Horrible experience, I left a review the following day and it has disappeared! We were served steaks so full of grizzle we had to spit chunks in our napkins, we also were charged for spinach we never ordered.... So disappointed

Everything was fantastic (food, drinks, service, etc) until I got sticker-shocked with the bill. It was happy hour for the majority of my dining and drinking but because checked out 30 minutes AFTER happy hour ended, they charged me full price. word to the wise is: ask for your bill BEFORE six so you don't pay full price if you're there for happy hour.

One of the worst steakhouse experiences I've had in a while. We ordered lamb chops and a Caesar salad-the salad was good, and the potatoes and Mac&Cheese were mediocre, but the lamb chops were way, way, way too salty, to the point where my mouth felt numb. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I went to take a bite, I felt a long, slithery piece of hair on my tongue. It completely ruined the already inedible food for me. Even though they brought out another plate, I was too disgusted to eat another bite. Knowing that someone else's hair had just been in my mouth was repulsive. To make matters worse, I had to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for my replacement meal while my entire party ate in front of me. And when the new food finally arrived, it was still just as unbearably salty. Honestly, this place is not worth the money at all. Definitely wouldn't consider it a "high-class" establishment unless the only thing you're looking forward to is a quiet and dimly lit room.

I visited Ruth's Chris for an event, so we were seated in their event space in the back. The house salad was pretty basic, other than the delicious cheesy croutons. I ordered a ribeye, which I think was a mistake over the filet. I would get the filet in the future after trying it. We got creamed spinach and mashed potatoes as our sides. I loved the creamed spinach and could not get enough. I'm not a huge potato fan in general, so I didn't eat much of them. However, they were still delicious, just not my vibe. Our servers were attentive and everything come out so quickly. Overall, it was all good. I would go back in the future for other events or functions. I had a good experience!

I came here for a private event for Private Equity managers...and the meal was complimentary (aka I didn't pay for it...ya cheap bastahrd). Ruth's Chris Steak houses are pretty much everywhere: Are they the most amazing last meal on earth kinda places? No that would be Peter Luger, Gibson's, or La Cabrea (ok some places in Tokyo serving A5). Buts....Ruth' Chris serves a good steak, with good sides in a nice ambiance. Service was great and seamless. Would I come back ....yes the food was good and I would even pay myself.

My husband and I went back for a late anniversary dinner and had the same exemplary service as our last visit. James and Megan were friendly and knowledgeable and treated us very well. The ambiance of this restaurant was so peaceful and enjoyable for an intimate date night. I had the New York Strip again and my husband had a Ribeye. Both steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. Our Cesar salad and lobster bisque appetizers were both yummy. The bisque was creamy with great flavor. The lobster Mac and cheese was another win with a large amount of lobster meat and creamy cheese sauce. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious as well. I had the crème brûlée for dessert which was light and delicious. I also tried the the Ruth's coffee dessert cocktail which was boozy and delicious. My husband got the chocolate sin cake and said it was very yummy. The chef wrote us a special anniversary note on the plate which was sweet. My husband had the blueberry mojito which was delicious and the merlot listed on their food pairing menu was perfect. We can't wait to come back again.

We made reservations on a Saturday night at 5pm for shortly after the restaurant opened. We found free parking easily and were seated rather quickly. Service was prompt and great - our server took great care of us. Loved the complimentary bread, extra dirty martini, and the food in general. We had shrimp cocktail (which was gigantic!) and ordered off their pre-fix menu. For $72, we had salads, surf & turf with a side each, and cheesecake for dessert. One of our medium rare steaks came extremely rare, but once I raised it they took it back to cook it to the medium rare we requested. We would come back!

There's thankfully parking in front and around the back in lots. One of the highlights is their charcuterie boards - we ordered one last time and it was packed full of goodies: meats, cheeses, cornichons, olives, nuts, fruit, etc. Really well thought out. We did consider coming back here recently for our friend's birthday but apparently if you try to make a reservation for over 6 people you have to PAY per person - that's a little ludicrous. I understand a party of 50 and charging some fee, but to charge for a small party is a way to not get party business. I would likely come back here as it is a nice central location and has a nice patio though.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

Drove from Castle Rock to One Barrel American Bistro and Wine Bar in Englewood for a late lunch/…read moreearly dinner on a Friday. Arrived around 2:15 pm. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant that is convenient. There were several people seated at the bar and a few others in the dining area. The decor is pleasant (see photos attached) with stacks of wine bottles from floor to ceiling on one wall. Our server was excellent. He appeared when needed and let us enjoy the wine and food the rest of the time. The Dark Noir flight offered a few ounces of 3 distinctly different pinot noirs for a reasonable $16. The Pike Road from Willamette Valley stood out with a complex flavor profile. Will definitely be buying several bottles for home next time at Total Wine. The steak frites was delicious. The frites were fried in a batter and the ketchup was thick and flavorful. The 8 oz NY strip was a nice cut with little fat and a tasty green peppercorn glaze. It tasted like it had been grilled on a barbecue and was cooked a perfect medium. The turkey sandwich with avocado and pepper aioli was also outstanding and a generous size. The only disappointment was the music selection which was a cross between country and 1950's. It reminded me of the soundtrack from the David Lynch movie Blue Velvet. And the music was loud enough to be a bit intrusive. Would subtract 1/2 star for that but it rounds up to a 5, and all the other positives far outweigh that negative.

Read good reviews, so stopped in to check it out…read more FOOD: We had read something about good cocktails, but it took a lot of digging (beyond the menus provided) to find anything about it. Wine list was a lot shorter than I sort of expected from a place called a "wine bar." The malbec I ordered a glass of was fine; my wife's rose champagne was very nice and dry. We tried a couple of apps to see if we wanted to order dinner. The polenta fries were dry. The Korean pork tidbits were tasty but just little chunks of pork in a bowl. Nothing drastically wrong with either, but not anything particularly inspiring, either. We decided to have dinner elsewhere. SERVICE: Friendly, but felt pushed to order something *right now*. The receipt came with QR code for payment through Toast. It wasn't clear if I should pay through that, or wait for her to take my card. (I used the QR code, and the waitperson then wandered over (to get my card, it seemed) and seemed surprised and very relieved I'd used the QR code, which saved them so much work. AMBIANCE: Nicely decorated place. They apparently do a number of events, and when we were there, a big party was going on in the front half of the dining room, which was fairly noisy (and the crowd of which spread across the entrance). NET-NET: Not a great experience -- not bad, strictly speaking, but there's a lot of other places I could have gone. I'd eat there again if a friend recommended meeting there, but given the many choices in downtown Englewood, I wouldn't pick it again on my own.

It was just a normal steak and potato meal in my opinion. When for dessert was the crème brûlée! I absolutely love crème brûlée and this one lived up to its expectations.
