Probably my favorite Americanized Chinese buffet at the moment. The outside of the restaurant looks kind of dingy but don't let it turn you away from trying this place. All the food here was very fresh and was always being resupplied. I noticed they kept the food fresh by only putting out small portions at a time. The crab Rangoons, beef teriyaki, shrimp, dumplings, and orange chicken tasted great! It seems they change what is served throughout the week. Will be back.

Came for the buffet ($19) on a Sunday and the food quality here exceeded my expectations. There were only a couple animal items that were tough. The chicken was surprisingly white and juicy. The crab rangoons were so good! Warm inside, creamy and a crunchy outside. Loved the Mac & cheese, plaintains, anything on a stick, and fried shrimp. Unfortunately, the sushi was tasteless - probably old and the pizza was nasty. Service was excellent. The ladies there were so friendly and they were constantly keeping an eye on the food to keep it replenished.

    Assorted appetizers from the buffet.

Your typical assortment of Chinese food. Nice and fresh and the buffet is constantly refilled and kept nice and clean. Servers are quick to clear away used plates and refill water, etc.

Best Asian buffet in Rhode Island. Owners manage with an iron fist and the consistent quality is proof.

Sesame shrimp got me hooked! The differences of items between lunch and dinner make it worth doing the dinner option.

Ask the Community - Hong Kong Buffet

About how many different food items at buffet, and what kind of seafood do they offer?

Many choices, from Mac& cheese, chicken, pizza, green beans, bok choy, shrimp, salmon mussels, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, onion rings, fries, broccoli You name that have it..

Does the Buffet offer a wide variety of flavored Fried Chicken? (like general tso and sesame)

Jordan, most nights general tso is only chicken of that style. The do offer a panko breaded fried chicken which is excellent. Using white meat.… Read more

Downtown joint dabbling in both old school Chinese American classics and authentic dim sum. Most of…read morethe Yelp photos hit the dim sum, but most of the customers in the large room stick to memory lane. The place is divided into two halves: tiny bar and three rows of booths on one side; large tables with chairs on the other side. Combo plates available both at lunch (M-F) and dinner (any time). -- Sticky Sweet Soy Garlic Sauce Wings: Wow-worthy, with the darkest sauce I've ever seen, looking like someone poured Hershey's syrup on them. Characteristics of teriyaki, soy, and garlic, and intense sweetness, but all balanced and very different, and there may even be Hershey's in there afterall. More importantly, quite delicious. The wings themselves were really good too, bringing firm to crispy skins and tender, juicy interiors. The sauce hardens over time, so eat these fast. But you'll want to anyway. Near-elite to elite. -- Rice Noodle with Shrimp: Lackluster compared to other versions I've tried. Noodle not as fresh and slippery. Sauce not as flavorful. Shrimp were good but spaced out. Below average. -- Sweet and Sour Chicken (on a dinner combo): Ping pong sized/shaped balls of chicken instead of the usual fingers, but these were excellent. Very high meat to batter ratio, good crispness to the exterior, and decent tenderness inside. Sauce served in the side. No pineapples or cherries, but good contrasting flavors to the sauce and no glop. Well above average, even without the fruit. -- Pork Fried Rice (on the combo): A mixed bag, this had light grains with pleasant but subtle flavor, long-in-the-tooth dry pork nuggetry, and some onions. Flavorful or not, that rice had freshness, moistness, and bounce. All things considered, a little above average, but with potential for higher. -- Egg Roll (on the combo): Felt limp to the touch but had a delicate crispness to it. Inside, a mix of celery, cabbage, and pork, with decent flavor and a moo shi feel. Not bad. A little above average. Lots of ups and downs here, but a reluctant 4 stars thanks to the brilliance of those wings. I scouted plates on other tables on my way to the restroom and saw similar highs and lows, but more highs. Even if the potential goes unfulfilled (and I have higher hopes for the old school than the dim sim), the wings alone would bring me back.

They were good. We also got the aromatic chicken clay pot (delicious) and the black pepper steak. A dish of garlic bok choy completed the meal selection. Good food, nice flavors, good prices.

Everything we ordered was worth the money, money well spent! Had hot tea for the table which was refilled well, we didn't have to flag anyone down lol. Ck Fried rice was Smokey and flavorful. Beef sticks were flavorful, cooked perfect & all plates came hot and fresh. Ordered beef and a combo mee khathung aka latna aka Cambodian noodles in gravy which were both great. Lot rolls were plentiful and crispy. Chinese brocolli in oyster sauce cooked perfect and not overly cooked. Jalapeno ck wings were crispy, meaty and perfectly flavorful. Ordered rounds of Thai iced tea for the table too. Everything was A1. Def recommend for authentic Cambodian/SE Asian cuisine! Love that they have the round table spinners for larger tables too and leave the sauce caddy for you.
