Cute Mom and Pop restaurant that has been in business for many years. The prices have increased and do not reflect that on the menu. I asked the owner about that. She was apologetic, but said that her prices on the food she purchases have increased. Although the food is made fresh, the wait time is always wrong. If they tell you 25 minutes, expect it to be at least 45 minutes. read more

I am very disappointed. Got beef and broccoli and it had plastic in it..general tso's was just like eating from a frozen dinner and the egg rolls weren't fried and crispy, they were doughy and not good. I never rate harshly, but I think I will stick with Main Moon down the way. read more

Best little Chinese spot in town. Don't let the strip store front fool you, they have great food in there. I've had their lo mein, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, generals chicken, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and chicken and broccoli. (Not all at once!) I would heartily recommend any of their food. The rice is hands down amazing, not the odd yellow color that a lot of Chinese places around this area offer, but true fried white rice. read more

The food here is mediocre, largely bland and without much good or bad to distinguish it. It is expensive given its quality, our takeout meal today of one lunch special (a small entree with rice and a can of soda), a small chow mein and crab rangoons ran us 20 dollars. My son was disappointed that the chow mein did not come with noodles as advertised, but only with white rice. Restaurant itself is in very poor condition and is obviously a takeout-only joint despite having tables. This was our first visit and we will not be adding it to our list of local restaurants. read more

I order from here frequently as I live nearby. It is delicious, cheap and fast. They also have vegetarian options, which I appreciate. The restaurant is not nice inside, but it's a Chinese takeout place - not a fancy sit down. read more

A quick look at the place, inside or out, and you will not think much of this place at all. Please do not let that fool you into turning your nose up at this place. The kitchen is open, you can actually watch them cook and they are clean, efficient, and everything is made to order. The food is the best Chinese Fast Food Take Out in the area. We drive the 25 minutes from Denbigh to get it and have tried many Chinese Fast Food places nearer to us and we just cannot do it. The food is great. I mean, a lot of Chinese Fast Food places are the same, and their dishes are no different here, pretty standard... It's the manner in which it is prepared and the ingredients they use that make the difference here. Their fried rice is actually my favorite fried rice in the seven cities. Is it the best food you ever had? No. Obviously it's not fine dining, and besides maybe P.F. Changs (which is meh), Chinese is not necessarily most peoples' thoughts on fine dining, so, if you're looking for good Chinese Fast Food, this is the place to go. We've tried all the others in the area and nobody lives up. Beware, there are other places nearby this one also named Hong Kong but they're not nearly as good. Go to this one, it's not much to look at and it's kind of hidden back next to the Big Lots but, it's the best in the area for sure... As evidenced by the fact that it's almost always busy for a tiny little Chinese Food place. NOTE: there has been a subtle but noteworthy change. They changed the beef they use and it is of lesser quality. But besides that, they have been consistently very good. Just a caution on the beef. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. My son and his family also patronize this restaurant. The food is great. This place is strictly for carry out. Although there are tables and chairs here and you can eat in, this place is not decorated for sit down dining. This is a family restaurant, and I've seen the children of the owner from the time they were little and watched them grow. They also do parties. We buy our Christmas eve food here for our celebration as I've gotten older and no longer prepare meals for large groups. Recommend it highly. read more

I've tried several local Chinese restaurants and keep coming back to Hong Kong. The food is great. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, as well. I'm not sure about the other guy's review below, but I will continue to go here for my Chinese take out! Seriously... how is this place even open?!? I mistook the reviews for another place for this one and boy was that a mistake. It looks like a bomb went off in the front of the restaurant. The food was terrible to say the least. Both the General Tso and the orange chicken were served like a soup, it was disgusting. I actually had to drain the watery "sauce" junk off of the food. Whatever manner of crap they put in the food I felt physically ill for the rest of the night. Never again... not even if it was the last Chinese restaurant on the peninsula... not even if I was paid to eat it.... I can't emphasize this enough. Just dont. read more

I love this family! They are the epitome of a hard working immigrant family. They make many delicious dishes and I have been fortunate to find them. Their decor needs much work but their cooking skills do not. The food is awesome! And I have traveled all over the country and abroad. read more

If you are looking for local take out Chinese food, I highly recommend Hong Kong in Grafton. I've been ordering take out from this restaurant for 19 years (that's probably somewhere around 100 times). The food is of quality, my entire family enjoys it, the young lady taking the orders couldn't be any nicer or friendly, and not once in those 19 years have they messed up my order, not once. (Jeez, you'd think the law of averages would kick in sooner or later with respect to order accuracy and they'd botch something sooner or later, but it hasn't happened). I concur with other reviews that the inside lobby/dining area of this restaurant is not visually pleasing. But I don't go there to dine, I go to pick up "take out" so this has never concerned me. I've had, or typically get: General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mien, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Won Ton Soup, Egg Rolls and or Steamed Dumplings. I love all of these items.
