    Sautéed Ong Choy (water Spinach)
    Yi C.

Came here to check out the lunch special menu. There were plenty of open seating and we were able to be seated very quickly. The lunch special menu has some great deals! We order the sautéed ong choy (water spinach), clams with basil sauce, and beef chow fun Hong Kong style for two. The lunch special menu also includes steamed white rice FOC and hot tea. The sautéed ong choy is perfectly stir fried and seasoned with plenty of garlic pieces. The clams with basil sauce are HUGE and once again perfectly seasoned. The beef chow fun (HK style) was a bit light on the seasoning, but tasted as expected. Overall, great value for some really good food! Portion wise, we only ordered three dishes and still had plenty of leftovers to take home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good service, and typical Chinese restaurant ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely will come back to check out their other lunch specials and as well as their lobster dishes. Considering how many Chinese eateries in the area, it's worth checking it out. Parking wise, the park spaces right in front of the restaurant can be filled up quickly as there are only about a dozen spaces, so the safe bet is to park at the large plaza parking spaces to the side of the restaurant.

Delicious food with great portion sizes and service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good place for a celebration dinner or a more casual one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the house special lobster with garlic noodles, crab asparagus soup, French style beef cubes, fried calamari, and small pea sprouts. Really liked all the dishes but the highlights for me were definitely the lobster and the beef.

We visited at 5 pm on a Saturday, and there was no wait thankfully. For dinner, we ordered the house assorted seafood soup, shrimp with walnuts, fish fillet with salt and pepper, and beef with Chinese broccoli. [[HIGHLIGHT]]By 6:30 pm, it got full inside the restaurant, so you'd get a better chance at finding a table immediately if planning to eat an early dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]By then, it was a little loud too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in a booth, so we needed to sort dishes around instead of using a rotating tray.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The best dish was the shrimp with walnuts. Interestingly, it tasted a little more tangy than the other versions of this dish that I've tried before. The fish fillet with salt and pepper tasted decent. Even with a light peppery flavor, I didn't have any issues with it lacking seasoning. The beef with Chinese broccoli was good too with soft slices of meat. Lastly, I thought the house assorted seafood soup had a good broth, but my family liked the contents more than me.

Somehow I always like this place. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is clean, well lit and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Foods taste great. Generous portions.

I came here the other day with my partner, and this is by far the best Boston Lobster location I've tried. Personally, I think it's much better than the Rosemead one. I've had a few experiences at Rosemead where the food didn't seem fresh (like the clams), so I was hesitant to try this location, but I'm glad I did. Overall, the food here was very good. The only dish that didn't stand out was the beef fried rice, which wasn't as good as I've had elsewhere. Everything else was solid. We ordered the Kung Pao chicken, which had nice crispy chicken, and the mapo tofu, which was very tasty, though not spicy at all, so definitely ask for extra spice if you prefer heat. Service, however, wasn't great. We went around 3 PM, and it was pretty slow...just us and a couple of other families, but it still took a long time for them to take our order, which was surprising. I'd come back for the food quality since it was decent, but the service could definitely improve. I'd give it a 4 out of 5. I didn't try the seafood this time, so I can't compare it directly to the Rosemead location in that regard.

The food came out fast and it was delicious. The basil clams were big and fatty in the pictures. Lobster is also one of our usuals and it never disappoints. You have to add the noodles on the bottom of it if you want it. We get it every time because it is coated with the onion, garlic fsauce and it's so good. We come here once a month, our usual dishes that we order is very consistent every time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No ambience, not very upscale, we just go for the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good, they gave us a dish cut up oranges at the end.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot for a family meal with their meal combos[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . I would recommend getting their lobster with garlic noodles too . Been to similar spots like this, but this one tastes less sodium and salt, which I like . It doesn't make me feel tired after eating

We wanna try new branch Boston Lobster and it didn't disappoint. We ordered Signature Lobster, it weighed 3,5 lbs with market price that day $34 per lbs. And let me tell you, there is no such a regret in ordering pricey food for your own good sake. Pea Sprout was a lot considered for 2 of us and we had it to go. Service was quick. Food that we ordered came in less than 10 mins. Though I did not impress the way one male staff toss one menu on table and making us shock coz it was making loud sound.

Love their AMAZING lunch specials which run until about 4:30pm Mon-Friday. $12.95 or $13.95. Got to try their shrimp garlic sauce. It was so good, loaded with so much shrimp and veggies. So good I got 1 more togo. Comes with rice and hot tea. They end the meal with fresh orange wedges. Service is always good!

Idk how I never knew there as a Boston Lobster here! Anyways, I have been going to Newport this entire time so it's a nice change to try a different place. I will admit that I probably prefer Boston Lobster! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is pretty spacious and accommodates large groups in the main diving area or in the separate walled off room areas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came on a Sunday right at morning and were able to seat 9 individuals. They have high chairs as well for the little ones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is pretty straightforward if you're used to Chinese lobster places. Everything's basically a shared dish! We got the medium lobster w noodles and it was perfect for 6 adults. We ended up taking home leftovers. Truly can't go wrong w lobster and noodles. It's an absolute must when coming here. We got the fillet fish with salt and pepper. This is nice sized crunchy fried fish that was easily shareable. The French style beef cube is a must as well. The meat pieces were pretty big but slightly chewy. I'm a fan of pea sprouts and it was a hit with our group. Probably the only vegetable we had. lol! Clams w basil sauce was yummy and the clams were a good size! We also got a plate of fried rice to share which was a good dish for the kids. It came with an assortment of different protein including pork(I think) and shrimp! Finally, got some fried tofu! Very silky on the inside and nicely fried on the outside. They were kind enough to hold a cake for us and provide us w clean plates and forks for cake cutting. Came out to like $360ish total and then added tip. Overall, happy w the food and service. Free parking in the lot.

I love this restaurant. It has moved to the top of my favorites. I love the Kung pao beef and the shrimp with garlic sauce. Excellent service. Tea is bought before you order. Lunch specials until 4:45pm. Generous portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nicely decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a WINNER!

Great place for authentic Chinese (Cantonese) style! Coming from Monterey Park / Alhambra Chinese spots, this place tops them all. This is very similar to Newport Seafood in San Gabriel, Rowland Heights, and OC. Excellent service, great fresh food, and made to order! Everything I tried was awesome. Lunch specials are the best bang for the buck!

Boston Libster offers a variety of delicious and authentic Cantonese food. Lunch specials we ordered (clam, fish, shrimp and tofu plus small pea sprout) were outstanding and are of great value ($14.88 each). The staff were attentive and check in as needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is clean, casual and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of parking available upfront. Highly recommended!

Their HK style food is authentic and delicious. We started with the hot and sour soup and it is literally the best version we have ever had. It had a bit of the Szechuan numbing spice and was a huge portion so we took half home. We also ordered their steamed rice rolls with shrimp and chive and you can tell it was made fresh by the wrinkles in the rice paper. The last item we ordered was their chinese sausage clay pot. It was exactly what we were craving. Crispy rice all along the edges with perfectly steamed rice, chinese broccoli and crispy chinese sausage. It was hard to choose because their menu was huge and we came late so we missed the pineapple buns but definitely need to try it next time. I also saw everyone ordering the lemon iced tea and realized it's because they do free refills! That's another need to try. I felt the value was really great and we definitely are coming back. Service was also great. The waiters quickly came over when you waved them down and they checked on you just the right amount of time. The decor inside is very cute and I love the retro style. Only complaint I would have is that we sat on the left side of the restaurant and there were quite a few mosquitos on the booth so we ended up sitting on one side.

It took about ten minutes for us to get a booth table, but we were waiting inside. The staff member called numbers firstly in Cantonese then in English. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.
