I booked an 80 min Cab Lomi Lomi massage outside in the cabana facing the ocean! Worth every single cent! They do have a 20% service charge split between the hotel and the spa but they're very upfront about this charge when you book as well as with reminders. The facilities were so beautiful and clean! I was able to take advantage of the sauna, the infinity pool, snacks, citrus infused water, locker room, dark chocolate, and complimentary champagne. Adrian was my massage therapist and he was so kind and made sure to honor my request for medium but light pressure! I felt so relaxed! He even took some photos, of me as requested so I'd have them for memories! The view, stellar! Literally so beautiful! Like something out of a postcard! I accidentally booked the wrong Heavenly Spa location, but it turned out to be an amazing mistake! I had Mel as my massage therapist, and I would highly recommend you request her! Even though I told her I thought my shoulders and back needed the most work for my deep tissue massage, she suggested working on my entire body after noticing the areas that I've had injuries/strains/tendonitis without me mentioning it to her. She could tell from my body that I was not balanced when I'm sitting down (I blame work), which I had a sense that was the case, but she confirmed it. This was one of the best massages I've had, and before that, I thought nothing could beat the massage I had at Aria in Vegas. I'm still blown away by the fact that Mel could tell what areas of my body needed work when I didn't even tell her. My line of work of physically demanding that requires proper ergonomics to avoid work injuries but that's not always feasible. The spa has great amenities to enjoy after your treatment. There's a great view with an infinity pool where you can dip in or lounge in the chair. I obviously was not prepared for this since I thought I booked the other location. I would recommend you bring a swimsuit if you want to dip in the infinity pool. There's an individual infrared sauna you can also sit in, which was a great sweat session. They also will offer you refreshment to enjoy after your treatment. I ended up getting the POG mimosa, which was tasty. As for parking, you get free complimentary valet up to 4 hours. The front staff will ask you at the end, which was good because I totally forgot I needed to validate it. I will say that there is a huge difference between the cheaper spa massages you can get somewhere else compared to one at a hotel. This one was definitely worth the splurge when you can get a private room with no distractions, be pampered, and then enjoy the amenities at the end. Don't waste your money or time. The massage was incredible so if you're looking to pay over $400 with no amenities, this is the place for you. For me, I came on vacation and was looking forward to a relaxing spa day. They advertise a lanai for spa guests with beautiful views, a small pool, and sauna. They do have that but it's open to hotel guests and is connected to a restaurant at the hotel. While in our bathrobes with no clothes under, we went out to the lanai to relax before our massage. We are shocked to find tons of guests watching us from the restaurant. It was incredibly loud with club like music and people talking and then some restaurant guests came in to the lanai with their food and setup right next to us. They were so loud and disruptive. Ruined the experience! After the massage we went back out hoping it'd be less busy but hotel guests had put towels on all the lounge chairs and reserved them and half weren't even there. It was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. Not the spa experience they advertise or that we paid for. We came last year and this was not the setup. Now that they've changed this without noting it on their website, we will never come back. I'd rather spend my money somewhere that actually provides relaxation and peace. read more

Masseuse was fine although a little chatty for my liking. The biggest concern I had was the attitude of the front desk. I had booked 2 services for 2 separate days during my stay. On the first day, my massage was at 2pm , however our family spontaneously decided to go off property for lunch and I didn't want to worry about rushing back/being late. I checked the online spa booking website and saw that they had the same service available to book at 3 PM, so I headed over to the spa to inquire if I could make this change. The receptionist whispered with someone else about the request, then they determined it "was not possible" although it appeared they both acknowledged/looked at the open slot on the computer. They acted judgmental about how much time I would need to go off property, be back etc When I returned for the 2pm appt, the same receptionist greeted me and said "welcome back", acknowledging our prior interaction. As she started the check in process, she commented that she saw I had another service booked for later that week and inquired if I could change the time from 1:30 to 1:45pm?!!' I couldn't believe that they would have the audacity to ask me this when no less than 2 hours earlier, they denied my similar request. Ultimately this left a bad impression and I later cancelled the 2nd service completely. read more

I went to write a 5 star review and totally forgot I had previously reviewed the spa. The spa has all new showers, amenities, and an amazing hot plunge Infiniti pool with a gorgeous view. We scheduled massages for my Birthday and we had an amazing, relaxing experience!!! Kayla my spa attendant made sure I was taken care of with champagne and amazing customer service. I wish I could give my masseuse Joseph 10 stars! It was such a great hot stones massage. It was so relaxing and he worked on problem areas and I feel so much better today! Was I ever wrong! From the moment you step onto the Westin's property (ideally from your free valet-parked car, compliments of the spa and a $45 value) you'll feel peace and tranquility surround you like a silken sheet of serenity. A stroll through the flamingo-filled lobby and a quick jaunt upstairs leads you to the Heavenly Spa, where therapists speak softly and true beautification magic happens every second of every day. We were promptly escorted around the spa property and shown around the opulent women's locker room (a terrible name for a space so serene), the relaxation room where patrons await their services, and--most importantly--the outdoor lanai with a private plunge pool overlooking beautiful Ka'anapali Beach. Throughout the spa, there are several snacking stations filled with jars of coconut chips, dried tropical fruits, mixed nuts, chocolates, miniature granola bars, flavored water, and their special blend of white tea. Goodies can be collected in adorable coconut-husk bowls and enjoyed anywhere on the property. Prior to my treatment, I spent some considerable time on the lanai, enjoying the plunge pool, laying on the floating loungers, and simply soaking in the beauty and bliss of the view. Periodically, spa staff circulated throughout the area, offering toothpicks with fresh Maui gold pineapple to all patrons. Post-treatment, guests are gifted a complimentary glass of champagne and ladies receive a fresh flower for their hair...such a lovely touch! The treatment itself--an 80-minute "tropical escape" body treatment was absolutely "Heavenly", with a tropical scrub and exfoliation, strawberry lotion application (that I desperately wanted to lick off of my arms it smelled so good), coconut oil scalp massage that left my hair feeling incredibly soft, and a facial. However, as a foot massage had been advertised online in lieu of the facial, this was what I was expecting. When my therapist told me otherwise, I was quite uncomfortable, as the skin on my face is incredibly sensitive and unable to withstand the average "facial". Upon explaining this to my therapist, I was met with her compassion and concern, and she happily agreed to substitute an extended foot massage (as I had seen advertised) in place of the facial. My spa buddy, on the other hand, had read the same advertisement that I had. When they heard about the facial substitution, they spoke up and inquired about the foot massage. Their therapist apologized for the mix-up (turns out, the "old way" was to offer a foot massage) and ended up giving my buddy both the facial AND the foot massage as an apology for the inconvenience. Truly impeccable service, and my buddy called the entire treatment the "best eighty minutes" of her life. At the end of our time of bliss, I checked out at the front desk and we both received little chocolates as a "mahalo" for visiting...or to take away a bit of the sting from the, admittedly high, bill. The Heavenly Spa at the Westin is a bit of a splurge, to be sure, but it is absolutely worth it. This wonderful little spa is within the Westin Maui. My husband and I were staying here and got a couples massage. We would highly recommend. Our therapists were amazing! The room had stars on the ceiling, which made it magical. We added on the foot scrub which was so relaxing! From there we went to the terrace which was so peaceful to relax at after our treatment. The only downside, the spa/pool area is luke warm and all we wanted was a warmer pool to relax in. It was Cin a gorgeous view that we couldn't help but sit and look out. We ended up relaxing on the loungers and watching the ocean. Final thoughts- just go if you're here. It's worth it! Also the robes are super soft and comfortable!! read more

I'd never stay here again or recommend it to anyone . The rooms are so small not even a bath or double sink . We were so crammed I stubbed my toe and my nail started to fall off . We told the front desk and all they did was give me a bandaid . Not even enough bandaids for our stay . The service nobody gives a shit . We came the first of November mainly for the pools and all the pools were freezing accept the adult jacuzzi everyone was crammed in ! We told the front desk like why isn't their pool warm and they didn't care . If I would've known they have no pool warmers we would not have even paid the money to come here. When we got our final bill, we did not know that parking was $45 a day on top of the $45 resort fee.! so be aware parking is not included in your resort fee. This is self parking too ! Also this location is not very good Everything's on the other side of the island. The only places to eat here are fancy restaurants that you're going to spend $200 on and need a reservation for that is impossible to get . read more

Overall the spa is nice and the attendants are friendly. Both my wife and I thought the massages were okay, not great. The spa facilities are very basic but they are nice and well maintained. They don't have a cold plunge, jacuzzi, or steam room. I asked several times when booking if this included time to use the entire spa facilities (hydrotherapy) before or after the message and they said "yes, as much time as you like." But there aren't any facilities to use besides a pool that is cold outside. read more

We paid more for our massages as we thought we were going somewhere with spa facilities. This only has a (slightly overcrowded) plunge pool. Apparently you can use an infrared sauna for an extra 30 per person for 30 mins. but we didn't see it. My recommendation is pay a little more and go to somewhere like the Montage Spa. It's gorgeous and you could spend hours there - bamboo rain walk, sauna, real infinity pool, whirlpool... a real spa experience. I've been several times but hubby was golfing near heavenly. So much more for your $$! My massage was fine - not the best and not the worst - but if we'd known it was just a massage we would have spent a lot less and gone to a massage place. One thing that niggled was they add 20% gratuity - I'm fine with that but the hotel keeps 3% according to the woman at checkout. Give the tip to the staff!!!!! read more

The Spa experience at the start was great, massage was perfect until, after checking out the customer service at front desk of heavenly spa was terrible. We ran our card and they said approved on the transaction and on our card app, they said the 1k was not approved yet our cards had been approved. The manager came out to help Erin, she accused us of not paying and held us hostage even after staff said we had paid. So Erin called the police, and held our car at the valet. My mom, sister and I went to the heavenly spa for fifty minute massages. The facilities were very clean. We each received lockers for our things and were able to change into robes provided by the spa. Snacks and water were provided as desired. For the price, I would have expected a little bit more. We all received very different massages, which is nice to know that they individualize the experience. However, my masseuse went a little bit harder then I expected or wanted. I should have spoken up, but didn't really know what to say. She seemed more interested in stretching out my rotator cuffs and hamstrings, then giving me a soothing Maui vacation massage that I had expected. At one point, she was having me push against her with my legs for five second intervals and it began to feel like a physical therapy appointment. It really just wasn't as relaxing as I wanted it to be. Secondly, my sister and my moms masseur offered to wear gloves during the massage. I did not get that same offer, which I would have appreciated considering everything going on with Covid. She did, however, wash her hands at the end of the massage and I assume before -- I hope. I think it would be better to fully understand client needs for the massage. This could be done in a quick online survey before the massage to understand best the clients expectations. The outside pool is nice, but we didn't really feel the need to spend a large amount of time up there. Overall, we were treated very well and you can tell that the spa employees hope you have a wonderful experience and care for you the entire time you are there. I would likely not pay the price for this massage though again for what we received. My mom and sister seemed to have very different experiences and more relaxing spa experiences. read more

I had cocoa butter massage and I would highly recommend this to hydrate your sun-kissed skin. My husband would agree we had our best massages recently at heavenly spa. Megan was my girl (an ace) and Crystal my husbands girl. We have visited Heavenly Spa before and had the couples gazebo massage which was okay and I expected to be complete ocean side not near the pathway where you could hear life happening. Bonus, we were provided a glass of champagne to toast and relax together. Back to our recent visit late Oct 2019. I wish I could bring my girl Megan home with me for my regular massages. I went in 6 days after fracturing my rib, call me crazy but I was in paradise. Megan as concerned as she was provided extra pillows for comfort and helped me lay comfortably - I felt zero pain. My best description: I felt like I was being pampered while floating on clouds. No champagne this time (not sure why). The location is tucked away in the Westin which is great if you want to relax outside before and after in the lounge chair. They provide robes, sandal, towels, brushes, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, deodorant etc. The new shampoo/conditioner did wonders on my hair (not the one they sell i the lobby area). If you do lounge outside there are a few rooms that people may be checked into and may hear chatter but not disturbing at all. The sounds of the landscape blowing in the wind with crisp cucumber water makes up for it. The staff were all friendly as they come! read more

I loved my 50 minute Heavenly Massage by Carrie. She used the pressure I asked her to use and she checked in throughout the massage to make sure it was what I wanted. She targeted some troublesome areas on my body and helped my muscles relax. Speaking of relaxation, by the end, I was more relaxed than I had ever been at the end of my massage. I also loved that I had access to the rest of the spa for the remainder of the day. The Plunge pool was enjoyable in the afternoon when the sun streamed in and the view was breathtaking. What a rip off! We scheduled the 'Helani manicure and pedicure' for my husband and I. We've had several manicure/pedicures in the past from cheap $25 for the combo up to wonderful 5 star resorts. So when we were told that this would be a wonderful 90 minute treatment and cost $135 for the manicure and pedicure per person, we thought it'd be above average. So wrong! The two ladies (Shawna and Mya) brought us to the salon from the spa waiting area on time. They informed us that the manicures would be first. We sat down and they proceeded to the manicures. At first everything seemed fine but then I saw all the chinks in the armor. Problems: 1) Mya smacked on gum the full 90 minutes. How unprofessional and not relaxing. 2) The two nail technicians talked loudly to each other about their personal lives. I'd expect this in a cheap salon, but not in a nice pricey salon. 3) Mya pulled at my cuticles, filed my nails completely unevenly, and was completely not paying attention to any details. She never asked me what shape I wanted my nails. 4) There is a break room and storage room located about 2 feet from one of the manicure chairs. People go in and out of there constantly and leave the door open. We watched numerous people chat on the phone, eat, drink, and got a great view of bleach and other cleaning supplies. 5) When Mya went to do my paraffin wax treatment, she had left the wax out so long that it was solid inside the bags. She basically had me put my hands on lumps of cold wax. I showed her this, and she halfheartedly asked if I wanted her to add more wax. I said yes (I was after all paying a pretty penny for this). After we finished our manicures, we headed over for the pedicures. We sat down on the individual areas, and Mya already had my 'jelly bath' foot treatment ready to go. Shawna did my husband's once he sat down. Basically, he got a nice warm foot treatment where mine was cold. After the jelly bath, I was told to put my feet into the water jacuzzi. It was COLD. Mya felt it without my prompting and immediately drained some of the water and warmed it up. Is this really an $85 pedicure? She then clipped my nails and never filed some of them. She does not pay attention to detail at all. Shawna seemed to be much better. I was disappointed in the whole experience. I thought it was on par with a $20 pedicure, not $85. I don't care if this is Hawaii or not, the service level should be up to a certain standard no matter the cost. I will encourage everyone I know to avoid this spa and salon. read more

Best way to really relax on vacation is to get a massage or facial, or both! Fortunately, I was staying at the The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and had easy access to walk right in the Heavenly Spa doors to make a reservation. Easy peasy. The experience begins with a refreshing cup of citrus water while you are escorted into the locker area. Everything is clean, I love that. Just laundered white towels, your own robe and bath slippers waiting for you in a locker, and the freedom to spend ALL DAY using the amenities -- jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, shower and accoutrements -- or just sit in the relaxation lounge. After changing into the robe and slippers, you move to the relaxation area which features lounging chairs all facing the ocean. From the floor to ceiling glass windows, you have a perfect view of whales frolicking during the season (Dec.-April) while you sip a refreshing coconut white tea and nibble on almonds and dried sweetened pineapple. There's even more citrus water and a cucumber-lime water to quench your thirst. My masseuse, Cambria, was a tiny thing with small hands but she worked me like pastry dough until all the kinks were eased from my back and shoulders. At one point, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep which is always a sign of a good lomi lomi massage. The massage was so fabulous I went back the next day for a vitamin facial with Teri. Although I was afraid of turning into an orange oompa loompa, Teri was quick to point out that a vitamin facial removes the dead skin while pumping back in moisture. Everything smelled delicious, from the lavender scented hot towel to the vitamin creams, and best of all my skin was glowing but not orange! If you go, ask about kama'aina rates! read more

I had the island lavendar body butter treatment. Great location, amenities (organic lavender white tea, fresh fruits, water... beautiful view... whirlpool, sauna, steam room), and service. The treatment was great - all the products were locally made (though not yet sold at the salon because they are made by a little woman named Esther who lives upcountry!). As a "four star"'hotel with a spa one expects a few things- sauna, steam room, whirlpool etc. this spa has none of that despite various websites saying that all of that is offered. Thinking that these amenities were available influenced our decision to stay here. Very disappointed that none of this existed. Especially for the $1000 per night price tag of the room and a $350 massage. Way overpriced, with little value. Not what I expect from a Marriott property.
