First visit. Went for lunch. Very good pulled pork sandwich. Super fast service. Very large selection on the menu including salads if you're not in the mood for barbecue. Nice homey atmosphere. Wasn't interested at lunch time but they do have beer and cocktails.

Great food and service! Great food spot before heading to longwood gardens. I got the pulled pork sandwich called the Hoodie and it was delicious! Also the corn fritters are a must. The crème brûlée cheesecake was amazing! Overall really enjoyed dinner here.

What a stellar revamp to this place! Last time I came here, the diner was a tad forgettable and old timey, but I came in today because the food was legit, and they blew me away! The whole place has a diverse and incredible theme, a delicious menu, and a bunch of great staff. Not only did the onion petals impress as an appetizer, the namesake BBQ ribs were the best I've had in years. The eating space, even for the table for two we had, was spacious and sturdy. Wi-Fi is free here, which is great since the area is no signal. The price is pretty fitting, but the portions you get are supreme. Everything comes with a variety of sides and salads, and despite having only wooden chairs, they were pretty comfy. The restaurant even has a little shop section where you can get merch of them, but also their house made BBQ sauce! Staff is super helpful and friendly. A true 5 star experience! Go into the bathrooms for a surprise too. The interior designers went crazy!

I came here at the request of a friend of mine and I know he likes BBQ. I've lived a few years in TX, so I think my tastes are a little more picky than his, but I'm getting ahead of myself. This place is really cute with super knowledgeable and attentive staff. We arrived an hour prior to the traffic coming to a peak, so we had her full attention. I know the place is family run, but I don't think that our server was "in the family". I was determined to get brisket as I haven't really found anything in PA to be what I call Black's or Salt Lick comparable on brisket. And....I still haven't found it. While the waitress insisted that if I tried the brisket, I would find it to be flavorful if not fatty, it was just too lean. The BBQ sauce was nice and not too sweet or spicy. But what *was* too sweet was the sweet tea. They advertised a strawberry tea and a regular tea. I ordered the regular and I think they must be cross contaminating it with the strawberry tea because it was too sweet. My friend who had been here before ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, with the intent of bringing half of it home for a future dinner. I should have followed his lead when he ordered. He let me try one of his ribs, and I will say that I will be coming back, but only for the ribs. As far as the sides go, nothing really stands out. Anyone know anyone in this part of PA which makes a nice batch of Charro beans? Dessert appeared to be homemade and it was nice and tasty and not overly sweet. As far as the restricted bar operation goes, let's just say that in this part of the country, it is difficult to get a full liquor license. We were limited to PA selections of only wine or beer. Puritans. SMH. Bottom line: stick to the baby back ribs.

We had the buffalo burger and ribs and chicken platter. Ribs and chicken were good but a little dry. The buffalo burger was smaller in diameter than a McDonalds hamburger. They should either make the burger bigger or the bun smaller. The menu says it will be cooked medium rare. Mine came out well done and of course dry because you can't do that to buffalo

Everything taste like it's been slow cooked for hours.

But for pork being a salty meat, we felt we needed more just to give it some flavor. Unfortunately, their salt packet container was filled exclusively with pepper (this is easily correctable and does not factor into our score). The brisket texture was OK and had a decent color and smoky flavor to it, though it may have been slightly overdone, as it was very dry. If I were to describe the flavor it would be Jack Link's Beef Jerky. The sauces were, to be blunt, not great. The mustard based sauce was pretty much just mustard. There was a ketchup based sauce that didn't offer much else. There were 2 other sauces, neither of which paired well with the 2 meats, and frankly I'm having a hard time even coming up with words to describe them. A way to improve would be a vinegar based sauce for the pulled pork (Carolina style), and offer up a reasonably spicy sauce. The biggest issue was we felt like we were chasing flavor and unable to find it, even mixing and matching sauces and meats. Prices were very reasonable for the quantities of food.

The service was spot on, the food was cooked perfectly, the burgers were very tasty, the criss-cut sweet potato fries with hot honey and vinegar salt were fantastic, and the shakes were delicious. That first visit was memorable enough that we were excited to come back. This time, we waited about 50 minutes at around 5:30PM on a Thursday before graduation weekend. Honestly, that part was understandable, and we were prepared for a wait. We had a nice booth for five and ordered table fries, a few shakes, and five burgers. The fries were still excellent, and the shakes were great. Unfortunately, the burgers and service did not live up to the previous visit. My burger tasted more like stewed meat than seared beef, almost as if it had been sitting for a while. It was overcooked and under-seasoned. Our server was pleasant enough, but several sides, condiments, and modifiers were forgotten. Waters were never refilled, the table was not cleared, and a salad that had been misordered was not removed from the bill. I understand it was a busy night, but at around $40 per person for food at a burger place, I expected more consistency. I'll give The Field another try the next time I'm in town because our first experience was so good, but this visit was a letdown.

There was only one person working the counter area and the ordering process was not well thought out. The restaurant is in the basement of the building, the seating area has no natural light and it's decor is dated/lacking. We ordered fried dumplings, boneless fried chicken, rice with sauce and a bulgogi bowl between two of us. The food came out fairly quick and was honestly delicious. The boneless chicken was premade but then reheated as is typical in most asian restaurants. You have to order sauce on the side, at an additional cost, and it was a fairly small serving. These dishes have some heat, which we enjoyed, but be careful. We really liked each dish and the portions were large. As other's noted, this place was expensive. Our bill was over $50 for two of us.
