I got fatty beef, enoki, oyster mushroom, winter melon, Shanghai bok choy and tripe. I choice medium spicy for my level and it came in a giant tray!!! Might I mention the grand total was $32!!!! For dry hot pot there is a menu to choose the vegetables, meat, seafood,and noodles. For two we we ordered the following: Chinese cabbage($3.5),Chinese Bok choy ($3.5), Soy Bean Sprout ($3.5), rice cake ($3.5), Sliced lotus ($3.50)Shrimp($4.50), Fish tofu($4.50), Sliced beef ($5). Total of $31.5 which was not bad and we chose the less spicy option haha . We were so stuffed! The staff was friendly and came to change our plates several times and offered more water. My go to spot now for some cheap spicy soup with different varieties of noodles. It was only $10 for a big portion and you get to pick 2 types of meat to add in from the menu. I got the shredded beef and squid. Service was nice and explained everything to me and my bf and the food came pretty quick. FYI::: cash or Zelle Love that they have fixed price per item instead of per weight. Their spicy level is not for amateur. I'm southeast Asian and their mid spicy hit me strong. Next time I ordered mild and that will be my spicy level there from now on. The service is also very nice. They wrap the to-go tray tightly to prevent chili oil spilling. My go to dry spicy pot in Sunset Park area. I like how they price per item, instead of by the pound for each ingredient you add. Always feel like you end up paying more per pound since the employees tend to grab way more than what you ask for. Their medium spicy isn't that spicy in my opinion. Cleanliness seems to be an issue before they changed ownership but I've never had an issue with this place every time I go so I can't really speak on that. I really like Wu La Bu Huan. I've ordered delivery from here countless times and dined in a few times as well. Yesterday was one of those dine in days and we had a really good experience. The place was crowded but we got seated right away. We ordered our go-to order- dry pot with different veggies, some fish items as protein, and an order of spicy crab. Unfortunately the crab was sold out and they said they can make spicy shrimp instead, after some hesitation we agreed. The service and food was excellent, the staff were busy running around but when called over they came right away. The food came out quickly as well. One thing to note is if you ask for spicy. They will bring the pain! For many it might be too much but we love it. The drypot tasted really fresh and there was an abundance of flavor. The shrimp, whatever sauce they use for it is amazing. I gobbled down my food while blotting the sweat from my forehead (I wasn't kidding about the spice!). The portions are huge so we took the leftovers in a takeaway. Overall a 5/5 dining experience. However the delivery (via UberEATS) is sometimes inconsistent. We usually order the same thing mentioned above. Two problems to note: Sometimes there's missing protein - I'll order sliced fish in my drypot but it's no where to be seen They also seem to make substitutions at will - I'll order the Spicy crab but instead they send spicy shrimp which I'm assuming it means they ran out of crab. My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place out since there's limited places to get good dry pot as compared to flushing, Queens. I called ahead to place my order and even after looking at google reviews, there wasn't a clear menu but I've eaten at several dry pot esque places to know what they might serve and how to order. I called and asked for beef dry pot and I was expecting them to either have pre made dry pots to order or self order ingredients for dry pot. It was the latter and so I proceeded to ask for specific vegetables I enjoy. I ordered cabbage, potatoes, kelp, wide bean noodles, cauliflower, tofu bean curd and just beef for the meat. Note, when I initially called to ask if their dry pot comes with orders of rice they said no and I was fine with that. But after we finished taking down my order she said they'll gift us two orders of rice. I couldn't hear super well as we were on the road but I was pleasantly surprised and a little confused. So if you do order here just clarify if it comes with rice but they may also just gift you rice if you order a lot? Not sure. The total came out to $24 which was within my expectations. When I arrived to the store front for pick up, I was a little confused but you just have to step inside their front door and you're greeted with a large clear box used for exchange (also preparation was super quick I placed and received my order all within 15 minutes). It's a clear box where you open the door flap on your side to pay ** CASH ONLY** and then they lift up their side after u closed yours to retrieve the cash. Same for the placement of your food order. I was surprised at this contraption but I very much applaud them for this and taking safety measures seriously. Always glad to see that. As for the food itself it was mediocre at best hence the medium 3 star rating. The flavor wasn't all there as it was just al spicy. It was missing depth but I do have to say the portion size was HUGE for $24. So if you're looking to just curb your craving and eat a lot of spicy food then this is the spot! This is my second time coming here!!!!! I'm honestly disappointed it really not worth the money and time!!! Me and my friend went in at 7:10 it was packed so we thought it must be it goood! The only table left was near the window so we took it, and immediately start ordering. They only provide us some Asian peanut with no chopstick and plate (how did they expected us to flavored sauce peanut). They then move us to a table (which honestly is the best part of the service). We then waited for another 40 min for our food. I then ask them how long it will take they said ten min and walked away. Me and my friend start to realize the only reason it packed is because the food take mad long, three tables before us have not gotten their food. They also waited at least one hour (we see other people started to complain). We then ask them after one hour (other table still have not gotten their food) if they didn't make the food we don't want to wait anymore. They told us it cook we just need to fry it now. So we thought okay since it cook let just wait. We finally got our food after 1 hour and 10 min. When they came with the food, they still didn't provide us any chopstick or plate. We have to ask them for it, wtf is that no water and no utensils. When we ask them for the utensils the second time, my friend heard them talking shit about us asking for the utensils.
