Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, many options, and great value. You get A LOT of food for your money. For my first time trying Honu Poke, I went with another person and I built my own poke bowl while he got a pre made one. the food itself tasted really good -- there were plenty of protein options and toppings available to choose from, i loved the customization. I think this is the best poke in the area. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be returning!

A quick takeout order and pickup experience that was made enjoyable thanks to the friendly staff. Exceptional portion sizes and great ingredient options for a very reasonable price compared to other poke spots I've tried. I also like the to-go container and carriers they use. Just look at the size of this Jumbo orb of deliciousness! So big I had to get a plate to put underneath so that I could catch some of my many fixin's. Everything was fresh tasting even though I ordered 30 minutes to close. Good to now know that such a solid poke place is nearby.

I noticed this place just opened sometime ago when I went to Jefa Tacos. I'm glad that I was finally able to come and try one of there bowls. The place is very clean and the employees are very nice. They don't have a very large selection of choices but I was okay with what they had. The selections are very fresh and not to mention the bowls are loaded with protein and vegetables. For the price you can't beat it. Around $14.00 out the door compared to Poke Bros I would choose this place all day long. This will be my new Poke Bowl alternative from now on. I picked the build your own bowl and compared to the other poke places I got twice as much. It's was delicious. $13.69

Custom 3 protein bowl. Spicy tuna, grilled chicken, squid salad. Bunch of addins. Lava blaze and unagi sauce!

The place was very clean and that misses behind the counter was pleasant. The food was finished early (I was there already) and when I got home to take a bite, it was AMAZING. If you're out on awesome poke, get down here. This was my first time, and they just hooked me.

We were excited to try this place! It was delicious!! We loved it so much we went back again the next day. They give you very generous portions of fresh fish and the toppings and sauces are delicious! We will be back! The packaging is also adorable. The bowl is also nice to shake it all up if you want!

FULLY LOADED At…read moreNaperville's Poke Bros, your order can be as simple and straightforward as you like, or absolutely loaded with extras. When my wife and I are craving sushi but don't want traditional maki rolls, we'll pickup carryout from this place on Route 59 & Hassert in Naperville. Poke Bros is near a Melting Pot fondue joint and a Warhammer nerd rendezvous (sorry, it's the truth). I'd venture a guess we order poke bowls once a month or so, that's how much we enjoy them. I usually get a custom poke bowl with spicy tuna ($11.50), but you can also get regular ahi or marinated tuna. Preset choices include "the Hula" ($12) with shrimp & crab stick, or the "Johnny Utah" ($12.50) with salmon & avocado. I *have to* believe the owners of Poke Bros were fans of the 1991 action movie Point Break, as Keanu Reeves' character is named....Johnny Utah. There's no other explanation, or Google result! If you're feeling bold, you can opt for squid salad in a poke bowl. For those not interested in sea creatures, there's an option for chicken ($10). They even offer kids bowls ($7), which is the exact same thing albeit a smaller portion. Miso soup is available for $3. When making your own poke bowl, you first select a base (sushi rice, brown rice, or salad), then pick a protein, main ingredients (corn, tofu, ginger, carrots, pineapple, edamame, cucumber, scallion, sweet onion, jalapeno), sauce (ponzu, gochujang, wasabi aioli, coconut ginger, sweet chili), and toppings (sesame seeds, crunchy onion, wonton chips, tempura flakes, crushed cashews). You can add mango, avocado, seaweed salad, or fish roe for $1 extra. Their listing of mochi (Japanese ice cream) gets longer every time we visit. You can get 2 for $4, or 3 for $5.50. I've counted over TWENTY flavors so far: vanilla choc chip, red bean, strawberry, espresso, salted caramel, purple ube, coconut, earl grey, passion fruit, belgian chocolate, lychee, green tea, mango, black sesame, hazelnut, cake batter, banana pudding, açaí, and something called 'hojica'. That's a hell of a selection! * TL;DR * When the mood strikes us, Poke Bros has been a reliable choice. As much as we love these guys, I'd put them a tick below the Bolingbrook Poke Bros (on Boughton near I-355). That location has slightly nicer folks and gives "frequent eater" stamps towards a free poke bowl after 10 purchases. This one doesn't offer that perk, and most of the time the staff just hands over my bag of fish without any pleasantries. Come for the customizable poke bowls, stay for the impressive (and delicious) assortment of mochi. We'll be back.

I had a little time to look at the interior and people watch. It was a younger crowd and probably data night for a few. Interior did remind me of trendy hip style you see in some sushi places. When I got seated the waitress was helpful pointed a few things out and showed me the conveyer and the ordering tablet. I was looking forward to trying the rotating meal options off the conveyer belt. I have been to a couple of these style places before. Now I did see they were going to stop serving before the actual close time so I wanted to dig right in and get a few things. I ended up with 3 places which were ok a spicy tuna, tuna nigiri, and one of their custom rolls. Fish tasted ok and rice was not dry. I waited and watch for about 10 minutes for other things of interest to rotate around and there really wasn't much(not much on the conveyer or new things being put out) I ended up going to the tablet to just place orders there, which was a little bit of a bummer. I like the mystery of what is going to come around the conveyer next and trying something random. It was around 8:15 and I wanted to make sure I got food before they closed kitchen. The delivery for the tablet ordered sushi was on a little vehicle that rolled out on top of sushi conveyer, which was cute I could seek kids getting a real kick out of that. I decided to try a ramen which ended up being hand delivered. Soup was not hot it was more just warm which didn't work great with the noodles. They have to sit a little to soften up. I think it would have been better if it was hot. I could have probably just ordered the ramen alone because I did end up with too much to eat. Be careful how you order. If I was to go again, I would definitely try to go earlier to give more time on the conveyer maybe closer to 5. The place is a little far away for me to just do a causal meal so I will probably stick closer to my local favorites. If i was taking 3-4 folks out I might go for the place as a fun dining out place. Parking not a problem. Staff was pretty friendly and they did a good job of cleaning up after people dined. Prices were in line for other rotating type sushi bars I have been around Chicago. Most plates fell between $4-10 depending on what you got.

The only thing is if you can't finish everything they charge extra for the waste. Best to order a few things at a time and finish these before ordering more. There's a pretty good variety. It's about $20 for the special at lunch. There's sushi rolls, as well as miso soup and salad. A good variety of rolls to choose from. The ones we ordered included the asparagus, pickled radish, and shiitake mushroom. All were good. The rolls were filling just enough to be able to get more. For sure the best time to come is at lunch. It's closed Sundays. There's plenty of choices for seafood eaters as well as vegetarians.
