Excellent service, excellent food, great experience. Our server was sweet, prompt and set us up for a great meal.

We've dined here several times since it opened in April 2026. The clam chowder is so tasty and full of goodness. We usually split the seafood tower for 2 (oysters, shrimp, crab legs, etc.). It's a little messy to eat but it's so fresh. The staff is always friendly, we've been served by Veronica and Reagan and both know the menus and make great recommendations. The atmosphere is light and not too loud where you can enjoy a nice conversation. We never feel rushed to empty a table. read more

So.... There is a steady flow of customers into the restaurant which is great. The location is unfortunate because the mall is essentially closed, so you have to make it a point to come here. The restaurant has recently been renovated. It used to be a Hooters. A very nice job with the renovation, as the restaurant looks very nice! Our order included the Fried Grouper, Blackened Salmon and the Sweet Heat Florida Shrimp. The Sweet Heat Shrimp platter was good. Nit was well cooked and had a a nice flavor. It's there version of Bang Bang Shrimp. The Fried Flounder was well cooked. It didn't have much flavor (IMHO) but there were great sauces to dip the fish in. The Salmon was the star of our meal. Unfortunately, the Broccoli that was supposed to be well cooked was raw. We flagged the manager down and he got us a fresh set. Although the new broccoli was very well steamed, there was zero seasoning added. The restaurant has a lot of potential. The gentleman that I assume is the GM was very attentive and took action quickly. The employees didn't share their names, but these are little things they can work on. My fresh raw gulf oysters on the half shell were amazing. The side salad was just ok. Nice crispy iceberg lettuce. But the blue cheese dressing was watery. My husband loved his shrimp platter. Large, delicious shrimp,nice crispy fries, good hushpuppies and yummy slaw. We will go back soon! read more

Really nice decor. Not a fish camp. ;) Menu had good choices, the hostess was super friendly as was our server, Lexi. Lexi earned them the third star. Confusion (entrees came out, no starters...) and a mixup with entrees...COULD be because they're "new" but train your people and practice before opening? You don't charge less to use us as training dummies. I'm struggling to see myself going here too many times but will try them again in a few weeks. We have a TRUE fish camp we love and go to that blows this away, and a fish restaurant that won the Sentinel's "best fish" slot nearby too. Glad they're here, wish them well, thanks LEXI for being so sweet...and let's see what happens as they are open a while. read more

My family and I came in for dinner and the seafood surprised us in a very good way. We ordered fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, lobster rolls, and salmon. Everyone loved their meals! Ambiance and service were wonderful. Very friendly and caring staff on every level. We had the fish dip which was ok but have had better elsewhere. Had the hot honey Brussels sprouts which I enjoyed. My friend did not. We both had the blackened grouper and shrimp. Grouper was good, shrimp very spicey. They offered to get new grilled shrimp but I declined. The atmosphere was the music was pleasant great for the atmosphere. There were some questionable patrons. The food arrived hot and seemingly fresh. Server was polite and friendly. But the food left me going ok without making me go oh we have to come back here. That being everything this was fresh but not exciting. The management was like okay I would say go try it and make your own decision. When I go to New Smyrna and eat at Bostons Fish House I walk away smiling and always say can wait to go back. That being said the one thing there I miss is hush puppies and the one thing my wife loved was the hush puppies@ hooked fish camp. Again they just opened so maybe I'm being hard on them. read more

We went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with both the quality of food and service. They have plenty of options. I had the shrimp platter. It was lightly breaded perfectly. Very happy that we have another option for seafood in Lake Mary. They do have other options besides seafood. read more

Food on my plate was 3 different temperatures. Blackened grouper was bland. Shrimp tasted good, but was not hot. Worst steamed broccoli I've had. My wife's fried seafood was good and hot so if you like fried, you are in luck. Try to get a greeting or goodbye from staff is a challenge. Stopped in on a Monday night. They've recently opened and are still working things out but it was a good experience overall. Highlights of the meal were the mussels, oyster duo, and the orange crunch cake! Our server and manager were both helpful, checking in multiple times throughout the course of the meal. The clam strips were tough and chewy. Very disappointing for $20. The service was ok, but they asked if we needed anything. Never asked how the food was. However the calabash shrimp was very tasty. Not sure if we'll go back. read more

I would wait until they work out the kinks. We ordered calamari, wine, and a house gin and tonic $8.50 when we sat down. They had no good gin. I ordered the only Chardonnay they had which was $11 (at 4:30, no happy hour) and they gave me at best 3 ounces. I watched the server talk to five people trying to make it right. Finally got a little more wine. Never received the calamari. Server said she didn't hear that request. Ordered flounder platter and it was the smallest two pieces of fish I've ever seen. The fries were cooked at too of a low temp so they were greasy and mushy. Mac and cheese was hot, but not very cheesy. Cole slaw was very good. Finally got the calamari which included a surprise piece of shrimp and two tiny pieces of clams in the mix. In fairness, server asked if we had any allergies. I can only assume they have separate fryers in the back. As we left the server ran outside with our credit card that she forgot to give me back. We will go back, but not for a while. My shrimp Scampi was amazing and the service was top Notch! I couldn't believe how huge and delicious the desserts were!

We had a great time at the bar. The oyster shooter was so good, a fresh oyster served with a Tabasco vodka shot. Also sampled the pina colada. It was creamy and cold! I tried the ouster duo and they were both quite good. The lemon cloud pie was enough to share and tasty. read more

A new place in town at the old Hooters location near Sanford mall. I was invited to give it a try with family. The place was busy on a Saturday afternoon with plenty of staff and great service as it has only been opened a few weeks now. The atmosphere is camp style and roomy with comfortable booths. I can't speak for the tables but the chairs are hard bottoms. Oh, what about the food? Well, in a nutshell, we were disappointed with the portions and taste. Prices were expected for this economy, but not over the top. What gets me is how restaurants including this one cut corners on the food and charge you 2 arms and two legs. For example, the appetizers such as the shrimp corn fritters had maybe a dice of shrimp, no corn, but cornmeal and lacked an appealing appearance, burnt looking fried balls, and they were tasteless for about 13$. The onion rings great flavor and fried well but had only one thin sliver of onion. Needless to say, paid about $9 for fried bread rings. The French fries included with the meal are not good either, cheap taste, not sure it's potatoes or something else. I tried the tackle box meal which came with fried little popcorn shrimp, tasty but don't believe menu mentioned they would be baby shrimp, the clams were tough and chewy and fries for $20. The grouper meal was blackened (seasoning over powered the fish but tasty) and came with 4 large blackened shrimp and two sides; had red beans and rice (no juicy bean sauce) was okay and a side of okra (maybe 10, nothing special about taste, fried we'll). Two kid meals popcorn shrimp and another meal with fish bites fried. The kids enjoyed their meals probably the best deal with a drink for $8.95. The grouper meal and tackle box meal pictures below. Very expensive, very noisy inside hard to have a conversation, I got the tile fish. It was very small. They served it with the bloodline it tasted fishy and not fresh. There were five of us and two of the plates were the wrong order. I won't be going back to this place. read more

We were so excited for this place to open and it did not disappoint! We went family of 4 for dinner on Sunday. Wait time was very reasonable (~15 minutes). The restaurant has a very coastal vibe and was not overly loud. Our server Emily was super attentive and friendly with great recommendations. We started with deviled eggs which were delicious. The kids meals were great portions on super cute fish plates. Both kids enjoyed their meals (fish bites and popcorn shrimp). For entrees we got the blackened salmon and sweet heat shrimp basket. Both were great portions and everything tasted delicious. Would love some extra seasoning on the potatoes and fries though to put them over the top. We splurged on dessert and the brownie which came with ice cream, and it was super tasty and plenty for 4 to share to end the meal. In total our bill came out to $91, and we found it to be a really good value for a special occasion or date night. There are several other things on the menu that sound tasty, so we'll definitely be back. read more

Was spicy, service was good, nice. Price literally hight. Good for friends gathering.

First time we frequented was on Mother's Day. I tried to do call ahead but was Told they didn't do it for 2 but the wait was short. When arrived we were told 10 minutes. After 35, we started asking to make sure we weren't skipped. Another few minutes went by and we were told the kitchen was behind and they weren't seating. After my husband asked what the problem was in at east being seated, they took us to a table. The menu was a BIG disappointment. Not a lot of selections for a fish restaurant and you have to ask for items not included on the menu. How are you to know??? Nothing was referenced about "ask for fish of the day" selections. Bottom line, we found it pricey for what it was. Service was ok. Food was just ok but nothing special. French fries should not be an automatic add to your meal. Boring. We will just drive into Daytona next time. Worth it to travel so you don't have to settle. read more
