My schedule is often times pretty hectic and they truly do their best to accommodate. They have a great incentive plan for children to keep motivated with caring for their teeth. Amazing orthodontics office! I came here late into high school with an overbite and lots of bite misalignment and within 1.5 years doctor Hong was able to fix all of that. He realized my time crunch as I was heading into college and made sure to have everything ready for me to be brace-free. I went to Dr Hong for my braces and ended up recommending my friend to his office as well. The staff as a whole are always courteous and considerate and make you feel comfortable. They have English as well as Korean speakers which is a plus, and they work as a well-oiled machine. Dr Hong always smiles and seems in a good mood which helps with the fear of the ortho trip. No one in the office ever makes you feel rushed or stressed. He was also very thorough in explanation during the initial consultation and gave a respectable first impression which lasted throughout my time being treated by him and his staff. Dr. Hong is a really great orthodontist who is very friendly. Everyone in his office is also very very nice and approachable! This is my second time having braces and the whole experience was much better than the first experience (different orthodontist). In terms of facility, cleanliness and professional experience, Hong Orthodontics maintains a qualitative atmosphere. The only downside I've experienced with this office is that they don't remind you of your appointments. I have been going here for my Invisalign treatment so I only come in every 6 weeks. I missed one appointment because it slipped my mind and they never called to give a courtesy reminder. I informed them of this and they said if i missed another appointment, I would be charged a fee. So be sure to mark your appointments in your calendars!! Overall though, Dr. Hong is a great facility for families and he engages his patients with fun contests like guess the weight of pumpkins (for halloween to win an Amazon giftcard) and "How well do you know Dr. Hong?" ---- *UPDATE* Bumping my review up a star since they have since fixed their answering machine/notification system and I receive text message reminders with specifics for my upcoming appointments! I have completed my braces and now in my retainer phase. For the whole 2 years I have been to Dr. Hong's office, I have enjoyed my visits. The staffs super nice and very polite, unlike some of the snappy medical staffs I have encountered elsewhere. There are two locations, one in Irvine and the other in Orange. Both are run by same staffs (they open one location for half a week and shift), so you can attend to whichever location is convenient for you. I have been to both, and each office is nice and clean. Usually I get nervous and uncomfortable in any sort of hospital related environment, but this office makes me feel relaxed and chill. There's always some sort of snacks or coffee and water. And with soft music in the background, I just sit back and daydream or something. Once in a while, there is a special event held with prizes. Last time I recall was guessing the weight of pumpkins in a basket? The ones with closest estimation win. There are several winners and they win gift card as I remember. And as for the doctor himself, he is the best. He obviously knows what he's doing. I actually got introduced to Dr. Hong through my brother, who had a special case for his braces. All the previous orthodontists gave up on him and it was Dr. Hong who succeeded. So job wise, he is perfect. And pretty chill guy as a person as well. He will consider your opinion important. Very easy to approach, and will answer all of your questions. This place is very reasonable with the prices, and I highly recommend to whoever is thinking about getting his/her braces done. read more
