The food is always excellent and the prices are very good. This is my go to for Chinese food and I've tried many here in frisco.

I had such high hopes for this place. We ordered $50+ worth of food. It was already cold when it arrived but we tried it anyway. All the fried appetizers were REALLY REALLY stale, like they were made early this morning or yesterday. Our food arrived at 5:30. The fried rice, our favorite, was dry, flavorless and plain, no veggies, just stale brown rice. And there was a hair rolled into the meat inside the cold, stale, fried wonton!!! SOOO NASTY!!! Best Chinese food I have had in a very long time. I ordered the Orange chicken and Mooshu chicken. Was very tasty.

General Tso's shrimp was Amazing. Fried perfectly and there was plenty of sauce!!!! Definitely going back often!

The food is tasty and portions are generous! we ordered the special for 2 (2 soups, 2 entrees, 2 egg rolls). Ordered the lo mein and lemon chicken with won ton soup and egg drop soup.. I really enjoyed the egg drop soup. So tasty. The won ton soup was okay but only one won ton In the soup. . We enjoyed the noodles and really love the lemon chicken! I'm thoroughly disappointed with the flavor of the food. Ordered Mongolian shrimp, garlic beef, egg drop soup. Everything was definitely lacking. Nothing was particularly interesting or worth trying again. The amount of shrimp was laughable. The crispy fried noodles that came with the egg drop soup were on the stale side. On the positive side, the lady who took my order was very friendly, as was the young lady who delivered it. It was also delivered in a timely manner. Honestly, I would probably avoid this place and go with Yum Asian Bistro right down the street. read more

LOVE the food here but they aren't wearing masks correctly and had a man sitting in the chairs without wearing a mask. I'm assuming he works here since he was on his phone but wasn't wearing a mask. I've eaten at Hong Kong Express for the past 6 years. I've tried other restaurants to find something comparable, and they all come up short. I'm not capping when i say this is my favorite restaurant in all of frisco. I get the lo mein every time i go and it has never failed to be perfect. The people here are incredibly polite and I love supporting family businesses which I assume this is. Lunch specials are FANTASTICALLY priced starting at $4.99 everyday before 3pm and the food isn't bad either. Portions are well sized too. It's very hard to find good Asian food up this far North but the kung pao chicken my bf got tasted good and was deliciously spicy. He ordered it on the lunch special with steamed rice. I on the other hand was taking too long to decide my order so I landed on the very Americanized dish too of sesame chicken with side of fried rice. I thought I'd try the fried rice out and it was nothing out of the ordinary. The sesame chicken came with a good amount of sauce which I appreciated and the chicken portion was great too. The taste was a bit different than what I expected but it was still good. It had a bit more bar b q taste to it and not too tangy. I would eat here again. Not near the best eat I've had at all but good to eat if in the area. The staff won me here but next time I'll try one of the more "authentic" Chinese dishes to get a better idea of this restaurant but in the meantime if you like typical Chinese American style food then you'll like this place. I have yet to have a single bad experience with this restaurant. Other than the fact that their phones are so busy, which I would expect. The food and the price go hand-in-hand and are of good quality. It's unbelievable how fast they are able to get the food ready no matter what we have ordered and it turns out great. read more

Went to texas during new years this year and decided to try this place out since it was close to where i stayed. Service was prompt and nice and not the mention the delicious food! I dont think you'll find better chinese food in texas! Its way better than panda express where they have all their food already made and sitting under a heat lamp. This place MAKES your order ON THE SPOT! So its fresh off the grill! While i was eating there i also noticed they do delivery and its the same routine! They make the food when you order it and have someone drive it out to you!! where can you get better service than that!??!?! Pricing is resonable too and they give generous portion too! It's classic American Chinese food. Which surprisingly has been hard to find since i moved to Texas. I absolutely love their rice noodle stir fry. Most of the poor reviews are from ordering in so i recommend ordering in person. Usually takes about 5 minutes for them to make it. They're very quick and it tastes great! read more

Ok I was here a year or 2 and rated it terrible. We ordered from here and I did not realize it was the same place. This is the worst Chinese food ever. 1) if you like egg rolls that is not what you get, you get spring rolls. 2) compare the picture of won ton soup to what I got. There was 4 wontons in the qt of broth. But all the wontons fell apart to mushy flakes of noodles. 3) the sweet and sour pork was deep fried pork nuggets with jar sweet and sour sauce. No pineapple, no carrots nothing. My wife ordered shrimp chop suey they said they were out. So she got shrimp chow main . NO chow main noodles in there it came with rice. It was a container of shredded cabbage and some shredded carrots. All was very soggy. It had about 8 shrimp. We did get 5 bags of fried noodles for the soup. With the 4 egg rolls we got 2 duck sauce. Good thing I threw mine in garbage. If you see the box of pork all went into the garbage. It was 1/4 soggy with bad flavor. The fried rice was dry with no flavor.I will NOT make this mistake again! Stay away go anywhere else go to Asian Bistro down the block. read more

This is just sad Chinese food. I was really craving sweet and sour chicken and hot garlic shrimp. What I picked up was an insult to these dishes! The chicken looked and tasted like a fried chicken patty from the super market cut into strips. I was shocked when I saw it. The garlic shrimp tasted nothing like garic at all. It tasted like vinaigrette and hot sauce. It was just the saddest experience with chinese food I ever had. We got it to go so we saw this all once we got home. I ordered for pick up on a Friday night thanks to their "#1 Chinese food in Little Elm in 2010" award. They do deliver to Savannah/380 area but add a $3 fee. The staff were pleasant to speak with, but the food... well... Egg drop/hot sour soups - Good! It was unfortunate to start on this high note then end with a disaster of a meal with the entrees. Dumplings - I think they threw them in the deep fryer, which was not a texture I like. I was hoping for thick-skinned chewy dumplings that are pan friend. Nope. General Tso Chicken - Not spicy AT ALL. There were a couple red chiles in the dish, but there was absolutely no spice whatsoever. The breading was okay and not completely overwhelming, but the lack of taste was undesirable. Garlic sauce w/ Beef - No garlic was in the sauce, nor dish, nor anywhere near this entire meal. How disappointing. This just tasted like celery and some bamboo. Fried rice - Dry with no toppings. There was one spec of egg. Egg roll - The only saving grace in this meal. Though it was overly oily, the wrapper is like a thing spring roll wrapper, which had good crunch. There is a Family for 2 Deal for $18.50, which is a great value. That's what we ended up ordering + dumplings. I don't think we'll be trying this place again. There was just no flavor at all! read more

I had a taste for fried rice and decided to give this place a try. I called in a takeout order of vegetable fried rice with tofu. I arrived here 10 minutes later, and it was ready as I walked up. For under $8, you get a large portion size. The meal had broccoli, water chestnuts, egg, and carrots (I think). The rice tasted ok, but it wasn't the flavor I was hoping to receive. What I did not like was the tofu. Normally, when I order a fried rice tofu meal, the tofu is lightly cooked with the rice. This tofu was literally deep fried. I had to pick all of the tofu out because there was no way I could eat it. I will not come back here unless I am really really really having a craving and want something in this area. read more

Before we knew it someone was knocking on our down in just 30minutes! The bag smelled incredible, filled nearly to the brim with boxes of food. Everything was delicious!!! When we lived closer, we ordered from here quite often, but now live a bit further and are very happy that they deliver to our area. This small restaurant is located in a nondescript strip center on 423. There isn't anything about it that would make you notice it much. But, it deserves attention. It gives good value for the money. The ingredients really are fresh. The portions are large (I had half of it for lunch and then the other half, from a box, for dinner!). I had the lunch special, Moo Goo Chicken. It came with 2 large mounds of rice and a fried egg roll. I paid for my meal with a $5 bill and I got change back. Now, THAT is v-a-l-u-e. My lunch companion had the Sesame Chicken. She pronounced it good. It didn't look overcooked (and think of how many times we have all had overcooked sesame chicken). She told me that it was NOT overcooked. Is this fine dining? Nope. Does it pretend to be fine dining? Nope. It just is what it is...a neighborhood carryout place. Fast, cheap and easy. This place appears to be one of 3 in what may be a local chain...I spent some time on google, trying to figure it out. The business organization is just inscrutable.
