Inside was the typical Chinese carryout, loaded with boxes and all the supplies they need for their business stored up front. The girl taking orders was American and spoke perfect English, which was a very nice touch! I opted for egg drop soup and chicken and broccoli. The soup was bland, not much flavor and definitely no touch of sesame oil to it. The chicken and broccoli was made with nice, fresh ingredients, but was beyond bland! Soooo boring!!! How do they mess up such an easy dish? The chicken was tender and seemed to be nicely velveted, but no soy sauce, ginger, nor garlic flavoring to anything. Soooo disappointing! This place has been here several years, but this is my first time trying it and this is why! This is my go to takeout Chinese place in Stafford. The food has been good so far, and I am hoping they can keep it up. The pepper steak is probably my favorite. It always tastes fresh and is piping hot when I receive it. The kids love the sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side. To the Point: Mixed review, some food better than the others, average in my opinion, but good price point First time I have tried this place as it is closer to my house, the price point was the deciding factor. The egg rolls (good size and fill) and combo fried rice were good. The hot and sour soup and combo Lo Mein were ok, the soup was missing the spice and the Lo Mein noodles were heavy on the soy, but I was especially disappointed with the the General Tso's Chicken. First thing I noticed was a very heavy garlic smell (I am a garlic lover) but was disappointed in this particular dish, no sesame seeds, and no chopped scallions, which I have usually had on most orders. On first bite, the chicken had no heat/spice, I was expecting some heat, but this time it was missing. The coating was a bit soft/doughy, (maybe not fried long enough?) and made this dish taste very generic. The location is convenient, wait staff was pleasant and nice, (taking it from a 2 star to a 3 star), and the food service was quick. All said, I'll probably give it another try in the future and order a different menu selection, as for this trip I will call it average. A co-worker told me about this place and how good it was. Went to order after work last night. When I got home to eat my food, I was super disappointed. I ordered the shrimp egg foo young and steamed broccoli w/ brown sauce. When I tell you the food had no flavor whatsoever and the gravy smelled burnt. Then for the side of chili oil for $.50 which they literally only give you like a half of teaspoon of is diabolical. Wanted to like them so bad but never will order for them again. General Tso's -- it's the best one I've tasted in the east coast. I'm really surprised that the chicken is fresh and I'm not eating just flour. There's actually meaty chicken and me and my husband shared one meal since it's a really good portion. The broccoli was really good too! I can tell it's fresh as I'm a broccoli lover hehe! I really appreciate that. I've seen past reviews saying it takes forever but the lady told me the wait was 15 mins after ordering on the counter and she was true to her word. You can also order ahead if you don't want to wait 15 mins after ordering. I will definitely comeback! I'm giving 4 out of 5 cause of the ambiance. I wish there's at least some seats to eat and dine. This has been our go to Chinese restaurant for the past year . We started going regularly (2-4 times per month) when Lin's closed. I actually prefer it here. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Our food is always ready when they say it will be and always delicious. I like the spring rolls here vs our old place. We checked out a couple other Chinese restaurants, but like the prices and service here better. As I sit here eating leftovers from last night I wish I had taken pictures of the beef with broccoli, shrimp lo mein, won ton soup, spring rolls and steamed dumplings. The ONLY complaint I have is the last time I ordered fried tofu with vegetables and got steamed tofu. Also, there is no seating to eat there. read more

Ate here a few times and they are not that bad. I think their general tso chicken is OK, it's not crunchy. It's soggy and I think that's due to the lid being closed. I love getting the house special egg foo young, its just 3 egg patties fried with mixed meats. The lo mein here is pretty good and the fried rice is awesome. The rice is always soft , not hard. We also have ordered the pan fried noodles and that was delicious. They should put the noodles in a different container though. Happy family is pretty good as well. Crab Rangoon and spring rolls are awesome too. I think im liking this place better than China Wong. read more

Used to be our go to Chinese place. In the past couple months, they must have increased the delivery order minimum. We have tried several times to call and place our order (totaling about $45) and we always get to the point where they tell us the price and then say "oh, sorry we're not actually delivering tonight. You come pickup?" This is after we've asked for delivery, said our address (which they have on file by our phone number because we've done this many times before), and gotten through our whole order. Notably, we've always tipped the drivers well. So, I'd recommend not wasting your time trying to order from here unless you have a large enough order that is worth their time. What a nightmare. Ordered 2.5 hours ago online, called an hour after and was told it was 'on it's way' an hour later I called back and was told my number, saved in Google pay for years, was wrong, but they called because my card was declined. Unlikely, on the card and they clearly just changed a digit in the phone number to tell me it was wrong. Anyway, when I asked why I was clearly lied to the first time I called I was told, they have a lot of customers, so I guess they just lie. When I asked what we could do about it, I was hung up on, when I called back, I was repeatedly placed on the counter indefinitely. The food is alright. Steamed or Pan fried dumplings are good, much more meat in the middle than other places in stafford. Egg foo yong, is good, Lo Mein, Fried rice -and their Soups are good.
