Used to be Tasty house 18 品味 but now Hong Kong Eats 大家好。opened for about one year. Same convenience with free small parking lot in the back. They offer traditional HK eats such as ABC breakfast and afternoon tea, sandwiches, rice noodle roll, dim sum, noodle soup, main entrée such as rice and noodles, rice plates, baked rice, spaghetti, and roasted meat, such as Duck and Chu. ABC, breakfast and afternoon tea, sandwiches, rice, noodle roll, dim sum, noodle soup, main entrée, such as rise and noodles, rice plates, baked rice, spaghetti, and roasted meat, such as Duck and Chai Siu ( roasted pork). Price is considered reasonable to slightly higher. They do sell bakery items and it's on sale for $1.50 each after 5 pm. I can't judge for the tastes because I bought take out for someone else. I ordered the spam and egg sandwich $4 and Cantonese zongzi ( salty sticky rice with meat) $ 6.99. The sandwich looked decent. The zongzi was definitely overpriced for $7 considering its size. I waited 13 minutes for my order and they were not even busy. No line waiting at all. The lady staff was friendly.

The service was terrible, especially the older lady at the cashier -- she acted like I owed her money or something. The food wasn't great either. I ordered a "Yuan Yang" (coffee and tea mix), but she gave me just milk tea. When I told her it was wrong, she simply said, "That's what it is," and refused to change it. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Love the Wonton Noodle Soup here. At minimum I at least get the egg noodle with wonton. Recently I…read morewant back and did the 3 topping with wonton, dumpling, and dace fish ball. All were delicious! I have bought it and re-heated it up the next day as well and it still taste good! Tried the shark fin soup as well and it is thicker (not very soupy) but flavor is great. If you don't like the thickness you can always add some water to it. Definitely a go to spot if I am in the area :)

This is Hong Kong style done right, and in Flushing you're getting the real thing at prices that genuinely rival what you'd pay in China. We lucked into a nice day and grabbed a seat outside. Service was fast and furious, which is exactly what you should expect and honestly want from a spot like this. You're not here for a leisurely dining experience, you're here to eat something delicious and get on with your day. My one gripe, and it applies to the whole surrounding area and not just Maxi's: there are basically no bathrooms to be found. Plan accordingly before you commit to a big bowl of soup. Cheap, tasty, authentic. Everything a Flushing noodle spot should be.

Obsessed. It's perfectly crisp and tangy, and pairs so well with the noodles. I always order the chicken knife-cut noodles, they're comforting, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot, especially on a cold day. My daughter tried the kimchi seafood noodles, and that was a total win too. I've been coming here for years, and it's been consistently good every single time. A true comfort spot

I was told that the noodles are homemade, and the texture was chewy but not overly soft. If you get the order to-go, you best eat it ASAP because they do not separate the noodles from the broth. The bowl was filled with a bunch of clams, mussels, one shrimp, zucchini and carrot slices, and potatoes. The clams were flavorless and a little sandy, but the mussels were good. The broth was clear and flavorful, but not overly salty. The seafood pancake was good. Portion size is big, batter very crispy, it's oily but it doesn't feel that way when you eat it. Only con is I wish there was a little more seafood. You are given banchan of freshly fermented kimchi and radish kimchi. I prefer fermented pungent kimchi because I enjoy the sour taste, and though the radish kimchi was really chunky it was on the sweet side, so I wasn't a fan. The staff speaks Korean and Chinese.

This place is a little of a hidden gem and not quite like other Korean restaurants. But no gatekeeping here! We also came at a weird lunch time around 2pm so it wasn't really busy and we were seated right away. Once you enter, you'd quickly notice the very detailed beautifully hand painted murals on the walls and an abundance of painted butterflies. The attention to detail is impeccable! The menu is also very cute and I'm guessing handmade. It was pretty detailed and we appreciated learning about each dish before deciding what to order. We ended up ordering the Kimchi Pancake with seafood, the spicy bulkoki udon and the jeyuk udon. The kimchi seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with squid and shrimp! It also came with a semi sweet dipping sauce that paired nicely. Both udons came out piping hot and fresh! Udon had a nice chew to it, was loaded with vegetables as well as meat for each dish. The egg was fried and did not have a runny yolk. For sides, they gave us 4 things- a tomato salad, kimchi cucumbers, braised string beans, and bean sprouts. The tomato salad came in this cute apple shaped dish but neither of us really cared for it- this is completely biased though since we're not really fans of tomato. What we really did love was the kimchi cucumbers! Also at the end, they served us 3 pieces of cantaloupe which were very sweet. Overall, yummy food, cute shop, and friendly/nice staff! I'd come back to try their other food options in the future!

You order on iPad at the table, and the staff is available if you have any questions. When you confirm your order on the iPad, they will confirm with you. Service is friendly and helpful. The food came out quick! Their kitchen is in the basement and they have the dumb waiter sending up food, so very efficient use of space. The Dumplings in Chili Oil (can adjust spice level and cilantro) has added texture with crushed peanuts. We got the regular spicy, but could have gotten extra spicy. They were a decent appetizer but I'd go for something else. The Abalone and Chicken Rice Noodles had decent chicken flavor. There were a couple pieces of dark meat, which I enjoyed. Not sure if there was abalone in here, but if there was, it was nondescript. The rice noodles were well cooked. The Plum Juice had a lovely smokey flavor, along with a lemony flavor form the couple of lemon slices inside. It was not too sweet, though I personally could go for less sugar. Overall, a decent spot for rice noodles. They do have multiple locations, so go to the one near you! No need to go out of your way.
