I wish I could give this business more than five stars. It's every pet owners nightmare, but it happens eventually. When my dog Abby passed away, it was the middle of the night and I had no clue who to call. I searched for a place that was open and Honor Thy Pet answered my frantic call for help at 1am. Bryan was the incredible employee that came to our house that night. He was extremely understanding, sympathetic, kind and patient with us. Her ashes were hand delivered to us by Bryan within a few days. Along with Abby's ashes, they gave us some wildflower seeds to plant in memory of Abby, some rosemary to sprinkle with her ashes and a lovely note that brought tears to our eyes yet again. Honor Thy Pet is truly a blessing to all pet owners. I cannot stress this enough! Thank you again

I have been cremating my babies since 1995. Each have matching boxes... engraved plaques. In Ohio, we had the honor of going to Pines Pet Cemetery And Cremation Center in New Lebanon. My husband and I are of the mindset that we as parents take the body in... not the vet. It is our parental duty but that's just our opinions. Wow, you talk about a nice cemetery! They have bell towers, a church... statues... Then I, my husband and 5 dogs move to St. Pete, Florida and when the time came, I went to the pet cemetery here in town (Foster's Pinellas Pet Memorial Gardens & Cremation Services). So run down and awful. The first couple of times, the people were nice but after that.... They even lied to me about the price of cremation. That's what you get when you leave me alone with the price list in view after yhou just quoted me a price, folks. Just an awful place. Two weeks ago when a pet passed, I googled and found Honor Thy Pet. MY GOD, where have I been? The only downside is one of the chicks that answers the phone is kinda.... Well, she isn't a good actress. You are suppose to act like you feel my pain, know what I mean? The money they make is put BACK into the business.. the vehicles they arrive, the uniforms. Super professional all the way. My only wish is that they had a less than 1 lb. price. Cremating a fish and say.... a hamster begins at one pound. I don't know.. doesn't seem right but anyway, I'd GLADLY refer these people anytime. What a pleasure to know this company exists. I cannot even imagine a better job on earth than helping fellow pet lovers.

I am so glad that Honor Thy Pet was available for me to use.

I have been dealing with a pet with an end-of-life condition. One of the things that was stressing me out initially was trying to figure out what I would do if my pet passed away at home. What do you do in that scenario? I don't have a yard I could do a burial in. Taking his body to the vet's office is an option I suppose but what if they are closed for the night or weekend? When I found out about Honor Thy Pet I was intrigued. They've been in business for over 10 years and are owned/operated by a licensed funeral director. I called them for more information. One of the first things the woman on the phone told me was "Don't worry" and that they could help. You can call them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for assistance. They will come to your residence and retrieve your deceased pet for you and arrange for a cremation. Knowing that brought me so much peace of mind and was one less thing that I had to worry about. I also thought the quoted prices were reasonable. I ended up not having to have them come to my residence because I chose to use Lap of Love for in-house euthanasia. However, because I chose the private cremation option Lap of Love took my pet and transferred him to Honor Thy Pet. A few days later I received a phone call from an Honor Thy Pet representative informing me that my pet's ashes had been delivered to my veterinarian's office. The ashes were stored in a tasteful, sealed wooden box. I also received a certificate verifying the private cremation as well as a comforting poem that had my pet's name printed on it. I'm glad that I live in an area where services like this are available. Thank you Honor Thy Pet for making a terrible time a little easier!

This past week a friend lost her Yorkie. I called Honor Thy Pet they came to my house at 10pm to pick Daisy up. The gentleman that came was so respectful of my emotions. Explained everything. Today I went to the office to pick up the ashes and urn. Everyone there was great. Even one lady came to the car to pay her respect to my friend. I highly recommend this for your furbaby in a sad emotional time. I know none of us want to think about losing a furbaby family member but I'm glad to know there is this wonderful company to help us out.

Our buddy "at work" the day before he passed.

The gentleman that delivered Clyde back to us in his urn was amazing and understood how distraught we were.

First, I'm not sure why he himself did not call us to let us know he was running late, instead we had to call THEM and Cindy answered very apologetic and told me he was running late not once, but twice. 2. The dogs did look and smell good, but for $55 there was nothing special done (no bandanna etc), I could have bathed them myself in baby shampoo. There really wasn't any "care" or going above and beyond with this service. 3. After the service was done, when it came to pay he expected me to pay him in cash because his phone plug in for the card may or may not have been working, according to him. If your website advertises that you accept multiple forms of payment, and no prior notification was given that your card payment processor is down, then you should be prepared to accept any form of payment that you advertise. After multiple tries and about ten minutes later, the card payment worked. Side note, he came back over an hour later saying one of us did not pay but then said he forgot one of us paid using cash. 4. No notification of what was done to the dogs was given, he stood there with blank stares waiting for one dog after another. No, "he was shampooed, nails trimmed, and brushed" or anything of that description. The attitude and demeanor of the man was below par and definitely not even adequate customer service. Maybe it is time for said man to retire or hire more staff so that you don't run the risk of being late to appointments, as I've seen this issue reoccurring in other reviews. Overall the experience was not great. It wasn't awful but I really don't have much else to say positively unfortunately. I really wanted to like them because Cindy seemed so pleasant to communicate with. But waiting 5 weeks for this appointment, for lack of better words, was not worth it.
