They need to take the French toast back to the drawing board. I had to return it after one bite. The other good my mother and I ordered was great though! The service was a bit slow, but polite. The ambiance is Mexican in style. On a separate occasion, I ordered the signature nachos and a side of beans and rice to go. It was prepared in a timely manner and it tasted delicious.

Came here for brunch on Saturday. You're not limited to brunch menu. Restaurant had nice views (natural light) with high ceilings. Nicely decorated interior. Service was semi-attentive. Lots of seating - seemed ADA friendly. Ordered: *Queso dip ($13) - my friend who doesn't like queso thought it was amazing. *Baja tacos ($17) - really yummy (some taco had too much lettuce/green), good size fish the price for 3 tacos seems eh. *Tres leches French toast ($18) - average (not anything amazing), could've skipped ordering, wouldn't order again. *Steak tacos ($22) - yummy (price for 3 seemed eh). *Guava colada ($7) was delicious - would absolutely order multiple of these since they were sooo good. Overall I think the pricing is not really worth the proportions (tacos), but the fish tacos and queso dip were good enough that I'd come back for those.

I ordered this to take to my hotel room after day 1 of a conference. The service was nice. The lady who got my order for me was friendly. The food is okay. Not great. And certainly not worth $24. Guys, I only ordered an appetizer and some rice. I think I'm paying for overheard.

Everything is a bit pricey here but that's what's expected for this area. I enjoyed my half chicken plate a lot! Everything was seasoned well and I really liked the mole sauce it came with and the raisin spinach, plantains, and rice! It also came with tortillas so it was definitely filling. I also really liked my mango mocktail! It was very refreshing and I liked the chia seeds in it too. Our waitress was nice and checked in on us. She did forget to bring straws though when I asked. Overall, this is a pretty good place to eat at in the area!

Overpriced for what it is. The birria tacos were good but nothing spectacular. Unfortunately, it was not filling and for $22, felt like I did not get my money's worth. My mocktail was tasty too but not sure if it was worth the price either. Service was alright and the vibes seemed normal to me here. Definitely seems like a place that would capture tourists around the area.

The food and drinks were great. All the flavors were enjoyable and my drink had just the right amount of alcohol for an adult beverage. However I feel the restaurant could do a better job with cleanliness. It might help to have someone assigned to sweeping and wiping down tables and floor after guests leave,as tacos and nachos can get pretty messy. I sat in the bar area on a busy Saturday just FYI. Bartender very attentive and fast service!

Our party of 8 easily found seating on the outdoor patio for Wednesday dinner. It was a great spot to enjoy the weather and good food with some people watching, too! We shared guac which was delicious. I also enjoyed the mushroom enchilada. Service was excellent.

We reserved a table for a large party. Everything went great! The food was really good also. Guacamole en molcajete 10/10 Fantastic table side guac. Birria quesatacos 9/10 Really good! A touch dry but the consommé dip really added that bit of moisture that it needed

Great food...and I'm from Texas! Location is great and I loved the walking area by the water. I had the Chicken enchiladas with charro beans. The green sauce was wonderful! Brisket enchiladas were great and well was the fish tacos. The guacamole was made at the table and was great! If you feel like Mexican food with a view, this is the place.

Loved my meal here! I left with a happy tummy. I came here with 4 other people. They started off by giving us free chips and salsa. We got a double size guacamole to share. The portion size was so huge!! We ended up having to take some of the guac back with us because we couldn't finish it. I also got the birria quesatacos. It was my first time trying birria, and I personally really loved it. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Obviously I can't compare it to other birria tacos so take this review with a grain of salt. By the end of this meal, I was stuffed. Staff was very kind and helpful. Also it wasn't that busy for a weekend lunch. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Recommend making a reservation during peak hours or on the weekend. Very nice restaurant with a view of the water. It was a bit noisy the night we went. Several things on the menu looked good, but I ended up going with one of the specials. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and very personable. However, he was not as attentive as I would have hoped. The food was also a bit pricy. Overall, I would recommend.

Good flavor, good portion sizes, good service. The beef brisket enchiladas come with rice on the side which is really good with the enchilada sauce.

This place has the best guacamole I have ever tasted! They make it right in front of you in a molcajete and you can choose your spice level! I wasn't the biggest fan of the enchiladas as the red sauce had a marinara flavor, but that didnt take away from the rest of the wonderful dining experience. Our server was so kind and the food came out quickly!

Good for large groups and conveniently located next to the convention center. Decent mexican food, a bit pricey for the quality.

    Do they validate parking?

    No they don't.

What is the approximate seating capacity inside?

Can they make chimichangas here (extra crispy)?

I've never seen a chimichanga on the menu. The chicken flautas are nice and crispy but you may need to get a few orders.

    Area heaters outside?

The last time I was at Rosa Mexicano was spring 2020. There was outdoor seating but I did not see any heaters however; they might have them now so you should call the restaurant to be sure!

Why is the three-variety enchilada plate more expensive than the most pricey of the three-of-the-same-kind enchildadas?

Variety will cost more beacuse of the difference in protein choices. When the protein is the same, take chicken for instance, from a cost perspective, its all chicken so the cost is spread across each enchilada thus bringing rhe cost of the protein… Read more

The venue filled up quickly, and the energy from the Knicks fans created something you cannot manufacture. It was a genuine community experience. The old fashioneds were not our favorites, and we have had our share of the best, but the chocolate chip cookies were warm, perfectly timed, and absolutely the star of the show. Sliders, wings, and brownie bites were solid bar bites. At $8 to to $16 for bites and $10 to $17 for drinks, the price point is fair for what you are actually getting, which is more than a meal. For appetizers, I ordered the fried oyster deviled eggs, and wow... they were so good. The little fried oysters on top of the deviled eggs were such a perfect combination. Crispy, creamy, flavorful -- definitely something I would order again without hesitation. For my entrée, I had the whole grilled branzino served over a green bean and fennel salad, and let me tell you... this was hands down one of the best branzinos I've ever had. The fish was seasoned perfectly and cooked beautifully. And that green bean and fennel salad underneath? So much better than I expected. I actually considered swapping it out, and I'm so glad I didn't because it completed the dish perfectly. Every bite was delicious. I also had a cocktail called the Endless Summer -- a tequila drink with this amazing foam on top -- and it was excellent. I asked the bartender for a recommendation, and she absolutely delivered. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I went by myself, sat at the bar, and genuinely enjoyed every minute of it. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and just an overall really enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back, and I absolutely recommend checking it out if you're at the Harbor.

If you can snag a table outside, do it--the views really add to the atmosphere. The standout of my experience was actually the "Old Man and the Sea" bourbon cocktail. It was one of the best drinks I've had in a while--well-balanced, flavorful, and worth ordering again. Of course, I had to try the lobster roll since it's advertised as Maryland's best. It was definitely good: fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. That said, having spent time in Maine, I've had a few lobster rolls there that I would rank higher. To be fair, I can't compare it to other lobster rolls in Maryland, so it may very well be among the best the state has to offer. Between the location, great cocktails, and solid food, The Walrus is absolutely worth a visit if you're in National Harbor. I'd happily come back, especially for another Old Man and the Sea while enjoying the view.
