    Brunch Buffet at Kanami 6/14/26

Me and my Husband tried this place for the first time today. It's a Sunday and we arrived at around 1:20pm. There were about 3 people who were already dining when we came. We decided to try their brunch buffet. Here are the key things that we have observed and wish they improve: 1. There were not enough plates and silverware for guests considering that this is a buffet service. We had to ask for a fork. Guests were also asking for plates and silverware as no staff was managing the buffet. This things are very basic. 2. Several items were almost empty. There were only 2 pcs egg rolls left, rice is almost gone. We asked staff to refill the egg rolls but it took around 45 minutes before egg rolls were finally replenished. 3. They have Kare-Kare, but there is no sautéed shrimp paste or Ginisang alamang that goes with it. We told the female staff and she said " everyone has a different way of serving Kare-Kare." Who serves Kare -Kare without Ginisang alamang???? 4. They serve beef tapa but even their spiced vinegar bottle is empty. 5. No one replenishes nothing which means very poor service. 6. Even the lady who served us our drinks was not wearing proper attire. She was wearing athletic/running shorts that looked like she just woke up and went straight to work. They told us they are giving us 20% discount for first time customers. So we paid a total of $48 for 2 adults. There was nothing special about their food. But the service and overall experience was very unsatisfactory. Are we going to recommend this place? After our first hand experience today, no.

I love their Halo Halo and Coco De Pan. Their Eggs and Longgonisa is heaven. Definitely my go to for Filipino eats.

I walked in and said hi to the crew, no one said anything (wondered if I was not loud enough? ) Took no joke 15 min to finally get my drinks I was on the run and just passing through Aurora so i was somewhat inpatient. I like the industrial vibe with a plenty of natural light and seating options. It's a place conducive for computer work or a social meet up. Drinks are average.

My sister had a lemonade, my mom had a chai, my dad had black tea, and my brother in law had a strawberry matcha. My son got a butter croissant which he was kind enough to share some with us haha. They brought our drinks out to us which was nice! Everything we got was delivered fairly quickly and was SO good, we all really enjoyed our drinks. Nice vibes in here too. And clean bathrooms. Glad I got to try it!

Terrible. Go elsewhere or you'll be sorry!…read more I was in the area early one morning with my mom and sister so we decided to go for breakfast. I wanted to go to Cracker Barrel, but my sister wanted to try something new so we ended up at this restaurant. There was only one other patron eating when we arrived. Looking back, that should have been our first clue that this wasn't the place to be. Our server/hostess was nice but she literally only took order and brought us our food. I opted for the hash browns, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs and toast. First off, the toast was Texas Toast which was odd... it was much too thick, but it didn't matter because it was burnt. They also didn't put butter on it right when it came out of the toaster so it was dry and cold upon arrival to the table. The hash browns had no flavor, but the ketchup and salt/pepper helped make them edible. The eggs were okay as well, but the turkey bacon was gross. It tasted like rubber. I have no idea what brand it was, but it was obviously some cheap off brand. The orange juice was so bitter that I had to exchange it was apple juice. My mom had hash browns, eggs, sausage and pancakes. She didn't care for her food much either. My sister had the corned beef hash, eggs, hash browns, and toast. She loved the corned beef hash and thought everything else was okay. Ultimately, she agreed that we should have gone elsewhere. The restaurant was clean and quiet except for the noise from the television. The bill was about $50 for the three of us. The quality of the food is obviously lower tier. IHOP would've been a better choice and that's not even a place I'd ever even consider visiting.
