Delicious stir-fry! We've loved every bowl we've tried. Place is clean, service was great

I recently visited Honeygrow restaurant in mid-January 2026. I also visited over a year and a half ago in October 2024. Honeygrow is a nice fast casual restaurant choice for healthy food. You can customize your order and pick out the carb and protein options such as noodles, a salad, chicken, shrimp, etc. FOOD -- During my January 2026 visit, I ordered the Garlic Butter Shrimp noodles bowl which came with sugar snap peas. This was filled with a buttery flavour and delicious. I would definitely order this again. In my previous visit, I ordered the Seasonal Sriracha Tahini bowl ($11.72 was the price back then) -- it consisted of egg white noodles with roasted chicken and vegetables. This was a protein filled dish that tasted good but the flavour wasn't as strong as the garlic butter shrimp noodles dish. The chicken wasn't seasoned well at all but the sauce (I forgot the type) helped to make the bowl taste good. I wouldn't mind ordering this again but I probably would choose something else just so that I can try something else on the menu. The restaurant has lots of seating available for dining-in. Both times I've been, I placed to-go orders to eat at home. During my January 2026 visit, I had just come from a hair appointment so I was super hungry and I ended up eating the garlic butter shrimp bowl in my car. That's how delicious it tasted. FYI -- The price of the takeout bowls is slightly high compared to the size of the bowl itself. I ordered Honeygrow on a whim, and what a pleasant surprise! I will say I wasn't a huge fan of the pasta, but that was on me, not Honeygrow. I picked a sauce I was already unsure about and decided to try it anyway. Risk taken, lesson learned. However! Their desserts have been living rent-free in my mind for days. They were so delicious, and I loved how customizable they are. That alone makes me want to order again. I can't really speak to the service or ambiance since I ordered through DoorDash, but my dasher was nice and everything arrived perfectly packaged. Definitely a spot I'd give another try (especially for dessert). read more

Visited for the first time 6/21/25. Veggies are all fresh and crisp. I choose the chicken protein option and they added the perfect amount, no need for double meat but feel free to double it if you wish! :) I WOULD recommend purchasing an additional sauce on the side. If you end up having leftovers, because the portions are friendly, an extra sauce would be beneficial. I also choose the apple pie cheesecake bowl for dessert... literally a 10/10. This was a solid 3 for me, the atmosphere, staff and menu options were great. The flavor of my bowl missed the mark. My daughter and I visited on a week night, pretty close to 8PM, the restaurant was busy, but not crowded. We were warmly greeted upon entry, and proceeded to check out the menu board, then the proceeded to the self serve kiosk. Ordering was pretty easy. I opted for the garlic butter chicken bowl, swapped brown rice for the white rice option. My daughter chose to build her own bowl. Our orders arrived a short time later. The serving was decent for the price paid. The bowl was warm and freshly made, but didn't quite hit the mark for me. The chicken was bland, the veggies were chopped super small, the sauce was murky and lacked the flavor that I was hoping for. It was just ok, for me. I would return to try other options, but this won't be my go-to. read more

If you like stir fry then this is your spot! The restaurant was really clean and nicely decorated. I got a cyo stir fry with the spicy garlic sauce. I added shrimp and chicken and it was really good. I'm not a huge noodle person no I'd probably stick with the rice as my base next time. The packaging looked a little small but it was actually a lot of food I ended up sharing it with my family when I got home. The price is a little steep tho especially when you start adding extras into your food. Even with double sauce the stir fry could have standed to have a tiny bit more. It wasn't dry but as it sat the sauce soaked into the noodles. On another note the flavor increased overall after some time passed. The strawberry lemonade was really good also. There was little staff interaction as you order on a tablet. I did notice that someone came from behind the counter to help an older lady who seemed to have some trouble ordering. I love having a healthier dining option around cleveland. We were welcomed the minute we entered which was appreciated. I did like self-ordering in the kiosk to look through the options and also have the chance to add or select additional toppings. The salads are huge and I love the toppings such as edamame and shrimp. I think the price is very fair. The garlic noodles, though delicious, I do think the portion size is a little small for what you pay for. We only had half of our bowl filled with it. I do recommend the owners put a specific area for trays and bowls because the sign right now is by the trash can in a small area and I had to stack other customers' dirty bowls with mine and then put my trays under theirs to organize the dirty trays so they won't topple over. I love that we can sit inside or outside and the environment is very friendly. read more

Stir fry is one of my favorite foods so of course when I heard that Honeygrow was opening for business nearby I had to go check it out! It is located right across from the mall and amongst all of the most popular spots to grab food in strongsville so it's a pretty busy area. I'll start with the dining area. When you walk in, there is a digital menu loaded with options as well as visuals of the dishes, which I love! I like to be able to see what a dish looks like when ordering something new so that was very helpful and appealing. Once I had my order ready I proceeded to the self checkout portals which provided the ease of customizing my order myself as well as not having that rushed feeling when you're trying something new yet still deciding. You could also pay and complete your order right at the portal which was nice. There's also the option to pay with cash at the register. I decided to order the Siracha Tahini, as it is seasonal. The wait was pretty long (as expected since they were just opening and I went during dinner hours) BUT it wasn't an unpleasant wait. Everyone on the staff had great energy and were very attentive to customers needs. I ordered for take out and my phone died before I could get a pic but the order came in cute little purple take out boxes. Now for the food... I had to sub the spinach in my Siracha Tahini for Kale because they were out but I think that was a great decision because I dug into a burst of flavor! It was so good that I had to go back again yesterday for more (with the spinach this time) and currently thinking about going a 3rd time lol except this time I'd definitely substitute the spinach for kale again! I also tried the strawberry guava lemonade which was also amazing, I'd buy it by the jug lol. I did try the cheesecake honey bar item which was okay. I wasn't the biggest fan of the "cheesecake"filling , as it just tasted like plain whipped cream cheese but it may be perfect for someone looking for a dessert that's not too much on the sweet side. Overall... this will be one of my new go to spots. I'm already contemplating my 3rd visit so that should be enough to tell you to stop reading and go give it a try! read more

I don't like to give bad reviews. But the truth should come out. And if I get people mad at me for the truth. Then to me that means "They can't handle the truth" What went so wrong to get this review. Well the dessert part went zero stars. It was not even edible. Tasted horrible. The fruit in bottom of the brownie cup had so much water included. The brownie got soaked in it. The mush was disgusting. I ordered a Buffalo chicken and noodle bowl. And I feel the taste was there. I didn't have a problem with the taste. The problem I had, or should I say the problems I had are the size, value, presentation, quality. I paid almost $14 for the chicken and noodles. What I received was all noodles with only four very small pieces of chicken. The size of the entree was super small. I expected a bowl the size of chipotle biowl. Nope. I received a container the size of a small Chinese restaurant small rice take out container. I'm not making this up. See the picture. It is super small. No value in that. The presentation was horrible because it was smashed into a small container. So I wasn't able to really see my food before tasting it. People eat with their eyes and nose before taste. Serve in chipotle style bowl. And the senses can all enjoy the meal. Nope. Just my tastebuds got to enjoy the meal. The value for what I received didn't meet expectations. And if I'm being totally honest. I don't see how anyone would believe they have value in the meal. I paid $22 for entree and dessert. And I was still hungry. If that's the case. Maybe I should go to a regular restaurant. And enjoy a full meal. The drink was almost $6. So I passed on it. Because I had already spent $22. The quality of the dessert ruined the experience more than I wanted. Since the food tasted good. I was ok with just dealing with it. And moving on. But when I tried to eat the dessert. It was nasty. And not edible. So I wasted money on something to toss in the garbage. Honeygrow. Please do better. Allow people to eat with all their senses. Not just the taste buds. Let me see my food. Let me smell my food. And for gods sake. Give me value for my hard earned money. read more

In terms of fast casual eatery, this is one of the best places you'll find. The food is really good, most toppings are free or only a little extra (I always get double protein and extra sauce). The team is fast, efficient, and friendly. I'm partial to their strawberry guava lemonade. Serious recommendation if you're looking for something good, unique, customizable, and fast! Also, special note, the person who was running the register for our visit, a man wearing a yellow bandana and beard was awesome! Friendly & checking on tables. Food and service were good; no complaints there. As other reviewers have said, you order at a kiosk like at Crumbl. One of my biggest pet peeves at restaurants is when the tables aren't clean. All of the tables were bussed, but the one I was at needed to be wiped down and the way the sun was coming in, I could see that all the tables in the row needed the same. I agree with the previous reviewer who mentioned that the tray/ bowl drop off is awkward and needs a separate space for trays - Panera does this great. Additionally there is no recycling. Would love to see these two things added by the owners as well as table wipe down conducted several times per shift. read more

We were craving something new, exciting and fresh. To be honest, we've never heard of this place but on our drive to find something to eat, this place popped up. Very exciting, new and modern. You order from the kiosk. It's basically a fresh salad, noodle, and dessert bar. I ordered the Spicy Ginger Shrimp Noodle dish and also got the Asian Ginger cold Noodle shrimp bowl. Both were unbelievable. Ordered the Guava Lemonade which was decent. The food however, we were both highly pleased. The cold noodle dish was full of flavor and ingredients. Tons of options to choose from the Spicy Ginger noodle bowl was elite. Had a nice "kick" to it with the chili flakes. Great tasting noodles and plump shrimp. You can also add or subtract any item you wish and have an option for extra protein. Great prices. ($13 a meal) or around there. Definitely flavor ale and hit the spot. We will definitely be back. I chose to do the build your own stir fry option and was happy with the amount of mix-ins and vegetarian options. You can only pick 3 veggies to add for free, otherwise you have to pay extra for additional toppings. Most fast casual places like this let you add as many toppings as they offer for free, so I thought this was disappointing. I tried 2 of the sauces--the chili garlic and the sriracha tahini. Both of them were very good. I do think the price of this meal was too high for the portion. $15 for a fairly small carton of noodles isn't something that I would return for. The restaurant was very clean and I got my food quickly. I liked being able to order on the touch screen. read more

This is a newer franchise, I've visited the one in Akron and now the strongsville location. The experience in both was the same.... Fabulous! It was busy and bright in the strongsville location, people were friendly, service was fast. The ordering is all done via kiosk as is the payment. Self seating and self serve drinks. The food is stir fry noodle based with protein and a bunch of stuff you can add for a small cost (59 cents each which can add up). There are salads you can make as well. On the other hand, if you don't want to make your own, you can pick from some premade dishes. It's like an Asian based noodles and company (a step up) if you ever been to one of those. Didn't try the desert / Honey based items, but they look great with fresh fruit to choose from or you can get some premade ones also. Beverages are standard carbonated or their own cherry / lemonade which are both very good. If you want a change of pace from Chipotle or piada , this is very good. Prices are comparable and the servings are quite generous. This will be a good addition to the rotation of quick good food! read more

I have no idea what the food tastes like because I put in an order for over $70, needed it delivered as I am disabled and very ill and it's Christmas Eve so I was spoiling myself. I never order out or anything, but stupid me decided to... After TWO HOURS I was told they were canceling my order. No reason why. I've been here a few times and always get the make your own stir fry. The food always tastes good and I definitely appreciate that it's made to order. That being said it is rather expensive for the portion size and the amount of protein. I usually get chicken but I have to hunt around to actually find any. Compared to some of the other fast casual restaurants the amount of protein is far below the competitors. If you plan on takeout I would honestly skip the protein and just add your own at home. The staff have been nice, and will answer questions if you can get their attention. I don't often eat in the restaurant, but it seems well lit and clean. Overall I'd say it's a nice once in a while place but not a staple. read more

The staff were very nice, but as other reviewers have said, I was quite surprised at the small amount of vegetables and protein in my stir fry for the price. Even with the noodles, the portion size in total might not be enough to fill a lot of people up. I'm usually full after half of any fast casual meal, but this bowl I scraped clean and probably could've kept going. Guess that's why they have desserts on the menu. I found the garlic butter sauce a little too salty for my taste, but others may not mind. All in all, I'd say if you're craving Asian, you're going to be more satisfied and get a lot more bang for your buck if you go to a mall food court or your local takeout. read more

We will be coming back! Their homemade noodles were outstanding. The service was great. The seating area was kept clean and workers were actively wiping down tables as people left. You walk up to a touch screen and place your order which avoided standing in a line. It was busy but the food was served fast, fresh, and hot. It is very loud to dine in here as the employees are always yelling out the names of people who ordered. My bowl had a terrible burnt taste and was mostly noodles with little bits of broccoli, peppers, carrots and was overpriced for what it was. read more

I spent 20.00 on my meal with the suggested brownie for dessert. Definitely a rip off in my opinion. Hardly any chicken. The chicken did not taste good and was not hot. Very little veggies. The brownie was not the best either for the price. I went back to get some extra sauce and the manager rang me up for the little cup of sauce. I won't be going back. I will go to a real restaurant for a well cooked stir fry meal. And it was so noisy! read more
