This place left a lot to be desired considering the price. At the front desk I was greeted nicely and was walked back to the lockers. That's when it all went down hill from there. The changing room was dusty and dingy. The counter had old looking toiletries that were dusty. Then I was given a key to my locker where I found an old holy robe from the 80s. This robe should have never made into circulation. My first thought was to scan to make sure it was clean; not the relaxing experience you pay $178 for. The massage that followed was o-kay, nothing to rave about. Afterwards, as I was paying I told the front desk lady about the robe and she ONLY TOOK OFF $5.70 from my bill. What an INSULT. If I come back to the area this is the last place I'd go for a massage. I've had better experiences with a Groupon

One of the highlights of a business trip I took a few weeks ago to Maui was this quaint, charming spa nestled in the Honua Kai Resort in west Maui.

Just Three Words…read more.. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! I had lunch next door, been on the island 3 days, passed numerous strip mall spa locations and of course my Marriotts Resort had Spa massages at Twice the price. Popped in with no appointment. I had my island crew with me and asked if they can fit me in. Front staff was awesome, friendly, and accommodating. Answer was YES at 3pm if that fits your schedule. That was the magic timeframe in my mind. It Was Meant to Be. I dropped my crew at the resort, took a quick shower, I don't like to be sticky or sweaty for my masseuse. Arrived 10 minutes early and "Anne" was ready for me. She escorted me to the couples room, asked if there was any issues with my body, I stated I have sciatica but it hasn't flared up for six months. She stated to undress "To my Comfort" and lie face up. Face Up??? I've never started a massage that way. She stated, I do things different, I start with your head, like a champagne bottle, make your brain POP, then your arms legs and then the flip so your back is the coup de grâce. It wasn't a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, Swedish, or deep tissue massage. Anne has 30 plus years experience. She incorporates all that she's learned into her own method. O my Gosh, it started weak, I'm thinking OK??? But then she really started, kneaded, pinched, smoothed every muscle. Being that I was in the couples massage room, she had extra material, hot towels, heat belts, Hot Rocks, etc. she used it all. I was a pampered Prince. I've had high priced spa massages, low cost strip mall massages But This was the Best Massage I've ever had. I was jelly at the end. When I came back to the Marriotts and met my crew, They didn't have to ask, all they saw was a Cheshire Cats grin on my face. If you go to Zensations, ask for Anne!!! We plan on being back to Maui next year and if so, I'll have two massages scheduled. 1. Upon arrival to relax before our vacation starts and 2. Right before I leave. 100 plus 10 percent Recommended!!!!

Between back ( thank you SW) and neck problems, I've hardly been able to function. Out of pure desperation, I booked an appointment with this business on a Sunday morning. They promptly responded, got me in and so began the most effective massage of my ancient 72 years. Jiji poked, prodded and massaged an incredible amount of pain right out of me. She also explained what was causing a lot of the pain and what exercises would help alleviate it in the future It felt like a combination massage,/therapy session. I learned a huge amount of information about my body that I was not aware of. Best of all. I walked away from the massage standing up straight. The entire experience was positive. I wish that I could whisk Jiji back to New Mexico At least I now know what constitutes a professional massage worth every single penny and more.

I booked an 80 min Cab Lomi Lomi massage outside in the cabana facing the ocean! Worth every single cent! They do have a 20% service charge split between the hotel and the spa but they're very upfront about this charge when you book as well as with reminders. The facilities were so beautiful and clean! I was able to take advantage of the sauna, the infinity pool, snacks, citrus infused water, locker room, dark chocolate, and complimentary champagne. Adrian was my massage therapist and he was so kind and made sure to honor my request for medium but light pressure! I felt so relaxed! He even took some photos, of me as requested so I'd have them for memories! The view, stellar! Literally so beautiful! Like something out of a postcard! I accidentally booked the wrong Heavenly Spa location, but it turned out to be an amazing mistake!…read more I had Mel as my massage therapist, and I would highly recommend you request her! Even though I told her I thought my shoulders and back needed the most work for my deep tissue massage, she suggested working on my entire body after noticing the areas that I've had injuries/strains/tendonitis without me mentioning it to her. She could tell from my body that I was not balanced when I'm sitting down (I blame work), which I had a sense that was the case, but she confirmed it. This was one of the best massages I've had, and before that, I thought nothing could beat the massage I had at Aria in Vegas. I'm still blown away by the fact that Mel could tell what areas of my body needed work when I didn't even tell her. My line of work of physically demanding that requires proper ergonomics to avoid work injuries but that's not always feasible. The spa has great amenities to enjoy after your treatment. There's a great view with an infinity pool where you can dip in or lounge in the chair. I obviously was not prepared for this since I thought I booked the other location. I would recommend you bring a swimsuit if you want to dip in the infinity pool. There's an individual infrared sauna you can also sit in, which was a great sweat session. They also will offer you refreshment to enjoy after your treatment. I ended up getting the POG mimosa, which was tasty. As for parking, you get free complimentary valet up to 4 hours. The front staff will ask you at the end, which was good because I totally forgot I needed to validate it. I will say that there is a huge difference between the cheaper spa massages you can get somewhere else compared to one at a hotel. This one was definitely worth the splurge when you can get a private room with no distractions, be pampered, and then enjoy the amenities at the end. If you're ok with spending that much with a nice view to enjoy at the end, then I would highly recommend you check out this spa!

The free valet was fantastic, and the room was spacious, clean, and had a gorgeous ocean view. We had an issue with our mattress and it was never comfortable. That was the big bummer of the stay. They replaced our mattress after we said something but it didn't fix the issue. When we laid down, we always felt like where laying way back like toward the headboard, feet higher than our head. It may have been a bed frame issue. It wasn't the worst, we just ended sleeping the other way. You have to call housekeeping to get service. That was super easy and they did a great job. All staff on site were wonderful. The grounds were well-kept, and we loved spending time by the pool--there were a few different pools, each with its own unique feel. Surprisingly, we went down the slide several times (haha it's not just for kids). Duke's on the property was a big plus. They had servers taking orders pool side. The food trucks nearby were fantastic, dealing distance away, and so much variety. they're open u til 8pm. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back.

Also love keypad entry so you don't have to remember your keys all the time esp when at beach or pool. Love the outdoor grills and beer fridges on the villa balconies. Areas of feedback for the property: We found many of the units to have been in mediocre condition and poorly maintained. Two units have broken a/c's and a third was just barely strong enough. Also had WiFi issues, broken bbq lids, non operational patio fans, broken dishwashers. In the common areas, the gym has a decent set of weight equipment, but is comically small, almost infuriatingly and dangerously so. Every morning and every evening before dinner it was just so packed, you could barely do your sets without bumping into somebody at the machine next to you To add to that, the gym's air conditioning was broken all week (who knows how long before that?) which added to the discomfort. I'm a pretty easy-going traveler and have no problem when a couple of these happen from time to time but seeing them all occur is a clear sign of poor management by the ownership. My TLDR here is it's a good property, but shows extremely poor management and excessive cost cutting, and ultimately becomes a subpar product until that's addressed.

The place is in a strip mall with ample parking. My wife spoke to them and they could fit us in two hours. We went back to our hotel and sat by the pool. They texted my wife to get us in earlier. We packed up and headed to their shop. When we got there we were lead to our room. The rooms were connected with their own enter-trance. My masseuse didn't ask which kind of massage I wanted but she did all different kinds of techniques on me and turns out that is the one I wanted. Wow, she really worked hard on me and at times it was a little painful but not too bad. She could tell that my left arm or shoulder was hurting so she went and worked on that a lot to try to loosen it up. Overall, I really liked the massage and I felt very relaxed after it. She even stood up and standing on my legs, which was weird it didn't hurt so it was fine. I guess that's a Thai technique. The wife had a great massage also and we're happy with this place. This is still one of my favorite places in the world and my previous review still applies, but the…read moreprice, my partner's (first!) experience, the service, and the products out of stock made me reconsider my rating. First of my concerns is the price of a day pass, which is now over $180 for only three hours. I'm not sure if/how they enforce this (we don't check in/out at any point), but having to constantly check the clock is the opposite of relaxing. For that price, it should offer all-day entry. Secondly, my last visit was poorly stocked. The piles of towels have been reduced, and sandals had to be pulled out of a locker. The sunscreen pump was empty in the co-ed area, and I had to notify the front desk as I could not find an attendant. It appears their partnership was ended with the skincare company that used to provide products at the vanity, and the iced towels by the steam room were quickly sitting in a bowl of water. Third, the service was brusque. My tour was given by an attendant (Aaron) who seemed strangely nervous, but my partner did not receive a tour at all. Her attendant just said, "here's your locker," and left. My partner had to seek out and ask the attendant (who was now giving a tour to a different guest) for sandals and was brushed off. She ended up getting lost multiple times, as the hallways and doors can be confusing at first. When I went to report the sunscreen, the front desk attendant interrupted me with her hand and said, "sunscreen, got it," and got on the phone, so I couldn't even tell her about my girlfriend's lack of an orientation tour. Finally, it's been years, but they used to have drinks available. One of my favorite Hawaiian memories involved sipping on a chocolate banana smoothie by the pool. Now the cafe is a gift shop with almost nothing for men, and when I was there, no one running it. I still love being here and enjoying the gorgeous amenities - going nude in the men's area and cycling between the sauna / rainfall shower / whirlpool jacuzzi / steam room is bliss.

They used to cover the whole day. The thing that is the most frustrated though is that there is an automatic service charge for "service providers" at the spa, but you're not getting a service.
