    Sangria

We were staying on Sapphire Beach and decided to check out Red Hook for dinner and found Hook'd. Parking is free and very easy next door in the parking garage. We sat outside-unfortunately it was raining but I can see why people would come here on sunny days! Our dinner was good-I had fish tacos which were delicious and the fish pieces were very large. I subbed out fries for a salad-which was the largest side salad I have ever gotten in any restaurant! The highlight of the night was the Sangria-wow was that delicious! Our server was very friendly. One negative, our receipt had already included gratuity and when they handed me receipt, there was another blank line asking for gratuity (again!) and showing % options. This is very deceiving. Read carefully so you don't accidentally double tip! Oh, and there is an additional 3.5% non cash convenience fee. Thank you!

Somehow, I walked out of here spending 115. Not sure how that happened. Let me explain how I think it happened. We ordered a virgin piña colada, which cost $15. That feels excessive and should be cheaper if virgin. We also asked for the bush record cheesecake, which was really tasty and I loved it, but for some reason, they brought us two and we didn't ask for multiple. A $12 dessert then became $24. The crabcake entrée was my favorite thing for sure. The fries are fantastic. The crabcake is very fun to try. No complaints. That plate was a 5. The tuna pasta was interesting to try. Felt like an Asian fusion dish. I'd complain that there weren't enough noodles, and the yellowtail tuna wasn't that flavorful and very forgettable. Hard to flag down servers and get the check or order in the next thing. We sat at a high raised table by the fence and acute Kat came up to us. See the boat in the harbor. That was fun. Good ambience. Good music playing of reggae versions of popular pop music.

We were just walking by and wanted to check this place out. So vibrant, go to meet the owner and the drinks were delish. Great view and just nice to sit outside, watch the boats and have a drink.

This place was so good and had a beautiful outdoor seating area where we enjoyed our meal. We started with the popcorn shrimp, which was a great appetizer. For my main dish, I ordered the fish tacos, and they were some of the best I've ever had. The person I was with got the crab cake and said it was really tasty as well. Our server was very nice and efficient throughout the meal. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent food and atmosphere.

Situated down stairs along the Harbor you'll find an open air, divey restaurant and bar. We had a few cocktails and enjoyed peeling the 1lb warm shrimp. The highlight, in my opinion was the Crispy Pork Belly appetizer. Delicious! It comes with honey, green scallions, plantains and a red sauce. I wanted to continue my fish binge, but this appetizer just couldn't be overlooked.

Wonderful breakfast spot with a beautiful waterfront view. Our waiter was super friendly and brought over waters immediately, took and delivered our orders promptly. I had the pork belly Benedict and my husband had the pork belly biscuits and gravy. Both were really good. His gray came with actual shredded pork which was a nice surprise. My pork belly were perfect. I ended up eating it all and leaving parts of uneaten eggs alone because I was getting full but didn't want to waste a perfectly made pork belly. I will forever dream of the breakfast I had here. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and excellent food. Until next time!

    Onion Rings side - delicious!

We enjoyed the Daily Catch Fish dinner here and their really great strawberry margaritas. It was a super relaxed vibe and our server, Dougie Fresh, was very attentive and super personable. The wahoo and red snapper fish dinners were cooked perfectly with light blackened seasoning and our choice of topping and sides. The onion rings were totally amazing as were the mashed potatoes and side salad. We started with the shrimp cocktail that was a little waterlogged to be honest but tasted okay. There are lots of chickens running around too which was fun. We loved our meals and the service.

I was hooked at Hook'd. I traveled to Red Hook while on vacation to find a good food option. We walked around checking out menus. The went to Hook'd thought it decent and began to walk away to check other menus. However we all decided to stay since D and the waiter had good vibes and were welcoming and friendly. That was the beginning of a great experience. We sat out by the water and were waited on immediately. D had such a wealth of knowledge of the menu and recommended everything. At first I thought she was just trying to sell me on everything and upcharging but I later see why she recommended everything. Everything we ordered was indeed amazing. We started with the Mahi Mahi bites and mussels for appetizers and they were super tasty, seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered the crab cake entree and the pork belly tacos also ended up at the table. We had so many great options to choose from between all the appetizers and entrees. Delicious doesn't describe every morsel of food that came to the table. At the end I asked to speak to the manager and George the owner came to the table. I told him his staff was wonderful and they were the very reason we decided to try out the restaurant. That was the best choice because the food was decadent. Even the coleslaw, the garlic mashed potatoes, the avocado sauces and aioli's, the breads, the cream sauce with the mussels, the Malbec wine I drank, everything was top tier and was my best food experience in the island. George was overjoyed and called virtually all the staff over to the table so they could hear how amazed and impressed we were with everything especially them. George and team sat with us for like 40 minutes talking sharing in birthday shots and desserts and I couldn't ask for a better birthday celebratory meal and experience. If you're ever in St Thomas do yourself a favor and visit this scratch farm to table restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed. I enjoyed so much I didn't take any pics but trust me this place is worth it 100%

My wife had the red snapper fish of the day, grilled with butter, plantains, and rice. She enjoyed it very much. I had the pork belly tacos, with french fries, and it was filling tasty and I enjoyed it very much. The margarita was made well.

My favorite breakfast in St Thomas! My only regret is I only went once! I would highly recommend this spot as a breakfast spot before a day on the ferry to St John. It is conveniently located next to the ferry port and you can easily walk over to catch the boat. They are open for lunch and dinner as well and im sure that food is equally fantastic as breakfast. The portions are large, so if you're not super hungry I recommend sharing. I got the breakfast sandwich special that was a grilled cheese with breakfast meats and eggs. Legit phenomenal. The breakfast potatoes are also off the charts. Seriously come hungry. No one in my group was disappointed with their meals and we cleaned the plates! Don't be alarmed by the occasional chicken pecking around, they are harmless. The staff is also fantastic, friendly and down to earth. Can't wait to come back!

Tim and team were amazing servers. Lots of friendly laughs. Mussels with extra bread $6. worth it if your a dipper. Fish tacos Mahi Mahi. Fantastic local flavor. A must stop waiting for your Ferry or in the area

This trip…read moretook me to St. Thomas, and being an island community, it also meant seafood, which I love and is hard to come by in Phoenix, AZ. The Fish Market sits on the beach at the bottom of the Elysian Hotel. While you can walk there, it's a long, winding road through the hotel grounds. While I want to say we were met with a warm island welcome, instead, we were met by a grouchy young lady who seemed less than happy to be working or enjoying her day. On a positive note, our waitress, Kieke, was delightful and sweet and a complete opposite from the hostess. As for the food, let me be honest when I say it was one of the top two seafood meals I've had in my life. I got the crab-stuffed grouper with broccolini and couscous. It was cooked perfectly and had a sauce that was delicious! At the end of the day, this was a great experience, and if you can get down to the restaurant (which is a hike), you will absolutely enjoy the meal and ask for Kieke and ignore the rude hostess.

Both were really good; the nachos were super fresh and flavorful with a nice mix of textures, and the scramble was light but still filling with plenty of veggies. Definitely felt like a good, balanced brunch option. The service was great, friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the Bloody Mary. It had a pretty strong horseradish kick, which just isn't my thing, but if you like that extra spice you'd probably enjoy it. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and a solid brunch spot. I'd absolutely come back (and probably stick to mimosas next time!).

For entrees, the wife and I each had fish tacos: mine, blackened; hers, grilled, Mine were much better. Both were tasty and hit the spot. For $19, it was reasonable. I would order them again.
