This place is my favorite cafe and boba tea stop in Whittier! It's a fantastic place to study or simply hangout at. They have a wide range of drinks ranging from coffees and traditional and fruit teas to things like Skyfall butterfly tea and yuzu lemonade. I make it a goal to try all of their drinks. They also sell baked goods, toasts, ice cream macarons, cheesecakes, and croissants. The owner and staff are all so nice and helpful. The atmosphere of this cafe is very classy yet relaxing. Cute little boba shop (in a kinda weird location though). The inside is clean and there are tables if you want to stay a while. Got a lemonade and two slushies with boba. The lemonade was really nice - very refreshing and not overly sweet. I could have drank more. The slushies were given to this kids, so unfortunately I can't comment on the slushy or the texture of the boba, but they drank every last drop, so I'm assuming it was good! A week ago I was restless at home and wanted to find a place to work on a project when I stumbled across this place. Wasn't expecting anything great because it looked empty but was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, cute establishment. The lady working there was extremely nice and gave great recommendations and didn't give me any hassle for using the huge community table as my workspace. I just needed a location to work on my project and I ended finding a really great boba place! I had a potted milk tea and it was really good! Came back tonight and ordered a skyfall milk tea. The blueness kinda scared me but it tastes as good as it is pretty! I was actually really let down. I got the potted black milk tea without boba and it tasted like dirty water with watered down tea. No sweetness to it so it was just not good. My fiance on the other hand got a coffee which had coffee ice cubes so that was pretty awesome. The flavor of his was nice too. I cant see anything going wrong with any of the ice coffee selection. As for the milk tea that I received.. maybe I should have opted for boba to change the flavor. I'm not sure. It's unfortunate that the good reviews were deleted right before the grand opening. Don't let that one bad review generalize your idea on the place. Look at the comments in the pictures for now and decide for yourself if you want to try this location. This place is pretty good. Not the best boba place I've ever been to, but I continue to be pretty intrigued by their drinks to want to come back in the future. Here are some main pros and cons that I personally have: Pros: -I had the taro milk tea and it was surprisingly less chalky and more milky compared to other places I've tried. I really don't like when taro milk tea has a gritty texture... -Staff was friendly and helpful -Pretty drinks if your into that whole instagrammable kinda thing.. I haven't tried the colorful teas yet, but the staff person I spoke to did a good job with describing what you can expect from the taste from each drink. I plan to try one next time. -Place is clean and modern. Cons: -Location is on a very busy street (Whittier Blvd) which may be tricky to enter and exit the plaza (for an anxious driver like me... that is a problem:/ ) -A tad on the pricier side for a boba drink. Solid place for boba drinks and coffee. I've had the taro milk tea, the matcha green tea latte and the cold brew. I added boba to my milk tea drinks and it was nice and soft. They have a stamp card for drinks so make sure to ask for one. We also purchased a stainless steel straw set which includes a straight straw, a bent neck straw and a boba straw with pouch for $7.50. Not a bad deal to do your part for the environment and reduce your plastic straw use. read more

I personally gave this place 3/5 instead of a 4/5 just because of the inconvenient location and it's definitely not a place that stands out but it's not the worst coffee place I've tried. This place is by far the best tea/milk tea drink spot in the area. The first time I went I was blown away by how good it was that my husband and I easily go 3-4 times a week now. My favorite drink is the strawberry kiss half sweet, and also the passion paradise. I'm working my way through trying everything. My husband's favorite drink is the iced latte because they use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes, so your drink never tastes diluted! They also make really yummy peanut butter cookies. The customer service is great as well, we felt so special when Alyssa (I think that's how she spells it) started remembering what we order! I do think that they need to work on their customer service and make sure that they have a welcoming environment for their customers. This place lacks a warm customer service environment and that's why I am not giving them a five star review. However I recommend the drinks they are pretty good! Cute decorations, would enjoy hanging out here with friends. Corner Place is a cross between an American coffee shop and an Asian tea lounge, it even offers shaved snow. We were intrigued by the tea infusions, and selected the Passion Paradise (mango, peach, passionfruit) with green tea, less sweetness, and less ice. We were told that the flavor comes from a fruit puree with no added sugar, but there were no visible fruit pieces inside the drink, so likely a syrup. It was hard to distinguish any individual flavor, it came across as a general fruit sweetness. We asked for less sweetness, tried the initial taste, and they offered to dilute it down to a point that we found enjoyable. The green tea was good quality, but slightly over brewed (slightly bitter, but still able to enjoy it). On a hot day it was refreshing, and although I usually like less ice, the amount in there today kept the tea cold for over 20 minutes, refreshing on every sip. read more

As a family of 5, we frequent this place for boba, coffee, etc. during this COVID season we have gone every weekend to support this local business and have bought so many bobas and acai bowls. Today there were two employees we have never seen before working and by accidentally forgetting to ask for boba in one of drinks, we kindly asked if they could add boba. We were willing to pay for it however, it was a $1 minimum for card and the boba was only 50 cents. My dad explained we have been there every weekend especially during COVID. Instead of providing good customer service to maintain our loyalty, and the Hispanic manager said "sorry, tough times" sarcastically. I'm disappointed that my favorite boba place could say such things after we were so supportive. Mind you, we have 5-6 filled stamp cards which we have not taken to redeem due to these tough times for businesses. read more
