3 Piece Tender (Plain) with plain waffle fries

I was wondering why the line wasn't long and now I understand why. This food is super basic. I ordered the Chicken Tenders and they tasted like Sam's Club frozen tenders. Ordered the plain Wings, they were small party wings and not much flavor. The only thing that was decent was the order of Waffle Fries and that's only because they were piping hot and crispy. On top of all that, they charge 50 cents for sauce! No sauce comes with the chicken and none complimentary either. Never heard of that before. I figured if I got plain wings I'd get at least 1 sauce included. Nope. Wasted $26 in the process and ended up going to Shake Shack next door for a burger. Only reason I gave this two stars was because it's black-owned & the food was super hot. I will not be back.

Even though I only gave this place 3 stars, we ended up getting food from here twice because my kids loved the fried chicken and donut idea. It was like they got a meal and dessert all in one. There was no line for this place, but the wait for your food took long. The chicken and skin were tasty, but we had one thigh that was super tiny...almost like it was a baby thigh. I didn't try the donut, but my kids seemed to like it. Each bucket also comes with fries underneath so $11 for all that isn't too bad of a deal. I ordered a lemonade that was good, but had a slightly syrupy consistency - maybe it's sweetened with simple syrup?

So think of this as a food court place - bc it is in the MGM's District "food court". They have awesome sweet tea but you might want a lot of ice or some water bc it is like syrup... good but WOW it has some suga. Hubs and I both ordered the chicken tenders and fries ($10). It's served with about 4 chicken tenders and a small handful of seasoned fries. The tenders are weird cuts of chicken.... odd shapes.... and they're really thin. They serve it with a side of buffalo and a side of ranch - they don't have any other sauces. It takes a while to get the food when they're busy-ish - I'd say it took us about 10-15 minutes to get our chicken after we ordered and there were several people in front of us - they give you a buzzer after you order so you can go find a table nearby and don't have to haunt the hallway by there - which is good bc it's a crowded walkway with other fast food joints nearby and those people also ordering and waiting. It wasn't amazing - but it hit the spot for a quick bite.

Had the first bleeding fried chicken in my life... We ordered four meals and all are rare inside. Even worse, one of our friends is pregnant... Got full refund, and their attitude was good. But waited for a long time for the second round and the chicken was still not "fully" cooked.

The chicken was dry. The fries were like Arby's fries with Checkers seasoning. The fries were a little salty. The quality for the price was not justifiable. I would come back to this establishment only if I won big at the casino.

1.5 stars Background: Honey's Fried Chicken and Donuts is located in the "food court" area of the MGM casino/hotel. The restaurants in this food court and Tap are the only eating options open before 5pm (the Steakhouse, Fish, and Osteria looked so lovely from the outside). Decided to give Honey's a try because there was no line but in retrospect, that should been my hint. For a place that solely does chicken and donuts, I expected it to at least be better than Popeye's or KFC particularly given the price point (the meals as pictured totaled a little over $27!). The staff was friendly and the cook apologized for the undercooked raw chicken which I thankfully noticed when my friend had taken a few bites. We took it back and showed the cook who had the grace to look chagrined and he offered to make a new batch. He brought out the "new" cooked chicken but cold fries. We pointed this out and he made a fresh batch of fries. I had given up on the chicken the moment I saw it was raw and settled for the Fries. The donut tasted stale. My friend enjoyed her fried chicken once it was cooked properly and kudos to the staff on making sure things were good in the end.

Donuts and fried chicken - deadly, delicious combo in the heart of the food court at MGM National Harbor. Completely love the concept and definitely was happy to give it a chance and try it out and it did not let down! Came on a Saturday night, it was around 7pm and there was no line and got our food within 10-15 mins. Guess we lucked out! I got the drum, thigh, donut bucket that included french fries. I started with the french fries, they were they thick steak fries and were actually pretty good. I decided to be good and save the donut for dessert and went onto the chicken next. Now, I completely despise this adjective but honestly not sure how else to describe it...it was so MOIST! I was expecting some over cooked dry chicken but it was the absolute opposite - which clearly made me really happy, lol. Ended with the donut, which I regret because it was no longer warm, but it was still really good. More of a cakey texture with cinnamon sugar on top. Definitely worth trying, I highly recommend it. Eat the donut first!!!

The fried chicken was crispy but flavorless. You'll need a lot of sauce or salt or anything just to give it some kind of taste. The donut was also a bit disappointing. First, you can't even choose the donut that they have on display. You only get the sugar raised with your chicken and you have to buy an extra donut if you want something else other than the sugar raised. I ordered extra for my son, and i thought it's expensive for $3 a piece. The donut itself is not impressive. It feels like you're eating a cake not a donut. While it was really tempting at first, i probably wouldn't go back. The girl that took our order was friendly enough, though.

My husband and I needed a quick snack and decided to try this place. One plus is that the chicken was hot. The wings were so small with hardly no meat. One order of 6 wings equated to maybe two chicken wings and for the price needless to say, we will not be back.

I cannot stress it enough that THIS IS THE BEST BRUNCH I HAVE EVER HAD. The French toast made my taste buds dance every bite. The chicken and waffles cooked to perfection and filled with such flavor. Then the Kentucky Hot Brown is the food you wouldn't expect you needed in your life but you do. The sweet buns were so good I preferred them over the Cinnabon across the street. All in all if I could rate this out of 10 it was a 20 for how good everything was. I would recommend Brunch over dinner but both still were good. I for sure will be flying from California just for this place again. Succotash staff and cooks thank you all. Especially Andrew and Misha yall are amazing!

The restaurant has a nice vibe and décor, but has too may steps for me, not good if you plan on getting lit. Our server was amazing, she was very knowledgeable and professional. Food wise: The cornbread was good, it came out pipping hot, with butter melting. The pork belly was my favorite.... Omg the Pork Belly was the star of the show---it was so sticky and sweet, the eggs and potatoes were pretty good, nothing extortionary. I was a bit skeptical about the eggs being from a carton, since I didn't see any white in the eggs. The chicken was so greasy and slightly soggy on the bottom. I don't think I'd order that again, the waffles were pretty good. I feel like the chicken and waffles are just great for show, in my opinion that dish didn't really deliver what I thought it would. I would return again, the chicken did not discourage me. It could've just been a bad day. I would recommend giving this place a try.

For appetizers, I ordered the fried oyster deviled eggs, and wow... they were so good. The little fried oysters on top of the deviled eggs were such a perfect combination. Crispy, creamy, flavorful -- definitely something I would order again without hesitation. For my entrée, I had the whole grilled branzino served over a green bean and fennel salad, and let me tell you... this was hands down one of the best branzinos I've ever had. The fish was seasoned perfectly and cooked beautifully. And that green bean and fennel salad underneath? So much better than I expected. I actually considered swapping it out, and I'm so glad I didn't because it completed the dish perfectly. Every bite was delicious. I also had a cocktail called the Endless Summer -- a tequila drink with this amazing foam on top -- and it was excellent. I asked the bartender for a recommendation, and she absolutely delivered. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I went by myself, sat at the bar, and genuinely enjoyed every minute of it. If you can snag a table outside, do it--the views really add to the atmosphere. The standout of my experience was actually the "Old Man and the Sea" bourbon cocktail. It was one of the best drinks I've had in a while--well-balanced, flavorful, and worth ordering again. Of course, I had to try the lobster roll since it's advertised as Maryland's best. It was definitely good: fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. That said, having spent time in Maine, I've had a few lobster rolls there that I would rank higher. To be fair, I can't compare it to other lobster rolls in Maryland, so it may very well be among the best the state has to offer. Between the location, great cocktails, and solid food, The Walrus is absolutely worth a visit if you're in National Harbor. I'd happily come back, especially for another Old Man and the Sea while enjoying the view.

So I said why not, and stopped here on a weekday (today) around 1:30pm. I ignored the fact that the tables and chairs outside the entrance were in disarray and walked inside. I looked around, noticing first a narrow hallway to my right with one small table and a snack bar. To my left were two more small tables. Loud music of an unrecognizable genre was blasting away. I was the only customer. It didn't look promising, but I figured I could order something and take it home. I looked up at the electronic monitor to see if there was a menu, but it just was displaying an outdoor scene. Then I noticed a woman sitting in the corner on a stool intently fiddling with her phone. She looked up, her face as blank as a refrigerator door and muttered something unintelligible (and certainly not welcoming) and pointed to the counter. She then went back to playing with her phone. I ordered the cheese egg biscuit sandwich, which came in at $10. Let me tell you, the portion size was generous, definitely enough for two meals. The biscuit was fluffy, buttery, and had just a touch of sweetness, which paired perfectly with the savory cheese eggs. I always ask for cheese eggs when I eat out, and most places miss the mark. Not here. They got it exactly right. Coffee-wise, it was simple: basic drip with International Delight creamer. Nothing fancy, but honestly, it hit the spot and fit the vibe. The ambiance really sealed the experience. A smooth R\&B playlist floated through the space, adding to the cozy, feel-good atmosphere. It was a refreshing contrast to the more sterile, minimalist coffee shops I'm used to back home in Sacramento. All in all, Milk and Honey Cafe delivered on food, flavor, and feeling.
