I think if you order small, they have some pre-made but the large, they make it fresh. They were all meh. The kitchen may not look clean but I still come here because I like their cheung fun and the century egg congee. 3 stars because sometime when I call in to place an order and when I arrive, they said they forgot about my order. Happened a few times too. As soon I placed my order on the phone, it takes like 5-10 min to drive there. I always pick up too. So no bad record there. I call in sometime because I know it takes some time to stream them and so I wouldn't have to wait around too long since the place is small. Another issue that kinda annoys me a bit is when I walk in to order, they try to get me to order what's already made sometimes. I know it just came out but I would like my normal pork with veggie and eggs. I have no problem waiting and paying too, just want what I would like to get. Also when breakfast time is over...don't expect they would make some cheung fun the way you would like it. Like during late afternoon, even it's not closing time yet, they would just sell what they have left/made. Customer service may not be the best. I went in the afternoon during the week and was able to get one of the few seats that they do have in the place since it really is a hole in the wall kind of place. I heard the lady at the counter speak in Mandarin to the previous customer, however, she immediately identified me as being Cantonese and took my order in Cantonese. Not sure if they speak English here, but they do have menu items in English. Their menu is small - the name of the shop is Hong Kong Dimsum, but they only serve rice rolls and congee. Their rice roll options include, beef, pork, chicken, roast pork, salty chicken, dried shrimp, and cilantro. They also have different varieties of congees, including my favorite, pork with preserved duck egg. I ordered a large congee, 2 pork and egg rice rolls, and 1 beef rice roll. The congee and rice rolls were already made/packed when you get there - good for those who are on the run. But if you want to order something that they don't have already prepared, you'll have to wait for them to make it. The rice rolls were delicious. They don't taste like the ones you typically get from dimsum. These are definitely less greasy, thinner, and has more of that rice flavor.
