The food at Hooked us always amazing. Especially the Grouper. I had the Grouper sandwich and it was incredible. Crispy and succulent. One person in our party had the grouper nuggets - which is something I will try during our next visit. We like the ambiance of Hooked and the quality of the food. The prices are highly competitive as well. I was hoping the other side of the dining room would be opened but found out that is only for private parties. Perhaps that should be open when it is not in use to add additional dining spots. Overall I great place to go in the Summit - it makes you feel like you are dining in the FL pan handle! read more

We got the sushi tower and the edamame from here. The edamame had a great flavor a nice straw to it with an interesting spice that I really liked. I eat it again and again then we caught the sushi tower that was very light. The shrimp on there was very juicy on top and the rice at the bottom also had to look good amount of flavor. I definitely come here again. The only issue that I had was that it's a bit pricey it is about $30-$26 or a sushi tower which is quite pricey so he definitely wanted to come here with other people on special occasions but overall, I thought it was very good. This is my favorite hometown, local restaurant. They have the freshest seafood. I have many favorites and the very talented owner keeps creating new ones each time I visit. Very fun, relaxed, Key West vibe. Their crab cakes, ceviche, and salmon are among my favorites. I am never disappointed. The portions are plentiful. You will not walk away hungry. Hooked is a nice BYOB restaurant with some really good food. We started we the ceviche which was filled with seafood and delicious. My seared tuna taco entreé was huge and filling. The menu and atmosphere has a whole Cali vibe. There is outdoor seating which is probably nice in the spring and there is a bar to sit at and eat as well. The open hours are limited with a small window, but it's worth it to get there. read more

I hate boring food I wanted to try something new and our server lady recommended the sushi tower, so I went with that. And it was a sophisticated feast of my taste buds. I was traveling in the area and found this unique spot! On a cold night I walked in to a warm vibe, great music and very vibrant artwork throughout! Started with the lobster. Crab and corn shower was amazing lots of large fresh pieces of meat and a light creamy texture. Next was the Crab Cake BLT (I opted for no bun) the Crab Cake was filled with meat and very light on the fillers (yay!) it had a fresh taste and I believe a hint of mustard and was served with fresh lettuce and tomato. I am not a french fry person normally but these were tossed in an amazing seasoning! I asked what it was and was told the chef made it himself, it had a bit of old bay taste to it but so much better! This place must be well known by locals because as I sat there many people came in for take out and the staff seemed to know them by name. Also in the short time I was there 4 people came in just to purchase a frozen quart of the lobster, crab and corn chowder for the cold weather forecasted the next day! Two people one of them being me, the other my coworker got food poisoning here, "owner" got accusatory and nasty as soon as we called to let them know, wasn't looking for a refund or anything just to let them know so they could address the issue before other people got sick. Went to try them out again and they were extremely nasty, saying we "accused" them of making us sick and they wouldn't make our order.. we both had the food and we both got sick from it, others who had other food were fine so seems pretty obvious to me that it was the food. 10/10 will no longer recommend them to friends or clients of our business anymore. read more

We found this place online. We had to travel 45 minutes but so worth it! Amazing amazing food! Huge portions of fresh deliciousness! The soup is soooo good! And the shrimp! Oh those crab cakes! I can go on and on! The decor is inviting and comfortable and waitresses sweet and attentive! They also have food to go in a freezer section if you want to take some home. Before heading back to Jersey I wanted to give this spot a try. I called in my order of the grouper tacos and keylime pie for dessert. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food wasn't quite ready so I paid and waited. When it came out I grabbed the food and left. I ate when I got in and the tacos were huge and very good. The keylime pie was just ok though. It didn't taste too much like keylime pie to me. All in all I had a pretty decent experience. read more

Food is absolutely amazing. Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Good service. Outstanding food- cooked perfectly, presented beautifully.

I've always wanted to come here but due to the pandemic, they were not open and only doing take out. So decided to wait it out until they finally open there doors to the public again. The restaurant itself is small, they have a few tables and an area with high chairs like a bar setting, so make sure to make a reservations because when we were there, they were packed, both the dining tables and the bar. They did have an area for outside seating but when we went it was raining and cold, so it was not open. We sample an item in each category and the paella was delicious, packed with all kinds of seafood. The sushi tower was packed with flavors as well and is also a big serving. The chowder, although not pictured very well was also delicious. I would definitely like to come back here and try other items on their menu, plus they always have weekly specials. Primarily giving this place a one star because of ambiance and atmosphere. If you are a working professional, forget this place! They have No WiFi (McDonalds offers free WiFi) and the music was so loud that I had to raise my voice so the server could hear me! The server was mildly polite and attentive, the background was a nice beach vibe and the Grouper tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Definitely a weekend place. Will most likely never go back M-F. read more

The food was tasty and the portions were huge. I like seafood that is cooked with less sauce because it covers up the delicate flavors, and both my daughter and I had dishes with lots of sauce. The wait staff were doing their best and were clearly understaffed (Covid?) but it took us 45 minutes to get our food on a Wednesday night. I did not appreciate seeing the tv with Fox News on. Hugely disappointing experience. I ordered the lobster truffle mac and cheese. I could not find one piece of lobster in my whole dish. There were a few shreds of what appeared to be maybe lobster, maybe imitation lobster (seemed like imitation). There was no taste of lobster or truffle, really not much flavor at all. It was basically a plate of rigatoni with sauce from a jar for 30 bucks. I let the server know I found no lobster, and she proceeded to point at my plate to claim the few red slivers were the lobster. One red sliver was a drop of "crab" from taking a bite of my mom's quesadilla (also imitation meat and just gross). Then there were a few tomatoes and a few more slivers of something unidentifiable. The server said she'd ask the cook about it, but never reported back. I only ate about 3 pieces of pasta. I was not offered an alternative or anything, so I took the rest of my "rigatoni Alfredo" home since I paid 30 bucks for it. We're definitely crossing this place off our list. We liked it when it first opened, but it's clearly gone way downhill. We'll be sure to let others know the food and service sucked. read more

Awful. my husband and I have been in the food service industry for over 20 years. And we are very understanding. Our meal came 45 minutes after ordering, which would be fine but we were missing our appetizer. The waitress said they were too busy with to go orders and missed it. She came back ten minutes and asked if we ever got it, no. Then when she finally brought it, she said another table ate the original and walked away. It was a crab cake appetizer and the binding was raw and the crab was cold. But she never came back, like never. I finally had to flag her down and yell excuse me across the restaurant, it killed me bc as a waitress I feel that is so rude, but had no choice a half hour had passed. Then we told her to please take it off the bill and bring us our bill, and she never came back! 15 minutes later my husband finally got up and went to the counter she said she would be right over, and he said he would wait. I get having to deal with mistakes from the kitchen, but she didn't even feel bad, she just didn't care, and didnt take care of us at all.
