I'm the experience, wasn't that great the weight was extremely long. It's a nice restaurant with a cool layout. We had several different dishes. Portion sizes were different. Each time we went service was hitting Mrs well.

Food was ok... Flounder 6/10...Deviled Eggs 2/10... Over priced for me and I usually never complain about prices but was over priced for the food not to be that good. Bartender was very help with questions we had about the menu.

Remembered this place just opened so thought we would give them a try. Sunday afternoon. Almost empty around 1 pm. Clean, cute decor. Greeted pretty quickly by the hostess and seated just as quickly. I ordered their regular margarita and we got the 1/2 cold peel and eat shrimp with Old Bay as an appetizer. These were delicious. Would absolutely get these again. For lunch I ordered their shrimp Louis salad and my husband got their fried shrimp with onion rings platter. Good quality all around. The fry was greasy and left the shrimp in a puddle on the plate. They need to work out some frying kinks for sure. Great server, Veronica and good quality food will have us give them another try in the near future. If you're in the area, check them out!

Heyyyyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyyyyyys! Was stoked to go here and finally made it! Opted to go for lunch they have a pretty decent selection on their lunch menu-price ranges about under $15. Regular menu prices vary and LOTS of options. Decor is well done, hostess was so nice as was our server. We opted for the calabrasa shrimp which came with delicious hush puppies, fries that were meh for me, coleslaw was YUM and the shrimp was really good! Served with tarter and cocktail sauce. Huge portion and very shareable in my opinion. We also had clam chowder which was not skimping on the clams at all! Last we chose oysters raw-east coast they gave 3 options. Served with horseradish, red pickled onion vinegar and cocktail sauce. Overall great experience, would love to go back and try some additional dishes. Let's eat!

The food is really good ! I Enjoy the oysters on the half Shell . They have them on the happy hour menu with many other great things to choose from. I love the oyster shooter. A must try. Very good service they aim to please if something isn't right they're happy to make it right.

This was such a fun new restaurant! I thought it would be a fish version of hooters but no. The place is a whole vibe and has great food and beverage selections. We went with our family and it was great for kids. The service was attentive and not overbearing. Our food was hot, fresh and abundant!

Went here because I heard a lot about how they're getting good and bad reviews. We decided to sit at the bar. It was happy hour. We did get a lot on happy hour and had all intentions to get a meal too started with Margarita, shrimp crab and spinach dip. We also got the shrimp lettuce wraps that were absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend lettuce wraps with their clam chowder. I had a cup of that and that was just amazing last, but not least we got a dozen of oysters, raw cold and they were out of this world. We enjoyed sitting at the bar, speaking with the bartenders and the manager also came over. Introduced himself (think Troy sorry). Made sure everything was good and we even joked to him about his decor on the walls we liked. I was surprised it was a little bit quiet, but there was plenty of tables that were chatting away, enjoying their meals and I thought the ambience was wonderful. Also had a couple drinks that were great. I give them a double thumbs up price worth every penny and would highly recommend them can't wait to go back.

My fresh raw gulf oysters on the half shell were amazing. The side salad was just ok. Nice crispy iceberg lettuce. But the blue cheese dressing was watery. My husband loved his shrimp platter. Large, delicious shrimp, nice crispy fries, good hushpuppies and yummy slaw. We will go back soon!

Recently I had dinner at Lighthouse Seafood Market & Cafe and it was my first time there, but…read moredefinitely not my last. Lighthouse is both a full seafood market and restaurant, giving you that fresh off the boat quality seafood cooked exactly how you like and served right to your table. I had the Blackened Grouper with broccoli and parsley red potatoes. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, super juicy and incredibly fresh. The sides were just as good paired with the fish perfectly. I also had a tasty little side Caesar salad. The house Caesar dressing was great, lightly dressed so it didn't drown the romaine like some places do, and finished with grated parmesan and crunchy croutons. Overall, this was a great meal. The service was great, the food was excellent, and I would highly recommend checking them out.

My sister started with the clam chowder, which she thought was a little spicy but good. I had a small Caesars salad. For the entree my sister ordered one snow crab cluster which I know for a fact their market price was high, also they don't offer them in any kind of seasoning. Putting Old Bay on them just makes the shell spicy. I ordered the 15 reds, which are peel and eat shrimp. They were great, cooked perfectly. We ordered the hush puppies 3 count, now this was a problem because first they should never be that big and on the oily side to me. Problems I noticed, some of the wait staff is not that friendly also most of the staff serving food without gloves. A young man brought a bowl of food to a customer with his thumb on the rim, gross. This is my major complaint and take away that confirms I won't be back. There are two prices listed on the menu, one if you pay in cash and a higher price if you use a card. That is unacceptable, because some places will state that there will be a percentage up charge , not for every item. The place was somewhat busy when we arrived, but it was a constant flow of traffic, because they also have a seafood market inside to buy your own. I wasn't noisy at all when we went, not sure what it's like later in the evening. My personal takeaway is it's a nice enjoyable place for the locals, but if you're looking flavorful seafood, look further.

I had The Current bookmarked in Sanford and with it being only fifteen minutes away it was easy to get there. As I approached, I thought, "That's where it is?" I have passed the place many times but never knew it was there! It is a couter service place. Which mostly means a quick in and out. Plenty of seating inside and even some outside. I ordered my Blacken mahi sandwich with Old Bay fries and waited at a table for it to arrive. When it did, all I can say is, wow! Might of been the best blackened fish sandwich I have ever had, wow! The fries could have had a little more seaoning on them, but I was here for the fish and it ruled. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. It felt like others were also coming in for one last visit, which added a bittersweet feeling to the evening. I ordered a pina colada and a pineapple coconut martini. The drinks were perfect. Cold, smooth, and exactly what I remember. I will truly miss the drinks here. They have always been one of the highlights. For food, we ordered beef empanadas, coconut shrimp, and the honey butter crispy chicken sandwich. The empanadas were not quite as good as I remembered. The filling was more soupy than before and did not have the same bold flavor I used to enjoy. The coconut shrimp was solid and consistent. The chicken sandwich tasted like it may have been cooked slightly too long, making it a bit drier than expected. Service was great, especially considering how busy they were. The staff handled the crowd well and remained friendly and attentive throughout the night.
