I went in on a Wednesday because, for however great Denver is, I can't find all-you-can-eat wings anywhere else. And as disappointed as I was that they don't accept vertical ID's(Which is all my home state gives out) I understand rules are rules, and I didn't exactly come to drink! The wings were good but not great, a little overdone at times but still a solid 8/10, and for all you can eat it was a great deal; I put away forty of them! The worst chicken wings I have ever had. Overcooked to the point of completely dry , like they were a few days old. The Three mile island sauce was hot but for some reason had sugar in it which they don't detail on menu. Why would anyone put sugar in Buffalo sauce. Okay ! Where to start ??!? Waitress took my order but it was obviously wrong. I requested for crispy buffalo wings, I ve got my wings after 15 minutes later which was not crispy at all. We were in a bind today when a catering company cancelled an hour before a veteran picnic event for Memorial Day. I am sooo thankful someone suggested Hooters! I called before they opened and they fired up the grill to have 400 wings ready for our group of 125 members of VFW Post 1 and Auxiliary Post 1 in 20 MINUTES! Not only did they come through with the food, but Lenny and his team (Ronnie, Miranda & Nelly) helped sort out and provide all the utensils, plates, sauces, paper towels, etc EVERYTHING we needed. The way they stepped up and helped this group of veterans and their families in a pinch was amazing! They kept saying, "whatever you need we've got you!" What a great group of humans who care! I am personally thankful and I know VFW Post 1 & Auxiliary Post 1 is also thankful. It was great food & everyone was happy! A few of us came back for a drink and to personally thank the Hooters team after the event. Even then, they were short handed and busy but still had smiles on their faces and were truly serving their customers. Please support them when you can! I know me and my veteran family will definitely show support whenever possible. You truly saved the day today! Memorial Day is hard on our service members and families. I just brought home some clam chowder about 30 minutes ago and just found a piece of plastic at the bottom of my clam chowder bowl!!! I have no idea where or what it came from, but it looks like it broke off from something. It's about an inch long and whitish yellow in color. What if I had accidentally swallowed it!? I'm not happy.. Upon entering Hooters, the waitress asked me if I needed a table, I told her I wanted to place a takeout order.. She says: have a seat at the bar, someone will be right with you.. In general, I really dislike Hooter's food, but was willing to go with a group of friends on a Thursday night because not a lot of other places were still open and a Hooters waitress can put a smile on your face. They renovated the place here recently, I think its much better now it feels more open and the lights are a little more dim so it doesn't feel so bright and loud in there anymore, also the outside area is alot bigger as well. I don't like the breaded wings here at Hooters, they seem to be over breaded. The naked ones are fine, many flavors to choose from. The oysters are surprisingly fresh but are a bit expensive. Since they've renovated everything looks more modernized. The service here was good although our server didn't really have a clue on what seasonal beers they had, and apparently they didn't serve Blue Moon in a pitcher, only on certain days, but whatever. After running back and forth we were finally able to enjoy a ginormous mug of our iced cold Blue Moon which was all that mattered. The wings are good and they added a few new flavors to making it that much more difficult to decide which ones to get. I wouldn't recommend the lemon pepper, found it rather too salty. Their new triple dog dare is the spiciest flavor they had and packs quite a punch! My favorite would be the 3 Mile because it has just the right amount of heat where it doesn't singe your tongue and ruins your appetite as your gulping down cups after cups of water and beer just to alleviate the pain. read more

The waitress seemed irritated that we said something, but the manager on the other hand, was fast and efficient at fixing our order. I am not a big drinker, so I definitely just go here for the wings. They have so many flavors that I'm absolutely in love with. All the girls there are pretty and pleasant to talk to. I try to stay away from here during games and UFC fights, it gets pretty packed. For the appetizers, I love the fried pickles, they are so delicious and unique.
