This is the second time we've been here. It's a good half way point on our way home from a festival. Last year we had great service and great food. Got the Tully's chicken tenders with their signature sauce. It was good. This year, the food was good but the service felt very rushed. We barely got time to sit down and look over the menu before being rushed to order twice. I get that it was quiet but I didn't appreciate having such little time to look over the menu. I ordered a buffalo tenders appetizer to go on a Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. The restaurant wasn't busy, but no one seemed to notice I was there or offer any help with my to-go order. My husband and I were staying at a hotel in Clarks Summit and went into Tully's for dinner after driving seven hours..Had dinner and left not realizing that I had left my purse behind...Couple hundred (plus) dollars in cash as well as all the usual cards and ID...I barely got back to my hotel when the GM called to let me know he had it in his safe...I returned to retrieve it and there was NOTHING missing...When he called I had not yet realized that I had left it...Our plan was to leave early the next morning for a five hour drive further...I am beyond grateful as this would have certainly negatively effected my holidays...I never thought to ask him how he got my phone number!! I found this spot through a 3rd party and ordered for pickup. For myself I ordered the mahi mahi sandwich. When I arrived I parked in the plaza parking lot. I walked in and had to find where to pick up. The young lady behind the bar just pointed to where my food was. She wasn't very helpful at all. I wish I got her name. We've been eating at Tully's for years since they opened. They claim to have the best chicken tenders and honestly, they're excellent! And the honey mustard dip they make there is the best I think I've ever had. Their meatloaf is my go-to- two thick slabs of flavorful meatloaf with brown gravy over a mountain of mashed potatoes. It's a huge portion and it's delicious if you're a meatloaf fan like me. Another fave of mine is their fish fry sandwich or platter- you get a huge piece of flaky, crispy fish on a long hoagie roll (two huge pieces if you order the platter!) Their Reuben is also great too, and the French Onion soup is my wife's favorite (it is good) During the darkest days of that Covid fiasco, when our state prohibited eat-in food for months, Tully's was our go-to for takeout food. I SWEAR every time we ordered our order was 100% CORRECT! No missing soups, no garlic where there wasn't supposed to be garlic, everything was correct every time. I've passed this place dozens and dozens of times over the years but had never heard anything about it so never went...however they were the only ones in the area open on a Tuesday night so gave it a try. Ambience was exactly what I thought it would be, has the feel of an older chain restaurant. They supposedly have great chicken tenders so tried the Asian tenders dinner which came with Cole slaw and fries - they were good! And abundant! Would be a good place to watch sports as TVs literally lined the entire restaurant and bar. Bartender was Emily who was friendly and responsive! Free popcorn is always fun too. read more

Ever go to one of those restaurants that claims "World's best..." or something along the lines of "voted best in state for XXX...? Those type of establishments always made me wonder who votes on these kind of claims, what are the qualifications of those voters and if they are even valid. When I saw Tully's claims of "world's best chicken tenders", I decided to give it a try. I recruited my two teenage daughters, who have probably eaten more than their body weight in chicken tenders over their short lifetimes. So I'm using their opinions as experienced and qualified voting personnel. Right off the PA Turnpike extension/I-81/Rt. 6 confluence, this restaurant location is pretty convenient. Staff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered the largest serving of chicken tenders and french fries for the evaluation process. I must say that the honey mustard sauce may be one of the best ones I've had in decades. If they sold it by the bottle, I would buy one and bring it home. Reminds me exactly of the old Bennigan's honey mustard sauce that were served with their Broccoli Bites appetizer (oh how I miss those!). But I digress... getting back to the point of this review: how were the chicken tenders? My answer is that Raising Cane's still holds the record for the best chicken tenders we've ever consumed. Tully's was totally decent and we would definitely come back when passing through the area. But maybe some overly intergenic ambulance chasing attorney should help revise their claims at Tully's of having the "worlds best" chicken tenders. If they claimed "world's best honey mustard sauce", they would get our vote of confidence for that boastful claim. Regardless,, you can feel safe going to Tully's and enjoying your meal. Every time I come here it is a different experience. Today was a great experience. The food was delicious. We really loved the Tex-Mex egg rolls, they were my favorite thing of all. My friend had the Irishman burger and loved it as well. I got the chicken tender dinner. They were good because of the unique breading but very filling. The service was alright. My boyfriend and I went to tullys on halloween night to grab a few drinks. After we sat and decided on our drinks the waitress came to our table. When i grabbed the drink menu she immediately asked for our ids which was no issue. We gave them to her and she stared at them suspiciously and requested a second form ID as it was "Pennsylvania state law" It is not. Knowing this we handed her our debit cards and she continued to lean on our table and inspect them. I asked if there was a problem which she then stated she had to get her managers approval as it was the "law". She then disappeared in the back for 10 seconds and came back because the were verified. I've been there several times as my nephew loves the chicken tenders. Other than the tenders, I can say with 100% certainty, there's nothing else worth eating here. Their other menu items are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I ordered the baked potato soup a few months ago - I'm pretty sure it was 2 weeks old. It was solidifying into one pasty slop. I ordered a burger maybe 2-3 months ago - dry and over cooked. The bun was stale and the fries were ice cold. I just left after ordering a chopped wedge salad - the worst salad I've eaten in my life.
