. Each one was prepared well and the servings were VERY ample. My Cobb was very good and I enjoyed it very much, as did my companions their Stir Fry and Wheat Berry. I tasted the Stir Fry and it was very tasted with a bit of heat :-) I couldn't try the Wheat Berry on account of my allergy to blueberries...but it looked beautiful and my friend indicated that this one is her favourite and gets it often. As well, the people working there seem to be all friendly and work well together which is nice to see as it is often the case that spots that have this type of service style can be very difficult for its staff. Ate here for the first time a few weeks ago on the UDel campus. Loved the quick ordering on the kiosks and the ability to customize my order myself or order something already prescribed off the menu. The kiosk made it quick and simple. I really loved the selection of FRESH ingredients too. Food was prepared fresh and to order, which is great. It was made quickly and tasted delicious! honeygrow is super delicious but this location is incredibly inconsistent with orders. I create my own stir fry (the same order every time) and always select regular sauce but somehow it's either drowning in sauce or barely has any at all. They also can't seem to decide which type of to-go container they'd like to stick with which appears to make prices fluctuate. (Probably more of a company issue and not one of this specific location.) Ordering on the app makes it super convenient to swing by and pick up my order but I wish I wasn't constantly disappointed when I get back to work and realize my order was made poorly. I of course will continue to order from here because like I said, it's DELICIOUS. The staff here always greets you and are super friendly but there are areas they could improve on. read more

Honeygrow is one of the "build-your-own fresh food meal" places on mainstreet that has high quality and healthy ingredients paired with flavorful sauces and broad variety. You order your meal through the touchscreen kiosks and then pay while they make it. I usually opt to build my own, rather than choosing the premade selections since it is cheaper. For both the stirfry and salad options there are a large number of ingredients to choose from, which change periodically as things come in and out of season. This rotation can be nice since they source everything locally and you know the food is fresh. For the salads, I highly recommend the roasted vegetables (brussel sprouts and carrots are my favorite) as the salads can be pretty massive and the oil in the roasted vegetables elevates the other raw ingredients. I have tried most of the dressings and they are all excellent - appreciate the option to add normal, less, and on the side as everyone's preferences are different. Stirfry sauces are also all very good - none of the ingredients come off as too heavy and there is generally a nice balance between the noodles/rice and the protein. One negative of Honey Grow is the price, which is steeper than other places on main street - cost is consistent with sit down restaurants over many other similar take out places. Additionally, I have had my order lost a couple of times and had to wait for them to sort it out. Other than that, service is very friendly. read more

excellent place. When I was a student at UD before, this was one of my favorite locations. Food quality was great. staffs were friendly and attenuating. In addition, orders were fulfilled in a very quick manner. Typically, it took less than 15 min to get the food I ordered. There was rarely any lines at all in the store, and hence this is a great option if you are in a rush to go to class. I highly recommend the stir fries in this store. Since you could customize the stir fries, you could actually order some thing like meat and vegetable stir fries, or just vegetable stir fries without either noodle or rice. I sometimes had like 3-4 bowls of stir fries because they were so good. This is a great place especially during the summer break and winter break when the dinning halls of the university are mostly closed. Also, the location is excellent. 5 min walk from the gym of the university, so good place to eat after working out in the gym. Overall, I highly recommend this location. Thank you read more
