We've eaten at this location before, but our latest experience was bizarre. When we entered, we were immediately told that none of the order kiosks were working and we had to download the app and order that way (fine). But then we watch the manager yell at another guest who got near one of the kiosks. Unclear why that customer approached the kiosks but yelling at her was uncalled for, regardless of the reason. After placing our order, we went to sit at table but those were dirty. So I went to look for a napkin to clean it, and I didn't see any that were out. So I asked the manager for a napkin and she immediately asked me what I needed a napkin for. I explained the situation and was told that her napkins were NOT to be used to clean a table, she pays someone to do that and that I should sit down and wait for that person. I retuned to my table. That person never came. So I went to the bathroom, got a paper towel and cleaned it myself. Then while I was picking up my food, another customer came over and asked for a napkin. She was immediately asked why she needed a napkin and then given a lecture about how every napkin is really 2 napkins (???) and she can't come back and ask for more napkins every 10 minutes, this would be the LAST TIME she was given any napkins. I have no idea what happened before I got there, but this women was eating with 3 very young kids. She's a paying customer. Maybe give her some napkins??? This is our third time at the Honeygrow at the Christiana fashion mall. The food every time has been absolutely delicious and fresh my partner and I love coming here. He always has the chicken garlic bowl and I always make my own salad. There's enough for 20 people. The managers when I am, there are absolutely excellent. They really know how to run their staff and run the establishment. I think it's a fabulous place. Just one suggestion you're called Honeygrow and your honey is outstanding. Why don't you sell it? First time here. I ordered a Shrimp Cesar salad and my wife ordered a Spicy Garlic stir fried noodles. First, my salad was good overall but the salad was way too small for me to do any mixing of the dressing. I ended up eating most of my salad without dressing. My wife's noodles was also overall good. Go to place for fresh and healthy options, rich in flavor. Love the contactless ordering system, can modify or add ingredients or toppings as you like. They prepare and cook everything fresh so it's a bit of a wait but it was worth it and very safe to hear that everything is prepared a la minute. Spacious seating, great location. I will always have a soft spot for Honeygrow as one my staple takeouts during college. It's a very satisfying stir fry with enough topping and sauce options which can satisfy a picky eater! At my latest takeout, I ended up getting whole wheat noodles, tofu, and miscellaneous veggies with sweet soy five spice sauce. The whole wheat noodles have a nice chew and hold the sauce very well without clumping together or getting soggy. This is compared to the rice noodles, which will sometimes clump together. The sauce itself was a nice mix of sweet and savory without overwhelming the dish. It's a really nice portion size, and I had enough to eat for breakfast leftovers. I tried a stir fry and a salad from this location. I would definitely go back to try other things. I like that they have a touchscreen for ordering if you go there to place the order. When placing my online order I was given a time when it would be ready for pickup. It was all packaged up when I got there. It did take a little bit of time to get a staff person to approach me at the pick up counter but not a big deal. read more

Like I did not even want to take a photo. They both smelled and there were no towels to dry your hands in the very dirty sinks. Urine all over the toilets etc. you get the drift. I am sure from the looks of it, that it was not a mess from today but from days of not really cleaning. I understand the public can be very rude and not cleanly when they are in public restrooms, but I feel it's the restaurant's responsibility to still clean it. I've always been curious of what Honeygrow was and I always thought it looked interesting, so I figured I would try it out. I love that you place your order on the kiosk so you can see all your options, especially when creating your own salad. There were plenty of options for each part of your salad, which was great! After placing our order we watched as they made our salads, but knowing they were ours we pointed out when there was chicken in a salad that was not supposed to have any. When we told the workers they were very kind, but unfortunately had to throw out the food that was already in the bowl. When we sat down to eat we noticed that there were not any chickpeas in one of the salads we ordered. We brought it back up and they graciously added some to the bowl. Despite the efforts to get the salads, the workers were all super friendly and helpful, and the salads were delicious! Every ingredient in the salad was super fresh and flavorful. There were about 8 people ahead of us :-( we had to wait about 20-25 min. we also had 2 drinks, the total was $34. Then we get our food, and it's TINY....and they forgot some ingredients. We received 2 small pint sized containers...What a Rip off! i couldve went to a chinese restaurant and recieved the same food for 1/3 the price. I have visited this location before, and the portions were bigger & prices cheaper. i know theres inflation but this was unacceptable. dont think i will ever go back. read more

Tried this place out for dessert since my hubby is on a no sugar diet. He only eating natural sugars. We got two fruit bowls. He really enjoyed his. He got apples & strawberries, wildflower honey, and granola. Mines was the apple/ pear streusel with plain yogurt. I personally thought the yogurt tasted expired. It was sour and not good at all. The cooked apples and pears became pretty disappointing after a few bites. Overall, I was not impressed, and I would not choose to get this ever again.
