A few days prior to dinner, I called KW Cafe to make reservations. They don't take reservations. However, I spoke with Joe (one of the managers). He was kind to put us at the top of the waitlist for that evening. Thank you Joe! Huge parking lot. Good interior space with 3 areas of seating... open eating area, covered and enclosed patio area, and few private rooms. On the day of our dinner, we were seated shortly after arrival. Very grateful for that. They get super busy all the time. Wait time could possibly be a good while. We got lucky that night. Staff was amazingly patient, attentive, and hardworking. We had two tables. They took our order quickly. The food for my table came out timely, but the food for the other table took a bit more time. Not sure what they all ordered, but perhaps certain dishes just take more time. I ordered the Mixed Seafood with Tofu that came with a bowl of white rice. Tons of fried tofu, but seafood was a bit skimpy. Love the black mushrooms. Flavor was on point. Portion could have been better. I probably won't get this dish again. I also tried the dishes that my Mom and cousin got. Shrimp and Eggs was fluffy with lots of big tasty sweet shrimps. Delish!
