The food was good and they have some of the best rice that I've ever had. The service was excellent and it was a chill vibe. I highly recommend!

Hot pot nights just hit different We went in knowing we wanted both hot pot and Korean BBQ, and it was 100% the right move. Tons of broth options, high-quality meats, and so many fresh veggies to throw into the pot -- everything felt super customizable and fun. For a small extra fee, you can upgrade to the grand barbecue or do both, which I highly recommend because switching between hot pot and grilling at the table makes the whole meal feel like an experience. The key ambience was lively and upbeat, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to!

Great option for AYCE hot pot / Korean BBQ in the Pittsburgh area. It's $32 pp if you go with just hot pot or just KBBQ, or you can pay $6 more to do both. Hot pot is served individually so each person can choose their own soup base. Service was super quick and the quality of the ingredients were generally good. Overall I think it was good value for what we paid.

Pretty good ayce Korean bbq spot. Really massive space inside, and lots of parking out front. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly. They have a bunch of different sauces in the center and "recipes" to build your own mixture. It's fun and goes into the whole theme of the place given that you cook your own meat, but it also would be nice if they could just have some of them pre-made and pre-mixed. They also have some fruit and desserts there, and some veggies like edamame and seaweed salad. We got the ayce bbq, not the hot pot. Every time we ordered something, it came out relatively quickly. Our favorites were the bulgogi, the spicy beef bulgogi, the garlic shrimp, and the short rib. We didn't like the steak with house sauce or the cumin beef. We liked the enoki mushrooms too, not the oyster mushrooms, those were tough and took forever to cook. All in all, it was decent, some dishes were better than others, but pretty sure we both got food poisoning from it :/

We came for lunch on the weekend and really enjoyed our experience here. Our server was friendly and helpful. We did the Korean BBQ option. Our food came within minutes of us placing the order each time. They have a good variety of meat/seafood/veggies. I enjoyed the beef bulgogi and shrimps. I can't imagine getting both hot pot and Korean BBQ. We left with full tummies. I would appreciate if they had an à la cart option instead of all you can eat. Nevertheless, I can see myself coming back for more after that full stomach digests a bit.

We ordered Korean barbecue for lunch. You can only order the same as a group for the same table. (either barbecue or hotpot or both together) The server was very responsive to come for new orders and change our plates. I loved the spicy calamari and Salmon. I haven't had Korean barbecue for many years and I'm very happy with this meal.

I'd been trying to check this place out for a while, but the wait times have been long. My date and I stopped in on a Monday evening around 7 pm. We had to wait for about 5 minutes and we were able to be seated. Our waiter was great. He explained how the process worked in great detail and took our drink orders. We opted for both hot pot and bbq. We tried a lot of items. We also were able to choose our own soup base and then also make our own sauces from the sauce bar. Everything was delicious! The staff also cleaned our grill and added more broth to our soup as we dined. Everything was delicious and the service was great! I can't wait to go back.

Hong BBQ & Hot Pot is such a fun experience. Make sure that you have a reservation because the place is busy from open to close. We waited over an hour because we didn't have a reservation, but it was worth the wait! Our waiter was super friendly and helpful in making decisions. It's a little overwhelming at first because there's so many options! We went with the BBQ AND hot pot so that we could try everything! Our favorite was the bulgogi! We also loved the sauce buffet, where you could try different sauces and mix your own! Our waiter also suggested the Peach Yaikurt for a drink and it was so good! This place is a meal and experience all in one! It's a little pricey, but you do get your money's worth! What a fun experience!

This was a fun spot for a group night out. We had 7 people in our party and called ahead. We were immediately seated when we arrived. The waitress was great and our food arrived really quickly. It is $31.99 for all you can eat in 2 hours for the Hot Pot. The space is HUGE. They also have a make your own sauce bar. For food you order a base for your pot and then your pick of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles/rice. There is a cake and little ice cream cup option at the sauce bar. They also had a variety of boba teas. They had a basic menu of domestic beers. They did carry Sapporo- a Japanese beer-which is great. As far as the food goes, I think it was fine. The overall experience was really fun, but for me, I'm not a fan of the DIY restaurant model. I didn't think the meats were prepared in any special way that made them stand out.

Although the wait on Valentine's day was around 2 hours, I still enjoyed the experience a lot! First time there and everything seemed fresh and it was a fun thing to do. The prices aren't the worst either for what you get. The waitress was really nice and explained how everything worked :)

This is such a great addition to McKnight Road. We love a good hot pot, but this is definitely the best we've been to. Hot pot and/or BBQ are offered, but everyone at the table needs to get the same one or both. It's all you can eat in a two hour time limit. Our group decided to go strictly hot pot this visit. There are about 8 different broths to choose from and a wide variety of proteins, veggies, and carbs to create your own masterpiece. We absolutely loved that the sauce bar had suggestions on what to mix together to make the perfect sauce. Our server was extremely pleasant, helpful, and checked on us often through the experience. We definitely enjoyed it and will be back!

So glad a ACYE hotpot and Korean BBQ place is in Pittsburgh now! This place is slightly north of Pittsburgh proper but easy to drive to. Everyone at your table either chooses to do Korean BBQ or Hotpot and there are SO many choices I had trouble choosing between my dishes! I enjoyed all the broths my table ordered and the sauce bar has many combinations to choose from. Sliced meats were good and great cuts, along with very fresh vegetables and classic Chinese hotpot tofu's and other sides as well. I was extremely happy with the options. Boba and alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase. Very spacious, clean, and very efficient. Our server was very attentive to when we wanted to order more dishes and this experience makes it more convenient than making hotpot at home! Highly recommend this place and good for large groups as well. Making a reservation ensures faster seating but the wait isn't bad either during non peak times.

You have your choice of either Hot Pot or adding Korean BBQ, and we did both. First we ordered our broth, then all the ingredients we wanted to add to our Hot Pot. After that we made our own dipping sauce, which was fun Both the Hot Pot and the BBQ were delicious, all using quality ingredients. Our server was very attentive and refilled our drinks and also switched in a clean grill twice. We had an enjoyable evening and loved the food.

The brunette mentioned she had only been there for five days, but you never would have known it. She did an excellent job checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the 3-bone rib dinner with mac and cheese. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a rib snob, but these were outstanding. They had the perfect glaze with a nice crisp on the outside, weren't overcooked, and were so tender but not falling off the bone without being overly fatty. Easily some of the best ribs I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good, but it was spicier than I could handle. It would be nice if there were a non-spicy option available. We enjoyed a few beers, great food, and sat out on the patio listening to blues music on a beautiful summer evening. It was the perfect atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back. The only downside is that parking can get a little tight when they're busy, but it's well worth the visit.

Food and drinks are ready in just a few minutes and the dining area is ample with clean tables and clean floors. An upgrade of plastic utensils would be appreciated however. Unfortunately, my experience was not great...not totally awful, but there is lots of room for improvement. I stopped in around 1:00 on a Saturday, and it was still kind of hard to park in their tiny lot. To a person, the staff all seemed annoyed to be there, and that kind of flavored my experience. They have lots of interesting items on their menu for a BBQ place - pork buns, etc. - but for my first meal I went with the basics. I ordered a brisket sandwich, the mac-n-cheese, and a coke. I was given a number to put on my table, and then sat down. The sandwich was soon delivered, but no side. When I asked about my mac-n-cheese I was told "it's coming later" in a less than friendly tone. The brisket was a bit dry and chewy, and there was nothing else on the sandwich. The mac-n-cheese was far less impressive. This was not a scoop of grandma's baked goodness, but something more institutional...basically boiled pasta with a bland and watery sauce. Everyone can have a bad day, so I will likely give Mitch's another shot, but I was not happy during my first visit.

I greatly regret having to write this review. I contacted Two Brothers Barbeque some time ago to…read morecater my wedding. Initially, I had a wonderful experience. The individual I worked with, Terri, was initially responsive and accommodating and made me feel at ease about booking this business. I put down a deposit in early November. Later in November I reached out for some more information to aid in the planning of my wedding reception. However, I never heard back. I was not unduly concerned because this is a barbeque business and I thought this might be their "off-season". I assumed they would get back to me when they were able. I did not hear back from Two Bothers Barbeque, even when springtime rolled around, so I called them a couple of times. I did not hear back. At this point, I got concerned because our wedding was in only three months. I was eager to speak to them to have some questions answered. My fiancé suggested we drive to the business, so we could connect with them. When we drove to the business, we were rather dismayed to see many signs stating "Business for Sale." There was a phone number on one of the "For Sale" signs, so I called it and said that I had seen their "For Sale" signs and was interested in talking about this. At this time, I did not tell them my name or state that I was a client. I got a return call pretty immediately. When I received the call-back, I explained that I had emailed and called the business without hearing back, and that I was concerned that the business was for sale, as we were counting on them catering our wedding. The gentleman on the phone (the owner, I believe) said they were retiring and were winding down the business, but that they planned to honor all scheduled events. He said he would have Terri call me. I was extremely relieved - but only for a short while. Terri called after several minutes. I explained the situation to her. I told her that I was concerned because I hadn't received a response to my email or phone calls and then saw that the business was for sale. She said that the catering part of the business was for sale, as well as their food trucks, but they would still honor their contracts for the summer. However, she then said she would just refund my money if I was uncomfortable. I was taken aback - I had said nothing about cancelling the contract and was really just nervous about the prospect of the business being sold. I received no kind of apology for the lack of communication. Terri said that she hadn't responded to my email in November because I sent it too close to Thanksgiving and that she never received my phone calls. At some point during this conversation, Terri became quite hostile, raising her voice and becoming accusatory. She blamed me for the lack of contact and did not take responsibility for failing to respond. The situation became truly unsettling; in fact, may I say, deeply shocking. Terri did say that she had some medical concerns, which I do sympathize with. However, I have had a number of medical issues, some of them quite serious, and I have never treated a client this way. Ultimately, I stated that she could cancel the booking and send the refund, which was what she appeared to want to do in the first place. It really seemed like she did not care too much about the business or leaving us in a precarious position of having no caterer for our wedding. I left the phone call truly bewildered and told my fiancé I was sorry and that I had lost the caterer for our wedding. He said, "You shouldn't be sorry. You did absolutely nothing wrong." (He had been listening to this conversation.) We went home and brainstormed new possibilities, and, luckily, found another local business that was more than willing to cater for us. They have been a dream to work with. I know this review probably does not matter because Two Brothers is retiring from catering, but it is important that people be careful when dealing with this company. If you have a current date booked with them, please considering making a back-up plan. I'm not sure this business cares to uphold its promises, nor does it take responsibility for its own actions. Please be prepared for the worst-case scenario.

What they do well is consistency and customization. You get six different sauces, and they actually ask whether you want your meat lean and dry or juicy. I went juicy, and my portions were flavorful, tender, and satisfying. I ordered the beef brisket and pulled pork, and also tried the pulled pork sandwich. Solid across the board.
