Decent. Not special. Unlikely to make my regular rotation. I drove past this place going back to forth to work and on the outside it looked like a nice establishment. Today I finally visited and was a bit disappointed to see the underwhelming interior where it is strictly carry out and cheap metal guest chairs to wait on while the food is prepared. But it's really about the food right?! Meh. It was very hit and miss. I ordered the (4) sliders with grilled onions. They were slightly charred which was nice, and they were juicy, but they could have been cooked a little more (they were like medium to medium well and I prefer well done - I should note they didn't ask how I preferred my burgers cooked). I also ordered their jumbo fried wings and picked sweet and sassy sauce. The sauce was tasty and the wings had a nice texture, but beyond the sauce the wings had a plain flavor suggesting they didn't season the wings before frying and then coating them with sauce. Overall the food was solid but not awe inspiring. I was less impressed with their cakes. I ordered a strawberry slice and a carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist and wasn't bad at all. I've had much better, but it was edible and satisfied my sweet tooth for the day. The strawberry cake however was dry and grainy. Perhaps it was old. It was definitely a waste of $7.99! Decided to give this place a shot as a first timer. Had high hopes as the menu was very diverse and the pictures online looked great, but unfortunately the execution failed on many fronts. The cornbread was hard, like inedible hard. The steak and cheese featured soggy bread with a side of limp lukewarm fries, and the jerk chicken was a poor imitation of jerk flavor, as the best word I could use to describe it was lifeless. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to refine their rice preparation to achieve the right consistency and incorporate more authentic seasoning, adding depth and a bit of texture to complement the main dish. As for the string beans, they seemed hastily prepared. Some still had their stems attached, which detracted from the overall presentation and eating experience. Additionally, they were completely unseasoned, making them taste flat and out of place next to the bold jerk sauce. A touch of garlic, pepper, or even a light sprinkle of sea salt could elevate this simple side, making it a more integral part of the meal. While seasoning can enhance flavors, it's not simply about adding salt, which often seemed to be missing here. Caribbean cooking thrives on a wide variety of spices and herbs, like thyme, allspice, and scotch bonnet peppers, to bring richness and complexity to each bite. Consulting local Caribbean chefs or community members could give the restaurant insight into how to layer these flavors, creating dishes that resonate more authentically with the cuisine. Interestingly, the shrimp salad I ordered was a standout item. The shrimp were plump, well-seasoned, and balanced perfectly with the fresh salad ingredients, showcasing the restaurant's potential. This dish proves they can create flavorful, balanced dishes, and applying the same attention to the jerk salmon could make it equally memorable. In conclusion, there's a lot of potential here, and with a few refinements, the restaurant could make the jerk salmon and other dishes a lot more flavorful and authentic. We ordered a few of the featured items off of the brunch menu. Unfortunately, the food was bland, misleading, and small in servings sizes. The Big Daddy was far from big and contains only 1 slice of bacon. The Mama T was better in taste but sad in quantity. However, the biggest problem were the home fries. When ordering you can see pictures of home fries on the menu. What we received was far from what was shown. Instead of the tradition cube shape that was advertised in the picture in the menu, we received thin flaccid slices of potato that were incredibly bland. I had to season them myself when I got home. I received better rations when I was on the run in Greece. Hopefully, their lunch and dinner menu is better for anyone who wishes to try this place, but I suggest considering another breakfast spot. read more

Cute little Irish pub. We came here for brunch. I ordered a little mama and got the eggs and an omelette style with cheese and also grilled chicken. Babe, got the create your own omelette, and he used egg whites with turkey and cheese! We also ordered a few flavors of the mimosa... Kind of creating our own flight. The flavors we included were pineapple, mango, apple and pomegranate. I also got a coffee... All of the mimosas were delicious. Our favorite was the pineapple !! Our server was awesome and attentive. I'm following up from my last review because the owner responded with something that I want to clear up. In my first review I stated that after I was seated, I waited for about thirty minutes without being seen before I left. The owner, Katie, replied to my review and said that she checked the camera history and saw that I seated myself. It's hilarious to think that I would be so unaware to the point where I would go past the hostess and seat myself. Why would I do that? Have I never been to a restaurant before? I'm sorry but that sounds accusatory, and is COMPLETELY incorrect and untrue. I even had my girlfriend call ahead of time and ask if there was a wait and the hostess told her that there was no wait. When we got there, an older lady sat us down. I'm assuming she worked there because she was literally sitting behind the hostess table and wearing the uniform. Oh and my girlfriend called back to ask for the manager and complain about our experience, the manager said that she (the lady that sat us) was new and this was something that had happened before. The spiced shrimp was steamed perfect not well done like the mussels. The Brussels sprouts were tasty and not roasted (the usual) but probably sautéed. My friends had: the Fish & Chips, no complaints about the meal; and the Steak & Guinness Stew, the only comment was that the vegetables in the stew were semi cooked, for being a stew - meaning the vegs should've been softer. Somehow, there was a mixup and the staff couldn't locate my order. Eventually, we got my food. Due to the mixup, it was quite hot when I got it. However, my food was still good. I got the fish and chips. The sweet potato fries were not my favorite but the fish was seasoned well. The second time we tried the food, my husband got a burger and I got the salmon. I decided to finally try this restaurant. I've heard mixed reviews for a while now. Overall, the experience was worth it. I went during lunch time with my bff. The restaurant was very clean , and the staff was very friendly. They have QR code menus and paper ones as well. The menu was a decent size. They offer a variety of "pub style" food. So, this is my first review ever & it's unfortunate that I have to start off this way. My boyfriend wrote a review for this restaurant and got a response from the owner that I have to comment on. Backstory: We came here for our regular Thursday date night. I called prior to arriving to see if there would be a wait for a table for two. The lady who answered the phone told me there was no wait so we went in. We walked into the restaurant & the hostess asked us if we were the ones who called. We had a little laugh & she walked us to our table. This is where things went wrong. We sat for about 30 minutes & no one came to our table, not even to get our drink orders. We waited and waited, so finally I flagged down another waitress & asked if she knew who our server was or if she could find us one. Again, we waited and waited until enough was enough. We decided to leave. After we left, I decided to call & ask to speak to a manager, just to let them know what happened. Fast forward to today: My boyfriend shows me that the owner commented on his review, telling him that she checked the cameras and saw that we sat ourselves & that's why we had no server. Now, there's a few things wrong with this. First, why would we walk into a restaurant & seat ourselves? We're not animals. Second, how could she know what night it was, & who we were? Sounds to me like this has happened to another couple. Smh. When I called to complain, the manager said that this has been happening a lot lately. Don't blame your customers for poor service. Last night was my third time trying Grille No. 13 and unless it is for corned beef and cabbage i won't be back. The menu items sound delicious in theory, and I would like an alternative to all the chain restaurants in waldorf. Understanding this is in waldorf, i don't expect stellar service to begin with. i called in a take out order and had to remind the person that my entree came with a salad. but unsurprisingly the salad was not in the bag when i got how. (standard for waldorf area service, not anything against this establishment). i ordered the chicken cordon which i mistakenly believed to be like a chicken cordon bleu. it is described as hand breaded and fried chicken on top of potatoes, topped with ham, cheese, and a sauce. though that is what came out it looked nothing like a chicken cordon bleu on top of mashed potatoes. #1 it was deep fried chicken, like from KFC, not breaded and pan fried like chicken cordon bleu. (who deep fries a deboned chicken breast?) mind you, chicken cordon bleu needs to be pounded thin, so it should be a really thin slice of pan fried chicken not some fried monstrosity. then, instead of a thin layer of ham topped with swiss it was two huge slices of ham steak with a layer of cheese melted between them (what???) so basically, i got a pile of mashed potatoes with a piece of fried chicken topped with two ham steak slices. the cheese was invisible. the dubliner (edited) eggrolls were good last time but this time they were a bit overcooked, still edible. the fries are really good. the burger sliders were also edible but nothing to write home about. (just meat and cheese on a bun). the dubliner dip was also ok, but my husband will eat most anything. he was not excited about it. The last time I went was some years ago and I can't recall what i got but i do remember being disappointed in the quality. the first time i went (at the old location) i got corned beef and cabbage (then just a st paddy's day special but now a permanent menu item) and it was really good. so if i try it again i'll stick with corned beef and cabbage for sure. i don't want to give up on them yet but not a great track record.... read more

My daughter and I went to this establishment on June 9th for lunch. We order appetizers; mozzarella sticks and crab dip. WoW the portions were nice size to my surprise. My daughter order Sant Fe Chicken burger with potatoes tart. I order Wings/BBQ with potatoes tarts. OMG the food was excellent and large portions. The chips that came with the Crab Dip were so good! Can't rate the food because I haven't been given the opportunity to eat there. But the Service is basically trash in the simplest sense of the word. The first time attempting to go, they got a pass from me based on the fact it was St. Patty's day and it's an Irish bar.. even though we got there around 6:45pm for a party of 2 and were quoted an hour wait... after about 2 hours and no word from the establishment, I called to asked for an update and was told the kitchen was behind an hour so it would be an additional hour before we were seated.. Aggravated at this point I still said OK.. needless to say we NEVER got a call back or a response from the restaurant during this event.. but.... I gave them a pass. Fast forward to tonight.. I called the restaurant at 8:39pm exactly (I have the call log to prove it). Asked what time the kitchen closed and was told specifically "either 10 or 11pm"... arrived around 9:20pm.. not too long after I called and of course was told the kitchen was closed but we could drink at the bar smh.. when I asked to speak to the manager about this all she stated was "I'm sorry. I remember your phone call asking when the kitchen closes but I guess it was a miscommunication between me and my servers.. I'll work on that." No other consolation. Obviously she didn't care and the establishment as a whole doesn't care as well this has been a repeat experience. Server was great and service was awesome. Manager came over to chat. We had the Pub Fries, Salmon, Bánh mì Sandwich and Fish and Chips. All were very good. Pub Fries were the best. Wonderful experience, food was great, service was even better! This was my first time dinning in, and I was impressed with the decor, clean bathrooms, menu and dinning area! I'd definitely return. The bar area has TVs for sports fans. They have a patio for summer. I'm glad I chose to dine there tonight. I'm a stickler for clean floors, and dinning areas and this restaurant met my expectations for sure. No sticky floor, clean under the tables. My first time here. This restaurant get 4 stars for the service. The staff were quite attentive. We had Anthony as our server. He was so down to earth and really looked out for us. He went into depth about my choices on the menu which I really appreciated. The host was great too although I didn't get his name. The food is what I really wasn't impressed with. I had the chicken alfredo in which I only ate the chicken and broccoli...the sauce was a little off to me. My husband had the Buffalo wings. He said they could've been cooked a little longer. The only meal I really enjoyed was my son's chicken tenders and fries off the kiddie menu. I stole a few fries and pieced of his tenders since he's a light picky eater anyway. It was delicious.
