DH and I decided to stop by on Sunday at 11am. We were seated right away and Lexi was our server. She was really friendly and we were happy she was available. She took our drink and appetizer order (empanadas) and came back afterwards for our entrees. She was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal and we never needed anything. She was aware of the levels of our drinks , etc. We ordered churrasco with tostones and rice and beans. I ordered white rice while DH opted for yellow rice. I also added sautéed shrimp with garlic because I like to put it on top of my tostones. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves! I really like this particular Bahama Breeze restaurant because of their atmosphere and energy of the servers!! You can eat outside or inside and the decorations are very festive. The music they play adds to the ambience of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back and recommend this restaurant! Come by on Fridays and Saturdays when they dress up and there is live music on Saturdays! Look at their website for up and coming events!

I came here after work one day for a work function. It was a nice, quiet Tuesday night. Their dining room are always so large and grandiose, and you feel like in some sort of Caribbean hut with the giant, slow fans. I like this. Service was good, too. Nice fellas. I was trying to be good, calorie-wise, so I skipped the apps that my co-workers ordered, but they looked good. They seemed to enjoy them. So for my meal, I got something that I can't find on the online menu anymore. It was a spicy pineapple shrimp dish, though. And it was delicious! Way too much shrimp, large chunks of pineapple, some diced veggies, served on some white rice and stuffed into a half of a hollowed-out pineapple. What more can you ask for? Overall, this place was solid. Not necessarily on par with the five star best-of-the-best that Orlando has to offer. But it was five stars in terms of it gave me exactly what I was looking for, and it did it well.

Cheerfully greeted at the door and seated quickly even though they were packed with an event. Abigail, our server was prompt and helpful. She suggested the Bahama-rita, so I'm giving it a shot! Oh yes.. daddy's happy! The honey butter crispy chicken sandwich with fries hit the spot. Great atmosphere with the decor and music... felt like I was on vacation... well, just for a little bit

Charis was our server and she was phenomenal. Flavorful food, excellent drinks, relaxing ambience and a wonderful dining experience overall. Lots of seating so we had no wait on a Saturday evening. Private parking lot with plenty of parking. GPS takes you right there without confusion.

I have been to this location a couple of times and service is hit and miss. It is one of the newest around the area, but the service is slow and the servers do not check up on you often. We saw our server maybe 3 times during our meal. The hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Food was good. We ordered the salmon tostada salad and the churrasco. Even though it took a while to get our food, it was fresh and well cooked. As for drinks these were not very good. We had a skinny margarita (not made the way it is supposed to) and the ultimate margarita which was okay. Not a bad spot around the area but be prepared to wait.

Great first visit to this BB location in Sanford, FL. I knew I was having the salmon tostada salad, which did NOT disappoint. This open and airy location, with indoor and outdoor seating, was very clean and I was quickly seated upon arrival today for lunch. I love the sweet tea here, but next time I think I'll try one of their non-alcoholic beverages. My salad was perfect! My server was very polite and you are able to pay your check at the tabletop kiosk. This is a great place to enjoy lunch with friends and family or Happy Hour after a long week. BB is one of my favorite chain restaurants and I'm glad this one is so close by. Would definitely return...

This was my first visit to this particular spot in the Bahama Breeze chain. We were celebrating a 93rd birthday and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. Our server put the cupcakes we brought into the cooler until we were ready then politely brought out plates and extra napkins when we were ready to celebrate. Of course we all had lunch first (delicious). Several of us ordered the special frozen margaritas to get started with. Yummy but Brain Freeze!!!! Be careful how fast or hard you sip on those drinks! We had a fabulous time and look forward to visiting this location again in the future.

Nice selection of chicken, shrimp, and beef with pasta, rice, or vegetables. Jerk flavorings, fresh pineapples, and more. Drinks are right-sized and visually appealing on top of great tasting. Margarita and mixed drink flights are available to sample the flavors.

My best friend and I celebrated my belated birthday here after driving all through Sanford and not really finding a good spot to stop at. BB was packed, but we got a good seat at the bar where they had two sports things happening, so it was okay seeing all the buff athletes were doing their thing. Started off with a strawberry margarita ($12), which was tasty and a good way to begin the weekend. Looked through the menu, which had some good pickings, but I went with the seafood paella ($24) as my dinner, which had shrimp, scallops, and mussels in a seasoned rice. It was tasty and filling, but I did avoid the green peppers, which were mixed in because they were a bit limp beyond how I like them. The bar was crazy busy, so when we were ready to order, it took a small moment to catch the attention, but our drinks and food came out very quickly. The bar staff were effectively handling the work. The place was loud but not in a way that bothered or drowned out conversations when you spoke.

I've lived in Sanford for 17 years, and while I've only made a handful of trips to Rockin'…read moreRhonda's, each visit has left a lasting impression. Most of my time here has been spent meeting up with riding buddies heading to or from a charity motorcycle run, or supporting local bands. Our most recent visit was this past Saturday to catch our friends' band, Night Wind, play. Unfortunately, the turnout was smaller than expected, likely due to the 11th Annual Mardi Gras celebration happening downtown. We started at the festival, then made our way to Rhonda's to enjoy the band before heading back downtown to wrap up the night. Rockin' Rhonda's is a classic dive bar and a popular pit stop for bikers--this might deter some newcomers, but if you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink and a bite. The drink prices are some of the best in town. Well drinks are only $4, and if you order two of the same drink, it's just $6. You really can't beat that price, especially downtown. I usually ask for a double in a 16oz glass, so I don't have to juggle drinks all night. They also offer $12 domestic beer buckets, which are a great deal, and on Saturdays, they discount top-shelf liquors by $2 when you order a double. Food-wise, they have a decent selection of bar-food and it's affordable. A cheese pizza is $10, and only $2 more for a pepperoni version. If you're in the mood for something different, you can grab two corndogs for $6, mozzarella sticks for $5, a cheeseburger or hot dog for $4, or even taquitos for $4. For a casual bite, it's a great deal. If you plan to hang out for a while, there are several high-top tables available for dining. The staff here are friendly, and the place is generally clean and well-kept--inside and outside. If you're looking for something to do, there's no shortage of entertainment. They have several arcade games, two pool tables, multiple dartboards, and JENGA to keep you busy. If you're a bit tight on cash, there's an ATM right inside the main gaming area. When you step outside from the back of the bar, you'll find a cozy seating area next to a clean pond and fountain. Beyond that, there's a large, covered outdoor bar/patio area with more high-top tables facing the stage where our friends played. There's even another outdoor bar and service area to the left of the stage. The outdoor space can accommodate over 60 people (mostly standing) if the crowd is right, making it a great place to hang out on a busy night. We had a fantastic time at Rhonda's, and I'm grateful they provided the space for our friends to perform. The drinks were fantastic, and I appreciate that they pour the old-school way (free-pour), which is a nice touch. Three things to keep in mind: (1) Smoking is allowed inside, so if you're planning to dine-in, you may want to enjoy your meal outside under the covered patio; (2) the parking area and the space between the patio and stage are mostly dirt and sand, so it could be dusty/slippery/or muddy depending on the weather during your visit; and (3) The venue does not providing in-house lighting and sound for the stage, so if your planning on landing a gig here you will need to bring all of this equipment and manage your sound/lighting needs during the show. Overall, Rockin' Rhonda's is a laid-back, local gem that's definitely worth checking out if you're in the Sanford area.
