I am a big soft serve fan. It is my go to dessert. I can have it every day for breakfast lunch and dinner when I heard of this place I was so excited to go during their opening week. I will say, though This place is a little tough to rate. When we went, it was during their "opening " and they were having a deal where if you signed up with your phone number the froyo's were buy one get one free. I had gotten the Yuzu Affogato my friends had gotten the Matcha Affogato, Honey Me Vanilla. I absolutely loved the Yuzu froyo. I could've had 100 servings of that. When I tried the Matcha, I will say that the Matcha itself is unsweetened and it's not enough honey or FroYo to balance out that bitterness of the Matcha. I liked it, but this is more so a warning for people who like their Matcha itself on the sweeter side. The ice cream consistency was perfect. The sweetness was perfect. I didn't feel like I needed water to quench my thirst from eating dessert. Now to the con of the establishment. If this place wasn't having a buy one get one free situation I would've been very upset with the serving size and the cost that I paid. A tiny little cup cost seven dollars. It definitely feels overpriced. But with the Bogo, the price balance out. I would love to come back here again, but I just cannot justify spending seven dollars on such a tiny amount of ice cream. I would rate the ice cream itself as a five out of five. I would rate the value as one out of five so in total, I would give this place a 3.5 stars out of five. read more

Honeymee has really yummy soft serves and milkshakes, but their matcha is not it. It lacks flavor and tastes very muted. I recommend getting the blueberry milkshake or classic honey milkshake/softserve. Service is as good as you can get at an ice cream spot, and the atmosphere is super cute. We are so glad to get a Honeymee that is closer to home! The Honeymee ice cream was my favorite with the honey drizzle and real honeycomb as topping! The ice cream itself was super creamy and delicious! Our toddler also liked the Strawberry Affogato (coffee not included). I haven't been to any of the locations before so this was my first time. Met up with some friends on a Saturday night and they had a few customers come and go, but wasn't as busy as R&B next door, so we decided to come in. It's in a small center with a shared parking lot. They've only opened maybe just over half a year ago so it's still pretty new. They have a black and white theme going on and was clean all around - restrooms included. The workers were nice enough, but the establishment is not ready for questions in regard to allergens. My youngest has multiple food allergies (wheat, eggs, nuts, avocado, pineapple, kiwi) and they were waiting on corporate to confirm. What they could say was there was no avocado or nuts, but they couldn't guarantee anything else until they heard back. They didn't have an allergen sheet prepared. We were there for over an hour and they didn't get back within that time. I guess we'll never find out! As such, we could only get the brown sugar boba milk for the kid (he thought it was okay) who only took a few sips before abandoning it. The boba isn't very tender and on the mediocre side. It's also the sweetest thing we got. Other things our party got: Milkshake (with honey) - he said it was fine but was disappointed that his original choice (lavender) was out. Coffee milk shake - I thought this was quite good. If you've ever had the Indonesian Kopiko coffee candy, it tastes just like it! Cookies and Cream Milk Shake - tasted like cookies and cream but not as sweet as some other places, which I thought was nice. They only had two machines going when we were there so when they got busy at one point, there was a little wait. Other than not being aware of allergens for even the ice cream base itself, the staff were fine. I did like how most of the items weren't very sweet. They are about $6 each, depending on the flavor, so it does add up fast! Is it worth it? It's not bad. You do get a decent sized cup for the milkshake for one person and a smaller cup if you get the one with the soft serve, but it's a shareable amount, depending on your stomach. If you haven't been, give it a go! The lack of knowledge of ingredients was a bit of a let down. Stars knocked off for not being prepared for something that is becoming more common (and the website doesn't have anything listed either) as well as being out of a menu item. Overall, just okay, but welcome if you want a cold treat that isn't too sweet. They do have a few intriguing flavors that I wouldn't mind trying on a second visit, but it would have to be if my youngest wasn't with me. Not sure when that's going to happen. read more

I usually get the Matcha Darling at the other Houston location and you can really taste the matcha. My friend and I wanted to try something else and was recommended the Yuzu Affogato and the Dear Chocolate. The Yuzu Affogato will probably be my go-to option now as the yuzu peel and pulp along with the corn flakes meshed really well with the ice cream and honey. The Dear Chocolate was okay to me and did not really stand out since it was just ice cream with chocolate syrup. My only concern was the portion size was fairly small for the price; however, there are a wide variety of menu options besides ice cream such as milk shakes and regular drinks. The workers were very sweet and Kevin was very patient with us as we had trouble deciding what flavor to get and his suggestions were solid. It did take a while for our ice cream to be made though since only one machine was available during the grand opening, but they moved the line at a quick pace. The establishment was fairly spacious with about 6 tables open to sit. Parking may be a bit difficult at peak times as well. read more
